I specifically made a stop into Bravissimo while in the UK to buy some of these! I wanted black and tan and also got a wonderful dark floral print! They are much more rigid than my old, worn Satine and they feel like better quality too!

This is an unlined mesh plunge bra with double-layered mesh in the bottom two sections of the cup.
My shape: I am fairly projected, with fairly narrow roots, tall roots, I lack fullness above the apex of the breasts. I am also close-set.
How this bra fits: this is my favourite bra! I love it. The wires are fairly narrow - visualising how wide they would be were this bra a balconette, I am getting about 5 inches, which is perfect for me. The wires are firm, too, so they don't particularly widen when this bra is worn. As with the Bravissimo Elise plunge, there is oodles of immediate depth ...here, and a fair amount at the apex, too. The top section of the bra is slightly less closed than the Elise, although it doesn't have any stretch to it. It cuts in to my tall roots ever so slightly, but not enough to show under t-shirts at all. It gives me good lift, I get a natural-looking shape, slightly rounded. Love it.
The band was on the tighter side when I first got this, I'd estimate that it stretched to around 27 inches. I've rather worn this bra to death already (every second day since the day I got it, bc it is so utterly comfortable) and it has stretched out some. I'm pretty sure a wash and longer rest will tighten it back up. In any case, the band is on the tight side of TTS.
Looks: the cups are sheer. If you are a pale Caucasian with pale-coloured nipples, this bra could work as a nude. My nipples are too dark for that to work for me. The shade of yellow is soft, fairly pale. It doesn't drain my skin though, it's a warming yellow on me (yellow would ordinarily be a no-go for me). It would also look great on darker skin tones, everything from olive-toned to ultra-dark black skin, the colour is one of those very forgiving, soft shades. (I really love this bra, I can't stop waffling, lol). It's a simple bra, pretty and understated. The bow at the gore nudges it in the direction of pretty, and I'm going to remove it for that reason (I have a number of pretty bras, the simplicity of this one is what appealed to me).
Don't know how the colour will hold up with handwashing, it's light enough that it may grey with time. I'm going to invest in some good stain-remover so I can keep the shade nice. Read more 310 more words
My shape: fairly projected, tall roots, shallow above the apex, average width roots, soft tissue (so my tissue all sinks to the bottom of my breasts, hence the shallow up top!).
This bra is on the narrow and deep side of things for this size I think. The wings are also very low - I'll upload pictures as soon as I can, but for now take my word on it. My high set breasts mean that cups often sit against my armpit edge, this bra does not. The straps are also not as wideset as a lot of balconettes. Shapewise it reminds me of the Bravissimo Alana bra, but ...with stretch lace.
The cups are roomy at the bottom and apex, less so above the apex. In this size the upper portion of this three part balconette is stretch lace, I know that in higher cup sizes the lace is then laminated, don't know which size though I'm afraid. The band is snug! If you are a sub28, this could certainly be worth a try. It isn't so snug as to make it a 26, but the fabric of the band is sturdy and ungiving, on my 27 inch underbust it is just okay.
Under clothes this bra gives me a gently rounded, natural shape. Good lift. The colour is also lovely, it's a pink-toned orange so works well on my cool-toned skin. Would look great on warm skin too. It's a simple but pretty bra - not too fussy, not too plain. The fabric is soft yet firm. Its a deco. Thats what I would say. Makes a nice shape and the cups are great as they dont flip outwards as most older deco's cups esp. freya decos. I definitely try to get this bra in another color, but I dont want to keep it in black. It's just not my color.
This bra fits fairly well but wrinkles a tad on the top, depending on how much I swoop and scoop and the angle I'm sitting/standing at. It's very lightly lined but only somewhat helps with nipples. I am even fullness and about average on the shallow/projected spectrum with wideish roots. The wire could be wider for me on this and, though I wear it, would recommend this for someone with a bit more fob projection.
Very lovely satin looking bra. Band is made for V shaped women, which I am not so it doesn't fit. I'm not ready to sew a dart to make the top of the band smaller so I am trading to someone who it will fit better. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
A perfect halfcup bra, unfortunately it doesn't fit me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> The wires are too wide and the cup is too small.
I really liked this bra when it was new. Band nice and snug, cups about the right size, loved the color combination. Upon arrival, it surprised me because in the modeled shots on Bravissimo's site it looked like it could be a padded bra. I've never had a bra like this (similar to the Tango?) Unpadded, kind of see-thru. I never wore it as a daily bra (prefer t-shirt bras as most of my tops are thin and snug fitting)
After losing 15lbs and a cup size, this bra is far too big in the cups. )=
This fits me well on the top, but that's it. It's itchy, the wires are way too short causing side-spillage no matter what size I purchase, and the bottoms wrinkle a bit in this size (they did not in the 28E, but I had quadriboob in that). I was hopeful about this bra because people said it was good for breasts that are fuller on the bottom than the top, but really it hasn't done me any favors. The side-spillage caused aching and I couldn't leave this on for very long.
And there I was thinking I'd never find a padded plunge to fit me. I think this is one for those of us who need wide wires and shallow cups.
Perfect fit, but it took a few tries (I initially tried my regular size of 30DD, then the 28E) - band runs large and cups small. The 28E gave me great cleavage, but the wires were too low (story of my life) and I had armpit boob. The 28F is the right size I think, but I do lose the cleavage (which was quadboob from the side). Straps are really stretchy - almost elastic - ...which doesn't bother me but might some.
I bought a different bra to the grubby one I tried on in the shop and the back is noticeably tighter, so I think the band will stretch out quickly. If you're between sizes (I measure 29) definitely go down a band if you can.
This is the first Bravissimo own-brand I've bought, and I don't think the quality is anywhere near as good as Panache/Cleo (despite being the same price). I think the satin may pull after a while, but I can't argue with the fit. Read more 93 more words
This bra obviously doesn´t fit me well, no matter what size I get https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
At first I got it in 28E (because I read somewhere it runs big in the cups - not true, for me at least...) but the cups were way too small so I got 28F which is my usual size. The problem is that the wires stretch very much and when I´m wearing this bra, the wires are too wide for me. At the top of the cups the seaming is a little tight, and that´s why it cut´s in a little bit. Usually I need quit wide wires ...and shallow cups.
The 28 band feels true to size. Straps are fully adjustable and they don´t stretch much. Note that this is a soft cup bra, it seems like a padded one in some photos!
ETA. It really is the wires that are the problem here. They are the stretchiest I have ever seen! They also seem to be too short for the bra, the wires are only 23,8cm long but there is room for 25cm wires! This bra´s cups just get pulled and distort the minute I put the bra on. I´m planning to change the wires... Read more 97 more words
Tried the 28E but it didn't fit, only now I have the same problem with the 28F! I would never usually be 28F, but on the last one the Alana cut in at the top and was baggy at nipple. Although this one is a slight improvement, it still appears too small. I have a feeling that this bra is more suited to women with less full on top breasts as the top of the bra is very tight in comparison to the inner perimeter! I've retured both, might try 28FF in future as the Alana is a very pretty bra. Although it's plain, it has cute details and comes in many colours.
What a relief to find a bra that fits without painful underwires, unsightly underarm bulges, and a fairly smooth appearance under clothes without padding or molded cups. I love this bra. It's comfy and flattering. The wires are wide enough for my wide root boobs. The half cup style is subtly sexy.
Updated 10/10/2012: I love this bra so much I bought another. If I could've gotten my hands on the Bravissimo Demi Diva in red, the unpadded half cup bra the Tanzania Stripe is based on, I would've. Same goes for the Bravissimo Rococo Charm. I'm anxiously awaiting Bravissimo's winter collection, which is supposed to be available later this month. They're going to have a pale pink with black lace, unpadded, half cup bra. Also, my boyfriend loves this bra.
