Bra fitting help » IMF sliding down, gap above breast, gore might not be flat, band slightly tight

Issue resolved
Too big, smaller size sits on edge of breast tissue.
Original problem
This bra seems to close, but I'm having issues.
The first being my infamous issue with wires not staying in IMF. This is less then other bras which sag about 2 inches down. This one only sags 1 inch down. I do not believe it is the band, as you can see the 34 is actually a bit tight. I also do not think it is projection, as I can never fill projected cups at the top. I believe it might be the wire, as I have wide roots.
The gore doesn't seem to be sitting flush but I can't be certain as it's a padded wire.
I also have a gap above my breast because my tissue is soft, and it just melts into the bottom of my cups.
The band is ever so slightly too tight, which for me is an issue because it can cause back pain.

helpfulI would say this bra is both too big in the cup and too tight in the band. If you want try in another size, I'd go for 34D+extender or 36C.

If those 34D bra measurements are accurate, it's showing that the band runs a full size tight, stretching to 32" rather than the expected 34-35". When the band is too small, it can cause the gore to lift as the cups are pulled flat and wide. Hence my suggestion for 34D+extender or simply sizing up to 36C.

Wow really? Almost every 34 band bra I have measured isn't 34 inches long. Unless I'm somehow doing it wrong? I put down the measuring tape and lay the band above it, make sure it's flat and check the number. Is there another way to do it? I could measure it again to check.
If the band really does run small I'd rather try a 36C, I'll see if I can try before you buy order it as well. -
Yeah, you can browse measurements by size on Bratabase, and the average 34DD band stretches to 34.01": https://www.bratabase.com/browse/by-size/34:5/measurements/?filter_by=stretched_band_length&order_by=stretched_band_length&style=&hide_discontinued=False. It should in theory match the band size. If you look at average numbers for Maidenform, they don't seem to run small (but some brands are inconsistently sized): https://www.bratabase.com/browse/maidenform/size-range/34DD/measurements/?filter_by=stretched_band_length&order_by=stretched_band_length&system=US&style=&name=&hide_discontinued=False

I thought this was a different bra, oops. I just returned this one yesterday, so I can't remeasure it. However if it's more then just my measurement, then yeah it runs small.
Ooh yeah I'm seeing all my measurements are around that, minus the Chantelle Norah, that one is all the way up to 36! That might be why it doesn't hurt me. Sadly I still need the extender on it because it pulls back in. I need to post a fit on that one when I can.

So I no longer am wanting this bra, and found the solution on my other bra. The answer was I need a 34 band with 1 extra hook and the bras stay in my IMF!
Hello again bananaboats! I actually tried this bra in a 34D, and did a measurement/fit test on it. You can find that info here: http://bra.pe/X8Bb/.
The issue with this bra in a smaller size is the gore doesn't tack, it floats above my chest. Which shocked me, that's not an issue I normally have. On top of that the wire was sitting on my breast tissue on the sides. I thought maybe going up a cup would fix that. I guess not, this bra just doesn't fit me properly.
I'm curious what a few other people say, before I close this one.
