The straps on this model are too wide.
Original problem
The cup seems like it's too small. The straps are cutting into my armpit. Will a cup size up help?

Yes I would size up 1 cup size. But the issue with the straps might be the same or even get worse. I had the issue with too wide-set straps with many bras from Ewa Michalak. I have narrow shoulders, many straps are too wide set and cut into arms in that shape. It gets worse the larger cup size you need and added in a small band size adds to the problem. Wires are often too wide and bras too wide set in the correct size on that shape. There is a new model from Ewa: PLM which is designed for narrow shoulders. I have not tried it yet but it looks very interesting. That bra might work better for you.

I think my shoulders are narrow too. My boobs are close set, so I like plunge styles, but this seems especially common in plunge styles. I don't get why they don't just design the bra straps a little more inwards though.
