The Bali Double Support Wire-Free Bra (3820) is of a very soft, comfortable material and feels nice and comfortable when worn. It is also very supportive, despite not having annoying underwires. The fit is true to size, there is no looseness or tightness. The band is snug as should be, the cups are of adequate volume, and the coverage is excellent. There is great lift when wearing this bra, as well as comfort. It comes in many colours, and the size determines what colours are available in that size. A great bra to have, even for those with large busts. Looks pretty and with a satin finish as well.
The band on this bra is cut straight from the fabric. There is a hem on the bottom but not the top. I wonder if that will be an issue long term with wear.
I bought this with the hopes of getting a retro 40s silhouette. It simply doesn’t work for my shape. Quality seems good. Styling is old-fashioned, which is expected.
Been wearing this for a long while. Feels comfortable since the band is not tight for me. Cups are soft and will mould to the breast shape. They are a bit small and might be sitting on some tissue on the sides. Breasts are not fully supported.
Fits ok, nowhere near as much support as the regular Comfort Revolution (3484)- I thought crossing the convertible straps in back would give more support and allow for narrower straps than the 3484, but I didn't find this to be the case. Not terrible, but not what I'm used to with the other one.
If there is a problem with the fit I do not mention, please let me know! I know this bra is too big on me, but it is soooo breathable, it's my backup for when I need to wash my Bali classic, which is a 32 C and fits me waaay better. It doesn't go too high up in the armpits which is great for me. I have wide roots, even though the cups are big it still stays in place, just because it's a good fit for me. If you are tired of boob sweat or you are looking for excellent support, this bra and the Bali Flower (Bali Classic)
Only a subtle bullet, and it puts my breasts closer together so my arms don't crush them. I kind of like the pointiness - even with t shirts that are meant to be worn with round, moulded cups. I feel like such a badass with pointy boobs! It does cut into my breasts, but it's the best fitting bra I've ever had. It is nice and low in the armpits, so it doesn't even dig in. It is nice and supportive and gives me a flattering silhouette.
This is a consequence on how encapsulation pointy bras work. They channel all in the cups from all directions, upper portion included.
Doreen bras, the real ones, can be still found in your size range. By experience, they are deliciously pointy, durable, usable as daily wear and their design solves the described probem.
About this Bra This is an unpadded, seamed, underwire, full cup, vintage-styled (bullet) bra that is easily available and crazy cheap.
Purchasing: * $17.99 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe) * available only in black, white, and beige
Band: * One layer of a stretch mesh. * Wing support: boning. * Full band - band straight beneath wires * Back close with 3 columns of hooks.
Straps: * smooth, non-stretch satin * soft (don't stand up on their own) * full adjust * leotard back * CENTER PULL * FRONT ADJUST
Cups: * 2-seam (3-piece) full cup * unpadded, very flexible underwire with a deep U shape * Wire is advertised as having "cushion tip," but I can't feel anything ...special at the ends of the wires. * Inner, top edge of cup is a non-stretch seaming. Outer, top edge of cup is elastic that continues to the top of the band. * Top panel is non-stretch mesh (unlined). * Center panel is two layers of a non-stretch, opaque knit. * Lowest panel is one layer of a thicker, stiffer, non-stretch, opaque knit (unlined). * Soft cups (no padding or molding).
About Me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * average-set (one finger width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
Fit
Band: * length: back rides up * wings: good height
Gore: High but comfy. Tacks, spacing fine.
Straps: * Not too far apart * Adjust short enough, BUT already at shortest setting. Since they are non-stretch satin, this might be ok.
Cups: * Wires enclose tissue nicely. Smooth line on top of cup. * Super shallow at wire -- oodles of wrinkling. * Tiny bit too deep (small wrinkles at the apex). * Give a round, projected, pointy shape. A good pointy. Slightly wide shape, but better than most. Works well with my natural shape.
Appearance under Clothing: * Seams NOT visible under thin T-shirt, but apex wrinkles are. * Top edge of cups VERY visible under V-neck. * Very visible (~1 cm) in armholes of sleeveless shirt. And edge of straps visible on the back of shoulders (not in front).
Comfort & Fit Summary * Band too big, cups slightly too projected. * Want to try next band size smaller with the same-to-smaller cup. Unfortunately, the 32 is the smallest band made in this model. Read more 331 more words
Purchasing: * $18 on Amazon with free Prime shipping & returns (not Amazon Wardrobe) * non-neutral colors available
Band: * two layers of an opaque stretch knit * elastic at top of band * no seaming nor boning for wing support * stable, 3-piece band * back closure * 3 columns of hooks
Cups: * seamless full cup * unpadded underwire * stretch opaque knit outer fabric, less-stretchy opaque knit lining (all pieces) * soft cups (no molding or padding) ** Smoother seams than most bras. Cups look nearly identical inside and out.
Straps: * smooth elastic * partial adjust * straight back (not a leotard or V-back connection to the back of the band)
Fit About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * ...average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line) * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * short root height, average vertical placement * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame * front (anterior) rib flares
Band: * length: way too big * wings: too short, boobs escape * no axillary skin spillage
Gore: * tacks * height fine * separation fine
Cups: * gives a wide, flat shape * wide enough (SO RARE!!!) * cups wrinkle because they are too shallow, not too big
Straps: * too far apart (slip) * adjust short enough
Comfort & Fit Summary * band too big * flat shape * straps slip * cups too shallow * not worth trying other sizes (too shallow for my shape) Read more 157 more words
Bra "fits" but shapes my breasts like a hamburger bun - flat on the bottom, rounded on top, and very wide. So not flattering.

I bought this bra well before I learned about proper bra fit and learned my true size (32FF/34F depending on the bra).
This bra doesn't fit me properly for so many reasons. The band is too big, the gore floats an inch off my sternum (literally, an inch), and my tissues spills over the cups. It doesn't provide enough support for me and gives me a pointy shape under clothes. However, the saving grace for this bra was that the fabric is soft and forgiving. While it never truly fit me and I do not wear it anymore, it isn't actually uncomfortable.
slightly projected? very soft and comfy, provides the right amount of coverage for me, band is super stretchy and comfy but may run loose, could probably wear the smaller sister size 32D but it fits quite well so its really not worth exchanging. i'm thinking the cups may eventually roll outwards at the top due to the way the bra is constructed,
