Hasn't set fit

This bra is supposedly notoriously hard to fit, but before I knew that, I found it on clearance at Nordstrom Rack. It was not only delightfully cheap, it fit me very well. I consider my normal size to be 30G, and tried this in a 32G and 30GG. Both fit, but the 32-band was more comfortable while the 30GG gore tacked better. I chose the smaller band and wore it with an extender.

I have very soft, pendulous tissue and high-set roots. The wires were always a little too wide and too tall for me, so poked my armpit once I tightened the straps up nearly all the way to fit in my IMF. But if I scoop and swooped in an East/West direction, the cups gave me great coverage and a smooth shape that I really liked.

Fast forward to after wearing it once or twice (edited for clarity), and some issues began. First, I learned that the very low gore, although I loved it in theory because it was so comfortable and out of the way, isn't right for my shape or soft tissue. I now know that I can't wear plunges, period. The issue in Neve became evident after wearing the bra for a while because any vigorous activity or bending over to pick something up meant my boobs would spill out over the gore in the middle and then just look all squished down. I constantly had to readjust. The more I wore the bra, the more this would happen right away.

After wearing it about 10 times (edited for clarity), I noticed that the bra was getting discolored on the cup edges. Because the wings were too high and poking my pits, it was probably sweat and deodorant causing it. But I did handwash regularly like my other bras which never have this problem except maybe some white marks from deodorant on a black bra. I have Neve in the floral print colorway which is white inside with purple straps. The cups have patches of really gross discoloration on the edges now and I really didn't wear that bra that much. I never really wear it any more.

Interestingly, I consider myself to be even, maybe slightly FoT, but never suffered from the bottom cup wrinkling so common with this bra. So I would recommend it for people with soft tissue whose shape or close-set breasts might enable them to wear plunges. I think the bottom cup wrinkling effect is not as big a problem for soft tissue.

In short, Neve is a cheap addition to your bradrobe if, like me, you are having trouble finding any sort of smooth t-shirt bra that gives a clean silhouette, even for short wears.

This bra is not owned any more

Just have to let you know, for a giggle - i was reading quickly and everywhere you said "wears" i read as "years" and I'm thinking, how on earth can you be wearing a 10 year old bra? So i finally looked more closely - too funny

That's too funny. I guess 10 years *would* explain the staining, but I swear it's still like new!

Oh I did that too! Was thinking that some discolouration after a few years wasn't really that bad!

    I cannot wear plunges either
