Bra fitting help » What do these puckers mean in regard to my actual shape?
Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) » 30E 30:6
This is my first non-molded bra, which was kindly suggested to me by tatatititutu regarding a projection issue with a Natori bra. They were correct about that projection problem, but now I'm left with more shape questions now that I'm not just being squished into the molded shape.
I always thought I was very shallow w/ wide roots, but that's seeming to be at least slightly incorrect. There is slight puckering at the very center of the cups at the lace, and a lot along the sides. Slight quadboobing and interesting rolls under the arms. I tried the same bra in 30F where that was not a problem and was more comfortable, but the puckering is more pronounced (photos in profile). In both sizes the wires are about 1/2" too wide under the arms, and the cups pull me into an odd pyramid shape (I'm more 'wall-eyed'). It feels like they exacerbate the shallowness. Not sure if this is just what I should expect from an unlined bra. Hoping for a smoother, rounder, bottom supported shape, though tissue is quite soft so not sure if that's possible.
Hoping to learn what shape issues are causing the puckering and would be grateful for fit suggestions. Thanks!

helpfulThe cups are too projected, so the fabric is puckering because it's simply resting on top of your breast without compression/shaping (if that makes sense). Some less projected, non-molded bras you might try include Skarlett Blue Minx Unlined Balconette (1733100) or B.tempt'd By Wacoal Ciao Bella Balconette (953144).
