Issue resolved
The Natori Flora is just too wide and not projected enough for my shape. I even tried the same bra in a 32DD and had the same issues. Will try another brand with more projection in the bottom of the cup and narrower underwires.
Original problem
This is a 32D Natori Flora. The top of the cup is filled out well, with only minor quadding if I stand perfectly straight. The bottom of the cup sits too low. The bottom of the cups are empty. The wire sits at least an inch from the IMF. I think the wires are too wide. Do I need a more narrow fit with more projection?

helpfulI think you answered your own question perfectly!! You need a more narrow and projected shape.

I would say a 30 inch band would serve you better in perhaps a E-F cup as well. Take your measurements again and compare cup size. This Natori is a wider bra so a different brand would be a better fit on your narrow torso. Good luck in bra shopping!

helpfulYep - I had the same issue with Natori. I have narrow and short roots, projection, and am full on bottom. The wires on Natori basically sat on top of my ribs and there was always about an inch of space in the bottom of the cup.
I've had a lot of success with Freya and Panache's Envy, Cleo and Clara lines. If you're also FOB, balconette / demi in general are going to be good.

BraBraThrowItAway Thank you. I will look for those brands and styles as I think I am definitely FOB.

Thank you! So, should I stay in the same size and try a different bra? The calculator is putting me in 30E/30DD to 32E/32DD. Not sure if I should try to stay in 32D and just find a different shape. Or try a 32DD/32E in a more projected shape.
