A really nicely made bra and I like the idea of it, but it was just too wide and shallow for me when I first got it as a 32HH/J. I'm a 30H/HH now anyway so it's way too big, but at the time I quadboobed in it yet there was a lot of fabric on the side. If it was more suited to centre fullness and projected breasts, I'd really like the bra, but it just doesn't work for me and I doubt it would in any size.

Edited review for April 2014:
When I bought it, the gore was too wide and I got quadboob, so my mum stitched the gore and made it narrower. This was a good solution for a while, but while wearing it, I would still occasionally quad. The style is just too shallow and not good for FOT types like myself. I found the band quite stretchy, and didn't think it was firm unless I had it on the tightest hook. I love the yellow colour, the shape it gives is lovely and round, and the broderie anglaise is gorgeous, but the cut of the Lucy just isn't for my narrow/projected/close-set boobs. I would recommend this for shallower, full-on bottom types, needing medium to wide wires.

I've wanted a soft cup for a while, mainly to laze around the house in, maybe the occasional nap. I ended up going for the Rosie, and I love it. Ideally, I'd have the 30HH, maybe even a 30H, but those sizes had sold out on Figleaves and they had the 32HH on sale for £12 and it was more than double that everywhere else, even ebay. Since it's just a sleep bra, I figured it didn't matter if it was a little big.
Appearance:
A lot of soft cups look a bit too plain and maternity for my liking, but this colour really stood ... out to me. I love the magenta with black lace. The shape is much better than I thought it would be. Since it's wireless, I thought it might be a little droopy, but the shape the Rosie gives is quite nice and natural. Although slightly pointy, it is like an uplifted teardrop shape.
Fit:
The band is a bit big as I thought it would be, but because it's a sleep bra, I don't mind it being loose. Since there are 3 rows of hooks it feels a bit more supportive even if it's not firm. There is quite a bit of room in the cup itself, both on the side and at the top. Even though the cup is too wide, it doesn't pull my breasts to the side at all. Despite the too big band and cup, I'm actually amazed at the shape this bra gives. It is super comfortable and I'd happily wear it to the supermarket or hanging out at a friend's house.

Really lovely bra. I love the colourway and styling, very burlesque/boudoir, but it is still comfortable to wear during the day. Having said that, the lace/ribbon does show through thin materials.
Everything about this bra is not only pretty, but comfortable. The band is stretchy perhaps a little too stretchy... it can feel like it's not being supportive, but it is. However, where possible, I would size down in the band for the extra support.
The cups are a little too open for me so my breasts don't feel super secure, but it is a padded demi balconette, so that's to be expected. It does separate my breasts a bit too much for my liking, but the gore does tack. The wires are probably a little too wide as well.
For softly padded bras, I think I prefer the Comexim style as it is a bit more of a plunge.

One of the most beautiful bras I've ever come across. I love the navy and cream colourway and the lace is gorgeous.
At the moment, this bra is too big. I am currently around a 30HH, but when I wore this bra, I was about a 32HH.
Good support. Great shape, very rounded. Open cups so good for lower necklines and FOT breasts. The material is fantastic quality. I love the straps. They are slightly padded but they are not super wide which often bras in larger cup sizes have, and the material feels lovely against the skin. I never wore this bra, although I really wanted ... to have an occasion as it is just to gorgeous. I tried it on multiple times when deciding which bra to wear for a day, and while it would look great, once I put on a top, I felt like it made my boobs look a bit too out there. I love a nice rounded shape, because my breasts are quite FOT, high and close-set, but this bra just makes them a bit too in-your-face for me.
The only cons with this bra are minor and really my own preferences. Because of the lower neckline and balconette cut/width of the wires, I don't feel like my breasts are very strapped down and kept close to my chest. Rather, this bra is a bit cake-on-a-plate cleavagey which has its place, but it is not super practical. There are also only two rows of hooks to fasten the bra, and I think it would be better if there were three.

This colourway is beautiful... the green and orange looks stunning. Even though it was a bad fit, it was very comfortable. I can see this style being good for day to day wear, as the material does not irritate at all. The underwires do not come up high so shouldn't poke those with a short torso.
Unfortunately, I got quadboob in this bra, wrinkling at the base of the cups, one wrinkle down the top half in the centre and the centre gore wouldn't go flat. I was a little surprised as the narrow centre gore is one of the reasons I purchased this bra ... (apart from the beautiful print). I think the material (which is a bit stiffer than my usual lace/mesh underwires) just weren't suited to my full-on-top breasts. Even in the next cup size, I would still get the wrinkling at the bottom.
It does stretch quite a bit, so I'd recommend possibly going down a band size. This one could be stretched up to 35-36 inches, so if you like a snug band, I'd go down to a size 30 band.

-I filled out the "number of hooks" as just 1, as it as a clip fastening, rather than hook and eye. Not sure how accurate the cup depth measurement can really be since swimwear stretches much more than bras.-
The design itself is lovely. The lining is so soft. The straps are quite wide, so some may not like that, but they are super comfortable and supportive. They don't look dowdy at all, they look more sporty. The underwires are very sturdy, especially for swimwear, so if you find Freya's to be a little bendy/soft, the Bravissimo ones are much better.

** This bra now doesn't fit me at all, as I am about a 30G now. 5/5/16 **
Utterly beautiful bra. I love the embroidery so much and the colour is gorgeous. The colour is probably my favourite colour for lingerie (a kind of deep magenta). The quality of the bra is perfect. Avocado is quite expensive compared to other brands, but I feel like the bras are completely worth it.
I love that the cups are quite sheer, with only the embroidery over it. The sheer mesh itself is soft but firm, retaining its shape really well. While the lace has no stretch in it, the ... edge of the cup does, meaning there is a bit of give in there for those in between sizes or for those with a lot of upper fullness. The band is very soft and comfortable and I would say is less firm/runs more generous than the Avocado Caprice A cut and Nina K cut bras.
The Avocado A cut is really lovely. It gives a nice rounded profile, quite natural but still uplifted and supported. I tend to prefer this shape as I am quite FOT, narrow and close-set, and anything too projected or rounded can make my boobs look like orbs and a bit too in-your-face. While the A cut is uplifted and rounded, the construction anchors my boobs wonderfully, making me feel secure. I consider the A cut the perfect everyday style, and I wear it (in the Caprice) to work every day.
The cups can be perhaps a tad tall for those whose breasts sit high on the chest (which mine do), though, so it may not be ideal to wear with low scoop necks. Personally, I don't find the cups too tall in the right size, though, you can see a peek of the lace edge of the cup with a couple of my tops, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Huge fan of Avocado quality. I love this bra. I have this bra in other colours but this one fits a bit smaller in the cup than the black. This blue one fits like a 30FF.
Gives a really nice rounded shape, kind of cakes on a plate. Wires aren't too wide, cups have decent depth. Nice coverage.
