Bra fitting help » Center gore sitting on breast tissue and quad boob.

I am having trouble with the center core. Are my breasts just too close set and that’s why the gore lays on the tissue here? I also spill over a bit towards the center of one cup. I have this problem frequently. Maybe I’m looking for the wrong shaped bras? I do need something seamless. The one thing I love about this bra is the shape of my breasts in it. Very natural and lifted!

helpfulyup, seems like youre closer set than the bra is. You'll probably do better with shorter and narrower center gores. It is also possible to alter the gore of the bra to be narrower. If you search you can find tutorials on how to do that yourself or some local bra boutiques offer tailoring services as well. I'm not sure if doing that would fix the minor spilling at the top of the cup though.

helpfulIn my experience this CAN be caused by a bra that's just not center-full enough, but usually that also goes hand in hand with the gore being too wide and sometimes the bra being too shallow. Since this bra is molded, I'm guessing the shallowness also plays a part. I totally understand wanting seamless bras, but I'd also look into ones with more low-profile seams. They're going to be way more likely to accommodate center-fullness. Alternatively you can look for molded bras with very low gores.
I've done the narrow gore alteration on nearly every bra I own and it's never actually made a non-tacking gore tack for me, but YMMV.Re: the quadboob: center-pull straps can cause some weird things to happen with fit. I'd stick to side-pull ones. If it happens mostly towards the gore then it's also likely the result of it being too closed in the center.

helpfulIT is hard to say if the gore is too wide or not as I am thinking that the cups seem too small. Maybe try loosing the straps, doing a good swoop and scoop and see where all the breast tissue wants to go. What kind of wrinkling do you have at the wire if any? Given the picture s and the measurements of the bra depth and the perimeter of the breast, you may want to try bras that are a few more cup sizes bigger with projection rather than shallow bras. No need to squish the ladies into submission!
