*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend Comfortable, but a bit big. The band shifts around when I move so I definitely need a smaller band size. The cup is slightly too large while also not being quite wide enough. Despite the size issues, this one is very comfortable for extended wear so I'll probably keep it.
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted by a friend This bra fits better than most of my Adore Me bras. My one issue is that the ribbon band folds up and then digs into my skin. If it was simply an elastic band I don't think it would have the same problem.
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend This one is sublime. I really really love it. The fit is great, it's super comfy. I wish it hadn't been discontinued!
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend I really wish this one fit better! It's one of my favorite styles from the bras my gal pal gave me. Super cute! Other than spilling out of the top, it's pretty comfortable. Band runs the full length of the bra, which is always a plus for me
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend Pretty comfy, but the band is a bit loose. I have some spillage in the center, and some loose fabric where the cup meets the strap. The underwires dig into my armpits so this is not a bra I like to wear for long.
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend Way too big! Gapes at the gore, doesn't support breast tissue. I might wear this if I had nothing else to wear, but don't expect a good fit or look.
*All my Adore Me bras were gifted to me by a friend I have this bra in four colors! Despite the fit on the cup not being quite right it's pretty comfortable. There's an odd problem for me where I get some spillage out of the cup, and still have loose fabric towards the top of the cup where it meets the strap.
I would consider this bra to have a high apex as the cups meet the band fairly high. This bra is very comfortable and I like the longline band. The cups stretch and provide good support. However, they are a little too shallow and cut into my breast tissue slightly.
At first I really loved how comfortable this bra was but it has stretched out and no longer offers enough support for my breasts. The cups are also too padded which causes me to spill out of them.
I got this bra specifically because the reviews indicated that it was big in cup and band, since Adoreme is know to run small in band and cup I figured this was a good shot at getting something good. And i was kinda right.
The fabric is very smooth and comfortable. The cups are titled slightly to far away from each other but there is enough fabric to neatly pull the cups and stitch in place. The wires are quite long... however they are metal... so I just bent them to be a bit narrower and seems to be working for me. Going to keep this bra and at the gore so that it is more narrow.
* sigh * well guess balconette with adoreme is a bust for these boobs. First tried a 30ddd and there wasn't enough room, sized up and it would have worked with a few alterations but I don't feel like dealing with that and will just be sending it back.
Need a bit of help ordering some bras. I have done a bit of research on here and it appears when you convert from 30 E UK to 30DDD US you loose about an inch of depth from 9" to 8". I just received my order which was a 30DDD US and this was the case. My go to bra is a 30E UK and has a depth of 9 but this new on is 30DDD US and is only 8". [For those of you who might ask that's what it was converted to in US increments.30DDD/G US. But G usually isn't an option to buy]
What should I order when 30E UK isn't an option? Should I try a 32DD US?
What sort of shape characteristics do you have that you have to accommodate?
Wide and FoB, I should add that this is for a balconette which I think is where the depth difference is coming from
Every brand and even different styles within that brand will have different dimensions for band length, cup width, depth and height. It best to know which measurements you need and then look for bras/sizes that match.
It's not as easy as converting;)
thats why you should look for the bras here and see what ppl measure the depth as and how the shape looks on real people
dbmamaz Yep that's what I'm doing. But a bit challenging when fee are listed for their site so trying to go by type.
It's a great bra but completely the wrong size for me. So bummed! Strapless, very supportive long-line bra with slightly sticky cups to keep it from slipping, although it's hardly necessary because it's so supportive. Also very pretty navy color and lace pattern.
I ordered this bra, but accidentally ordered the wrong size. I only ever tried it on once (the tags are still on it). I meant to send it back but I got caught up with exams and work and missed the deadline for it. It has a contour plunge and the fabric is a polyester/spandex/nylon blend with lace & satin overlay on the cups. It is from AdoreMe where it has a five star review. The straps are completely adjustable (they each have one small rhinestone at the base of the cup) and it has a pretty standard double row hook and eye closure.
