Issue resolved
So, overall this bra ended up being a good fit. The wires stayed in my IMF all day long. I will still try a 30E in this bra to get more longevity out of the band. And I will see about stitching the bra a little to get rid of the minimal wrinkling.
Original problem
So, I thought this bra was fairly comfortable. A bit concerned that the band is too big, as it is brand new and I have to already use the middle hooks in order for it to feel tight enough. The wings were gaping a little at the top until I tightened the straps and fastened with middle hooks. There is a bit of wrinkling in the upper cup area, as most of my breast tissue seems to be near the bottom. I think the bottom of the cup is filled out decently. Wondering if I need a smaller cup size or smaller band or just a different shape?

helpfulThis is a tough call. Generally, the recommended advice is to start on the last hook, that way - as the bra band stretches out - you can just make the bra tighter. Since you're already on the middle hook, the bra will not last as long. Freya bras are known to be "loose in the band" so you may have to go down one band with Freya. If you were to sister size down, you would go for size 30E (down in the band, up in the cup = your sister size down (smaller))
It's possible this bra could work for you?? In a sister-size down, I believe the cups with be a smidge SHORTER. Otherwise, I would go on to another bra. In this instance, since you seem to fill out the bottom of the cup fine, but the top is gaping, you might need a bra with a shorter cup.
Do the underwires seem fine? Or are they poking in at all, or riding down.

helpfulGiven your measurements and the length of the stretched band Freya bras in a 30 band would be a better option for your torso. This Freya bra overall looks like a good fit regardless of the minor wrinkling. Adjusting the straps may help but if not, a few stitches t0at the gore to smooth out the wrinkle works well. I do this often to fix a bra that otherwise meets all my fit requirements. Good luck with figuring out bra fitting!

jazzypants Stitching the bra did not even occur to me! What a great idea. I may try that. I wore this bra all day yesterday and the wires stayed firmly in my IMF! I am looking forward to finding more bras that actually fit and ditching all my wide shallow bras! :)

BraOdyssey thanks! I think I will try the sister size. If I can get a shorter cup, I think this may work out. The underwires felt comfortable. Definitely no poking in. I will wear it for a full day to see if they start to scooch down. Definitely better than the shallower Natori Flora in the same size.
