Bra fitting help » New to underwire bras, unsure if molded wired cup fits correctly
Panache » Cari Moulded Spacer Bra (7961) » 34F 34:7
I have no idea if this fits properly. There is minor gapping at the top and near the armpit. I have worn nursing bras for the last 3 years and have not worn underwire maybe ever. I have tried on more narrow wire bras and they were not good for me, so I'm trying to find wider width to accommodate. I need more coverage as plunge bras do not offer the support I need. I am still nursing 2-3 times a day. My breasts are not self supporting and are very projected. Just trying to find the best fit/style for me that will be a good go-to choice for every day wear.

helpfulSpacer foam bras are the most light & breathable of the foam-cup bras. see this informational video from HerRoom on different bra foam types, if interested, lol. https://youtu.be/8gZXiQt5hIg?si=SIF7Z9urrvyH7Zuf
However, they offer the least amount of breast support, and you could probably notice that from reading some of the reviews on Bratabase for the Panache Cari https://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/cari-moulded-spacer-bra-7961/ some people have written - in the larger cup sizes - that the bra just kind of covers their breast, but doesn't offer the best support. That's because of the spacer foam design.
Also, spacer foam is going to be the least modest (of the foam bras) as far as nipple show through. For some people, this doesn't bother them, but for others it is a concern.
I've also read (on a bra manufacturer's website) that spacer foam bras work best for medium-sized breasts. but not large breasts. And I believe this is just b/c they are not as supportive as other types of bras.
If you want a better fit/better support, you'd have to go to a seamed bra. Otherwise, there will be some gaping in the cup, especially with movement. Note: you can still have a bra that is both padded & seamed, but it's my understanding those are mostly the ethically-made (& ethically-marketed) brands, like Polish brand, Comexim.
But at this point though, if you're still nursing 2-3 times a day, I would hold off on investing too much on trying to find the perfect fit right now, since your breasts will most likely change again after you stop breastfeeding.
I would just try to go with what is comfortable and supportive at this point - knowing that you may have to reassess some time in the future.
