75K - Ewa Michalak » Smn For Me

Size 75K. I’m a UK 32KK/34K. I have narrow shoulders, narrow roots, closet set breasts, and fuller on top breasts. I have two 75K’s in PLM cut that fit perfect. The SMN cut for me is a tad small, but still comfortable enough to wear. The band is a smidge more snug compared to the PLM’s as well. When I order SMN cut in the future, I will be getting a 75KK or 80K.

36FF - Elomi » Charley Underwire Stretch Lace Plunge Bra (4382)

It was recently suggested to me in the ABTF FB group to try this bra and of course I did and I immediately bought like 4 other colorways. This is absolutely the best fitting bra I've ever had since my reduction almost 9 years ago! The gore tacks, the cups are the perfect depth, the wire follows my IMF, the straps don't hurt and the gore isn't too tall either. I'm over the moon. I actually feel sexy in this bra too!

- Congrats on this bra win! I also still like Elomi bras after my breast reduction. I recommend the Lucie, it also has stretch lace.

After going through Bratabase I came across some old posts from 11 years ago or so and found the “strapgate” incident with Ewa Michalak. It seems the tightness of bands was a significant issue between Polish and British/American bra fitters (aside from the main problem being straps being too wide set, but that’s not what this post is about). It ... got me thinking about my own preference with that. I like +2 inches, as recommended by the A Bra that Fits calculator. I measure 24F/FF but it suggests 26E/F for comfort, and I am very happy with my sister size. It’s supportive, makes me feel contained (which is very important to me, my breasts aren’t too firm and they bounce around when I don’t wear a bra) and the band doesn’t ride up, which was a problem with 28 bands. I don’t think I could tolerate a 24 band! I actually have to break in my Comexim half cups because they do feel SNUG brand new. So a 24 band sounds like torture to me, but there are many women out there who prefer +0 inches. Everyone is different and thus band tightness preference will vary. What do you prefer and why? I like that everyone has their own reasons for choosing a size over another.

- that's funny, I gained a lot of weight, but yet just went up one band size (I actually then lost the weight again, lol). Sooo, I think band size is highly a personal thing. Since when I gained weight, I still liked a very firm band.
  
  But when I have less fat, I still don't go that much smaller!!
- If you go down a band size you need to make up for it by going up a cup size. It's sister sizing. You CAN choose your sister size if it more comfortable for your own preferences. But you cannot choose a 34D over a 32D. A 32D is a 34C. It would be too small in the cup.
  
  You can do this also if you want a wider wire bra but have narrow roots.
  
  It's not just preferences. It's how a bra fits/is supposed to fit.

ack my old reliable is discontinued

I have grown again a little, but I can still fit my 32JJ tangos pretty well - and it looks like they finally discontinued tango!! anyone know of anything that fits similarly? I'm afraid to order more Ewa because if I grow a little more i might need to go up a size there too

Hi! So I wear my Comexim 55G 3HC and they’re perfect, underwire-wise. But I do spill out a bit, especially on my bigger breast and if I exaggerate my straight posture (shoulder blades almost touching). I assume my slight spillage (not obvious, even with tight tops) comes from what the half cup is supposed to do, right? I have found ... very few Comexim 3HC in 55H to compare measurements to, and the ones that I have found have at least +2 cm for cup depth, which makes me think it might be too much. My 55Gs are the only ones on Bratabase where the depth is 16 cm… other 55Gs 3HCs are like 18 cm for some reason. If I size up, I’m sure the wires will be wider and the marks will no longer perfectly line up with my IMF. I do feel a TEENY bit of pain on my larger breast’s side today. I just took off my bra and the underwire does not seem to be on breast tissue… which is weird. I’m not at a point in my cycle where this could happen. Should I size up? Do y’all have days where your perfect fitting bra is a little off? I hate the idea of gapping on my smaller side and I love the cakes on a plate look I guess I just need reassurance that what I have now is okay lol.

- gmac6991 My UK size is 28FF. I have several 3hc bras (28G/60HH) from BOB & Comexim directly. Like you, I spill a bit on my larger side but not enough that shows through clothes.
  
  I just tried a 28GG 3hc Lorena from BOB. Interestingly, I still have a bit of a quad-boob effect on my larger side. I worry if I size up more in the cup my smaller side will be swimming in space. The wires are fine, the gore tacks, although the band on this style is very snug compared to my other 3hc styles.
  
  As far as measurement discrepancies - I find myself reviewing the instructions almost every time. I'm not sure others do, especially concerning depth, cup height, & cup separation, etc.
  
  In the end, it is always a personal preference for dealing with asymmetry. Do I fit the larger side or the smaller side? The 3hc has helped me somewhat in meeting a middle ground. If that makes sense! Lol
- justapac thank you so much for your input, I like that we both have a similar experience with Comexim’s 3HCs. And I feel the same way about following Bratabase’s guidelines for measuring bra dimensions. I measured each bra very carefully and multiple times, which is why finding 55Gs and 55Hs having the same 18 cm cup depth has been so confusing to me. I’m not going to conclude that those users measured wrong, but it does make me wonder if the details of the instructions were looked at when taking measurements. Thanks so much for your comment! I went for a bra fitting last Friday & was put in a 32G for bras with stretch and a 34G for bras without a ton of stretch. I got the Chantelle Norah 34G and a wacoal perfect primer 34F and both fit perfectly. When I say I feel like someone completely different in bras that actually fit, I mean ... it.. I don't even feel like the same person anymore. It's weird to explain. A proper fitting bra is one of the best things to ever happen to me. With this being said, I now have 2 bras that actually fit me so I need a few more. I'm looking at fantasie, Freya, natori, and bare necessities brand bare bras. I know that fantasie, Freya, and natori will be shallow enough but I can find absolutely nothing on bare.

Does anyone know if bare necessities bras are wide/shallow or narrow/projected?

I'm open to recommendations on t shirt bras, "sexy" bras, and wireless bras as well.

Ps- Chantelle C jolie T shirt bra was a really great fit as well in 34G

(3 part cup bras or seamless only because I have soft tissue and pendulous side set breasts)

30D - Natori » Statement Full Fit Bra (746211)

What an odd bra. I like the soft fabric a lot. It just flattens me out in such a weird way, I really don't like how it looks from the side and angle. I think the wires are just too wide and go too far back around the sides. Maybe if they were more curved it would be better. The top digs in after major swoop and scoop and gives some quad boob, didn't get a picture. Definitely returning this one.

- Shallow & Projected. I'm not good enough to tell which you are or what's wrong with this bra by looking but if it flattens you you're probably a little more projected than the cup. Natori if I'm not mistaken is for those with more shallow breasts and has really wide wires.
- That's what I thought, I'm still figuring out my shape and I was curious to try a shallower cup, too shallow for me

28GG - Comexim- Sold By Breakoutbras » Lorena Half Cup 3hc (CML

I received this bra today from BOB in exchange for a final attempt at Panache Ana (I surrender. 🏳️ The Ana is *not* for me).

First Impression of this Comexim Lorena - Ooh La La! Gorgeous out of the package! Elegant purple floral lace overlying a black backdrop. I couldn't wait to try it on. So much so that I ... broke the rules and tried it on *before* measuring. I knew I wouldn't wait to wash/line dry & then measure, so my numbers are after 15 minutes of wear.

Whoa! The band is SNUG! I had to pull it down low on my waist to clasp it, & even then I thought I might have to clasp it from the side. Once on, I was aware of the snugness but didn't feel any discomfort per se. I raised my arms, touched my toes, shook & shimmied a bit, and felt secure without pain or poking. I'm wondering if the snugness is due to the black color of the cups/band.

This is one cup size up from my usual size in the 3hc from BOB of 28G (60HH Comexim). Still, I have a smidge of quad-boob effect on my larger side - but improved from the 28G size. (It's probably time to remeasure). The 3hc lightly padded style seems to accommodate my asymmetry, which is true in this 28GG size as well. I shortened the strap slightly on my smaller side.

A final note on the fabulous customer service from BOB. I had already initiated an exchange for another 28FF - Cleo » Blossom (10581) when I saw an ad for Comexim- Sold By Breakoutbras for Lorena on IG. I reached out to their customer service and a “re-exchange” was seamlessly made. This was NOT the 1st time they have done something similar for me.
