eBay rant ...

I just got home from work after 9pm (ugh) and the bra I was waiting for from the UK had arrived. It came from eBay, from a business/retail seller I've bought other bras from before. I wrote to the seller a few times days before I ordered asking nicely if the bra could be packed with extra care, either in a box (UK retailers hardly ever do this) or with paper padding in the cups, because it has molded cups. I always write in advance to avoid damage in postage which is common with bras in plastic bag envelopes. The seller was nice about it and said no problem. I repeated the request in the PayPal message box when I paid.

It arrived today with the cups inverted, squeezed into a tiny plastic envelope. I'm tired and fuming. It's too late/dark to take pics of the packaging and I don't even feel like opening it. It should never have been packaged like that with the cups pushed inside out. Arrgh. I have been waiting for I think over 2 weeks now and could really have used this bra for work.

Does anyone else have crappy luck with bras being packaged poorly? It seems to happen to me a lot.

I had the SAME bra sent from a different retailer last month with the same request and it arrived beautifully. But it was the wrong size and I don't wear it, so I really wanted to replace it with a better size.

I'm not going to mention the seller here since I haven't even contacted them about it yet. I hope they'll make this right. I just had to vent!

  • Do the cups seemed dented or otherwise damaged? I've gotten padded bras folded into themselves sort of like fitted sheets from various sellers but I've never had an issue with the cups being damaged in the time it's taken them to be shipped. I don't store them like that of course!

  • I also meant to add its frustrating to have specifically asked and have them not arrive as expected!
