This was my first Fauve and my first half-cup, and it started my obsession with both. I now realize it never really fit me well, but it still makes me sigh just to look at it..

Being of the Summer/Patsy family, it's quite shallow at the wire and moderately wide/shallow throughout. Wires are stiffer than some other Fauves. Band is very, very stretchy. The decoration shows through just about everything. It makes a better boudoir bra, except in winter.

So beautiful! I will be sad to see it go.

Holy moly.

Yeah, you want cleavage? This'll give you cleavage. I thought for sure this would be too shallow for me or would mangle my squishy breasts, but it works like a charm.

My only complaints are:

1) Based on reviews, I expected the band to run tight. I sister sized over from my current 32G to a 34FF. Turns out it wasn't necessary. This feels best on the tightest hook, but dealing with that is better than dealing with international exchanges. So a word of advice: Go to +1 or maybe +2 on this bra, but not +3.

2) I'm short with high-set breasts, so the upper corners are barely ... clearing my armpits. This is more an issue with my body type than the bra itself, but it's worth noting for my fellow hobbits.

3) Why, OH WHY, don't bra companies make wardrobe staples in (lots and lots of shades of) fleshtones? I got stuck with the ivory because it was all I could get in this size, and even on my pasty skin, its going to show under everything--at least at the armpit of the one-shouldered dress I bought it for. What is the POINT of this color?

TL;DR: Thumbs up on the bra, thumbs down on the color, don't go crazy sizing up in the band.

UPDATE: After wearing the bra for a day, it is definitely too loose in the band and too tall at the armpits. In fact, there's now a nice little right-angle crease in the corner of each cup from my arms crushing them down (which went away after washing, but still). Somewhat uncomfortable, but not a deal breaker in the world of strapless for me. I do wonder if a 32G would dig too much.

The Fantasie side-support bras were the first correctly sized bras I had. Being somewhat narrow and somewhat deep, they were on the right track, but not quite perfect. Still, great quality bras for people who want balconettes.

This bra's cups measure identically to an Ewa Michalak 70GG--a bra that is, in theory, two volumes larger. But aside from the wacky sizing, this is a pretty nice bra, and the gore is reasonably low and narrow--I don't seem to spill out or twist it. The fabric is heavy, so it.won't quite fulfill my summer unlined bra fantasies, but it's certainly a nice break from the foam domes. I may reorder it in a 30FF.

Note: It has somewhat flimsy wires and a very stretchy band; the 30 fit my 32" ribcage very comfortably.

I bought this here on Bratabase when I was flailing around desperately trying to figure out my Comexim size (after my original Irish coffee failed, but I couldn't figure out HOW it failed). This...just...no. The cup is way too deep and too tall.

This was my favorite bra for a very long time. It's a touch to shallow at the wire, and my close-set breasts caused the top button to break in half, but it was never uncomfortable and only slightly quaddy.

It's no longer the right size, and I'm more discriminating about fit now, but for a non-Polish half-cup, this was fantastic.

Plus, those colors! How can you not smile?

Best fit I've gotten from this bra so far, but still not perfect. Feels equally comfortable on the tightest and loosest hooks, and definitely more secure in the cross-back strap position.

The fact is, it's just NOT short-person friendly, and the gore is way too wide for me. This may be the best I can do in this bra.

I'll have to take it for a test workout before I decide whether or not to keep it.

Gorgeous to look at, very comfortable, and thiiiiiis close to fitting. If it hadn't fit on the tightest hook right away, and if I didn't have such narrow shoulders, I would have kept it. I ended up exchanging it for the 30G because the cup measurements seemed so similar. Fingers crossed that the exchange pays off. Seems like it will be a good fit otherwise.

I acquired this in a swap, knowing I needed to play around with my size and having worried myself into a case of letterphobia as weight lifting continues to push me toward a size 34/75 ribcage. And, well...
