I'm not sure what to say about this. I bought it at Burlington Coat Factory, very very cheap. It doesn't really give me the shape I like. Maybe I need fuller coverage for unlined bras? One of my biggest issues is the middle. I read up on shallow breasts, and mine are definitely at least semi shallow. They have a downslope and then the tissue starts. I like my bras to smooth out that line because I feel like it just looks really awkward or saggy otherwise. Anyway, I just feel like the demi shape makes them look worse. I'm normally good with demis though. The underwire seems to be the ...same length as my Freya, but it appears longer and reaches further beyond my breast tissue. I don't know how that's possible. I also feel like I have to rely on the straps for support. The band seems pretty big. I don't know, it's ok but I don't think it's for me. Kind of makes me sad because I recently found a 32ddd in b Temp'd by Wacoal, it gave me the look I was going for but I didn't have the cash. Time to save up I guess https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" />
Good things about this bra are that it is really comfortable and the band hasn't hurt me like the 34dd o__o
Probably not for me though. Doea anyone else with shallow breasts have these issues with unlined bras/demis? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 134 more words
Very comfortable, band doesn't ride up too badly, cups are a bit loose along the top edge but look fine under tops. My boobs try to escape above the gore if I lay on my side, which isn't the most ideal. However, I have very soft tissue. The straps are great, not super thick but nicely sturdy. The band has stretched out a bit, but I've owned this bra for about three years and worn it hard.
My even-fullness, stubbornly firm boobs don't fill out the bottom of this bra (orange in a cup?) and the lowest point of the underwire curve painfully digs into my ribs. I can't see myself wearing this bra for longer than a few minutes. It's pretty, though, and the gore tacks really well.
This bra is very soft and mostly comfortable but unfortunately takes on the color of dark shirts and becomes dingy very quickly. The band is very strong and resistant to overstretching and the straps are thick enough that they are comfortable and do not cut into the shoulders. My only complaint is that I wish it provided more lift. It is comfortable for supporting my breasts where they are, but I am much more bottom full than top full and could use a bit more lift!
When I am all in the bra I am definitely overflowing the cups. The straps are too wide for my frame and cut into my arms. The back rides up throughout the day and the band shifts and my breasts fall out of the cups with fairly minimal movement. I want to like this bra but doubt that even a larger cup/smaller band would address the issue of the straps.
Cute bra (in a tacky kinda way) no projection really, more of a flattened out shape (ok, maybe that's just my shape). But it is SO soft and COMFORTABLE! One of the few bras I can wear all day with no issues The band is probably a true 32, so it's big on me and I'll have problems when it stretches. I'll add measurements soon. Another good Nordy's Rack <$10 find, so I'm very happy with it.
The best fitting bra I've tried so far. The lining is soft, the lace is a little rough, but it is never directly against the skin so it isn't important. The band is very stretchy and comfortable, though, I am concerned it will stretch out quickly. The straps are almost completely adjustable, and the two ribbons that begin the strap have the added benefit of creating a better fit for the top of the cup. Unfortunately, the top of the cup is cut for a fuller on top breast.
The band slips a bit so I have to wear it on the tightest hook from the get-go, but the girls usually fit in with only a few adjustments through the day.
Just too narrow in the wire shape for me, and a little small overall. This is pretty close for me, in terms of sister sizes, but the shape isn't quite right. I'm too wide-set for it or something.
While this bra is absolutely darling, done in a sort of brassiere style, it fits larger than my other Bestey Johnson bra that's listed as the same size. I was slightly talked into buying it, but now that I think about it I never filled out the top of the cups properly even though I fill out the bottom. There's a noticable gap at the top. The band has also stretched out as quickly as my other bras I bought around the same time, which as I've stated is likely do to improper washing habits.
Unlike the other Betsey bra, though, it looks on it's own as cute as it did when it was brand new. If you're fuller at the top, it'd probably be more flattering!
When I first bought this bra, it fit very well, but again, I should have paid better attention to it's washing needs and not washed it in a machine. (Even on a cold setting in a garment bag - should have at least been doing a delicate cycle! Permanent press aint good enough.) The band has stretched out quite a bit already (though I have been hang drying it) and the underwires are beginning to poke me in the sternum pretty badly - by the end of the day the spot is red and sore. Such a shame, because this bra is a darling design.
Main con besides my inability to take care of things is that, even if you did a machine wash on a proper delicate cycle, lint from any other garments gets trapped under the top layer of soft mesh which, in the light pink color, shows pretty obviously.
When I first got this bra I was SO EXCITED that I was a 32DD again because I had "lost" my 34D/32DD chest after an extended period of time of being in the hospital in 1999. My stay in the hospital after having a ruptured appendix left me with a "34B", and by 2010 I had become so "deflated" that I couldn't even fill out a 34A/32B push-up bra. But then by September of 2010 my best guy friend had fallen in love with me, so he prayed for God to give me bigger boobs because he knew I'd wanted them bigger (I had girl "friend" at the ...time that made fun of my chest and my push-up bras OFTEN), and he wanted more to have fun with after we were married. LOL And- WONDER of WONDERS- in six weeks I went from not being able to fill out a 34A/32B push-up bra to a BEAUTIFUL 32DD. It was a TOTAL and COMPLETE MIRACLE!!! Nothing in my diet had changed. My level of activity hadn't changed. LOL As a matter of fact, my breasts were FULLER the very next morning after his prayer, and I wasn't even due for my period! It was SO AMAZING!
Anyhoo, by the end of six weeks I DEFINITELY NEEDED new bras, as I had eventually had to buy an inexpensive 34C bra, which only lasted me like two weeks before it was useless (my nipples kept peeking out the top and the underwires were digging SO PAINFULLY into the sides of my breasts- NO BUENO). So, I went to Nordstrom for a NEW proper fitting and some bras to accommodate my seemingly unstoppable, bourgeoning breasts. I fit PERFECTLY (I mean I packed it ALL in COMFORTABLY) into a simple, unlined 32DD with underwire. GLORY.
Well, I happened to prefer lightly lined bras with molded cups, and at the time the only bras they had like that, that fit me comfortably, was the this Betsey Johnson. At first this bra was DREAM COME TRUE, because it was simply the most comfortable bra I'd ever worn. I felt like clouds were holding me up. It was so wonderful. But in only a month's time I started to fill out over the top of the cups (my nipple was peeking out), and the bra seemed to FLATTEN ME OUT when I would wear it. I mean literally, my friend's sports bra brought and kept me up front more than this thing. It was HORRIBLE. It was actually making my chest look flat from the side, and yet from the front my boobs looked very wide and full. I didn't understand what was going on. When I would hold my beautiful breasts up myself and bring them forward, I had quite a chest profile, but in this bra I looked big and wide from the front, and taped down from the side.
As time went on the band stretched SO MUCH (and I babied these bras). I could never get the straps short enough for me to get any actual lift anymore. The wires would slide up and dig painfully into my breast tissue. Then my breasts oddly seemed to literally grow closer together, which made this bra even MORE painful, because the center gore that once fit nicely between my wider-set boobies could only now dig into the new tissue growth because the wires went so high and were spaced too wide for that development. LOL I actually thought that with the new tissue development the bra would stop sliding up- NOPE. Sadly, it just got more and more painful. In order for my breasts to get any lift, and to be up front where they're supposed to be the gore had to dig into them, and the cups themselves just flattened my chest and forced my breasts out to spill out the top leaving my nipples to once again peek out.
Pretty much after the first month it seemed to become a battle between my bodies "developments and changes" and the bras dimensions. In the end, the seams held up VERY WELL on it, but it lost its battle with my body and was laid to rest. Read more 590 more words
I so apologize. Yes, I know I haven't added any bras that have fit me correctly. But that's why I'm on this site. I am searching for a bra that fits me correctly. And at this time this bra and a pink version of it are the only bras I own that even KINDA fit. I also had two 34DD's that a friend gave me, but sadly they fit waaaayyyyyyy more poorly than these two Betsey's do, so I gave them back a few days ago.
