Issue resolved
I need a different shape.
Original problem
I have been trying to find a "real" bra for the last two months after years of bare minimum bralettes. I feel like this one is getting very close, but it's still got problems, so i'd like some guidance on getting a better match.
In general, I'm struggling with three things. 1. dealing with my right boob, which seems to me to be a different shape. It is a bit more flat (but in a horizontal not vertical way, if that makes any sense) and maybe a touch smaller. 2. Straps folding over on the upper corner near my right armpit (problem boob side). 3. getting the underwire right and/or getting used to an underwire at all.
I am 10 months out from stopping breastfeeding with my second child. As a result, my tissue is very very soft and seems to want to squish out every which way.
For this particular bra, I feel an uncomfortable pressure on the sternum. I'm not sure what the source of that is. I'm also getting some folding over on the top of the right cup (but not left). See the last picture for an example of this. I've had this happening on many other bras on the same side, as well.
The cup on my left is filled nicely, but the right is ever so slightly gaping on the top. It's like it just settles into it a bit differently.
So I guess my questions are: 1. is the strap folding/gaping from the cups being too tall, from the straps being too far apart, or from not filling them adequately on that side?
2. How do I know the source for why an underwire is bothersome to my sternum?
3. where should I go from here?

helpfulHmm, I'm not a Natori expert, but some brands have underwires that are harder than others. For me, this would be the brand Panache - their underwires are just too hard/painful! However, some people need those hard underwires for support, so it works for them!
I don't know where you live, lol (No worries, don't tell me!) but that kinda affects what bras a woman *easily has access to*. E.g., in Europe, some people find "made in Europe" brands much more affordable and accessible.
Anyhoo, since this bra isn't a good fit for you - it's trial and error - it's like this for everyone (unfortunately).
Anyway, here's the data for your size, "most shallow to least shallow" cup in 30D. https://www.bratabase.com/browse/by-size/30:4/measurements/?direction=-&min_bras=1&order_by=cup_width&min_val=1&max_val=1.38&hide_discontinued=True&exclude_no_data=on&filter_by=cup_depth_ratio
*at least I think I did that correctly.
there's so many brands, I'm not sure which to recommend. **It just depends on what you can find in your size easily (where you live).

I made a Youtube video today explaining it, lol.
No worries, it wasn't just cause you asked. https://youtu.be/fqn6LnejZC4 I wanted to do this before lol. -
Thanks so much! I'll be sorting like crazy now.

No worries, I think I will actually redo this video sometime though. Stayed tuned I'll reupload again, if it's gone.

I want to suggest Boux Avenue brand. And maybe the gore is digging in because you need a taller gore (so more balconette styles).

Worth a shot! I'll check them out.
Oh, neat! I didn't realize you could do that level of analysis. Can I ask how you set that up?
