I spent all of my teens thinking I had horrible, saggy boobs and a tiny ribcage. My first ... bra was a 32C in middle school and I quickly settled into 34Ds and then 32DDS from Victoria's Secret. When I gained another cupsize and their full-coverage 32DDDs wanted to put my breasts in my armpits, I knew it was time for an alternative.
I have very tall roots, almost up to my collarbone, but low-set breasts - they aren't particularly pendulous, but sit close to my elbows and always have! My roots are also quite narrow, with immediate projection at the band, and my tissue is on the soft side. Just for fun, I also have a ribcage flare that is right where the bottom elastic of the band sits, so that makes band fit hard.
For a long time, I had settled into a 30FF and found an almost perfect fit in Fantasie unlined, but since then I have gained weight and am struggling again. I'm still on the hunt for something with narrow wires that doesn't gape and provides a lot of lift - ideally while being molded with tons of immediate projection!
