Finally got my bras

Over the past 2 months, I ordered a bunch of bras and yesterday I finally picked them up. My size has been fluctuating so much that I was super nervous to get them. My boobs have been shrinking lately and I am so thrown off by sizing at the moment. I got 2 Comexim plunges, a Freya half cup and my first unlined Panache. I have only had a quick chance to try them on and thought I'd share some first impressions.

People have been talking about Comexim inconsistencies recently. For sure mine are both too tight in the band. I haven't measured them yet, but they are noticeably tighter than my four other 60s and I was quadding like crazy until I added an extender. I went down a cup size on Anna's advice and she was probably right volume-wise, but I think in my "right" size, the plunge cut isn't perfect for me. 2HCs are too shallow/wide and 3HCs don't have enough apex projection, so the plunge is still my best option. I'll have to wear them for longer to know for sure and will likely keep them anyway. But wow, Ingrid is the softest bra ever and I'm so glad I finally ordered her. I was beating myself up about spending the money until I felt it :) I also got Victoria as a plunge. My only regret there is that after 3 other tries with Victoria, this time I didn't ask for the eyelash lace to be removed. It's not symmetrical (argh) and it extends way too far above the cup which is already too tall for me, so it will stick out of every top I own. Another tight band. Bands are my biggest wildcard for Comexim, but I prefer tighter to looser since an extender is an easy fix. This reminds me that I need to finish writing up my mega Victoria 3HC review from last year.

Moving on, I am perplexed by the Panache Floris. I got a 30E and I think my boobs just don't cooperate with unlined bras. They are so soft/deflated that just swooping slightly differently can totally affect the cup shape. I think I need cups that are technically too small on paper to stop any jiggly feeling. The top edge of the lace cuts in with my shoulders tensed, but the lace flutters when I relax or slouch. There is some wrinkling in the cup where the strap tension is pulling it. The jury is out until further diagnostics. I am not giving up on it just yet.

I am so sad about my Freya Patsy half cup. I ordered it almost 2 months ago when my 30FF finally became noticeably too gapey. I got a 28FF which I thought would fit, in the light pink colorway I've been wanting forever. It was super hard to find in that size and I had to scour the web and pay more than I wanted. Patsy has been the one bra I have consistently re-bought in all sizes (32FF, 30G, 30FF) as I lost weight. I think the pink runs a little larger in the cup than the black colorway, because it doesn't fit much better than my 30FF black. Listing coming soon.

Well that's my mini adventure so far. I have 3 more bras coming this week, so keep an eye on my listings for more NWT bras coming soon in the 28FF/60H/28F/30E/30F range :)
