I ordered this bra along with the Millie from Bravissimo on a whim. I haven't seen any information about them on bratabase (in this size range), but they both had glowing reviews on Bravissimo.
Well, the Millie didn't work out, but the Amber plunge is a true winner. This bra is perfect in every way. It is comfortable, has a firm band, the cups are the ideal width and height, it creates cleavage that rivals the Deco and disappears seamlessly under tops.
The appearance of the bra itself is not outstanding, its a pretty basic appearing slate gray moulded bra. The band does have patterned power mesh (polka dots) and the gore has a small circle adornment. Despite her modest appearance, the fit of Amber is outstanding. It solves all the problems I experienced with the Deco (too wide, shallow, and visible cup lines) but gives a similar look. I think it is worth a try if are looking for something similar to the Deco.
When I received Bravissimo's Ivory/Ice Pink Rococo Charm bra late November 2012 or early December 2012, it fit well. I would've ordered a 28F, the size I already had in Bravissimo's Tanzania Stripe, but they were out. The Ivory/Ice Pink 28FF Rococo Charm arrived, and it fit! Now, mid-February 2013, it seems to flatten me out a bit, if I look at the side profile. (A few weeks ago, I tried the Tanzania Stripe in 28FF and 28G, because my 28F Tanzania Stripes (I bought two) no longer seemed to cover enough, though they didn't flatten me from the side view. To my surprise, and you can ...read about it in my 28G Tanzania Stripe review, both sizes fit. There was less mounding above the top line of the cups in the 28G, but I still got that Marie Antoinette cleavage.) I wonder whether my cup size has gone up. If it has gone up, will it go back down during different parts of my cycle? I don't know.
What I did conclude about the Rococo Charms (I bought two) in 28FF is it is a much less comfortable bra than my 28F Tanzania Stripes. I haven't worn the Rococo Charms much as a result. I have enough comfortable bras now that I don't have to tolerate scratchy materials, poking underwires, or digging in straps. The underwires are not too wide for me in the 28FF Ivory/Ice Pink Rococo Charm, but the channel should be cushioned better.
The colors used in this bra are unfortunately a good example of how not to combine colors. The outside surfaces look fine, but the inside juxtaposes a cooler pink with a warmer pink. The warmer colored underwire channel and back band therefore looked dirty, even when new.
On the good side, the outside color is very pretty and can pass as a nude color for me. I mainly wear dark tops to minimize my upper body, but occasionally I want to wear a nude color bra.
Edited to add: Since I bought the 28FF Bravissimo Rococo Charm Bra, I've discovered I can wear 30 bands and still get adequate shaping and support. For comfort, therefore, I no longer wear 28 bands, except in bras with extremely stretchy 30 bands. For this reason, I would suggest you look at the band measurements of this bra and compare them to yours, if you're thinking of getting this. Read more 291 more words
Will probably update after wearing for a full day with further comfort info. I was really happy with the 30F I had of this same bra (but decided to exchange it for what I had thought would be a truer fit), but I'm honestly kind of disappointed with the 28FF. I won't be returning it since I don't think the fit issues are enough to warrant returning it again and this is the best fit I'll probably get with this bra. Firstly, the wires are definitely too wide for me, and it doesn't seem projected enough -- I don't really know where it wants my boob to go ...in the cup, since my left (smaller) breast both has quadboob and creates wrinkles in the fabric of the cup. My right (bigger) breast has worse quadboob but no wrinkles. The gore almost sits flat and probably would if the cups were just a little bigger, but I think a 28G would be too big. I also get a little more torpedo/Madonna-boob than I prefer. However, the fabric is soft and the print is pretty. I think I might have been more satisfied with the 30F because that was a good few weeks ago and I've gained more knowledge about bras/bra fitting since then, so I just didn't know enough to notice any issues. I know the problems I just listed seem like a lot for me not to want to return it again, but it basically fits and I like the bra itself.
EDIT/UPDATE: This bra and my IMF are not BFFs. They’re not even friends. The underwires are constantly moving down and the gore digs into my chest because it’s too high for me. This bra is so clearly too shallow/wide for me that I think I’ll just list it and count this as an “I’m a fool” purchase. Read more 199 more words
I have this bra in 28F as well and I love them both. This one actually fits me though! The 28F is too small but I'd rather too small than too big personally. This bra is a little uncomfortable in the gore but if I move the wires in their channels I can fix that no problem https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> It's a bra I know I'll get the full use out of, just like the smaller size and I am soo glad I found it in another persons collection! There is plenty of give in the cups so I could add some cutlets for more vavoom if I wanted! There is no room, for that in the 28F and sometimes I just want a little more, ya know?
It came to be as a surprise that I would fit in 28FF!
I have always worn 28F and occasionally 28E in very projected bras, but I have lost weight and remeasured as 28E.
I went to Bravissimo in London to look for a simple padded white bra to wear under white tops, and at first I was given 28E, but it was too small with obvious quad boobs so I was given 28FF. At first I thought I wasn't filling up the cup as there were empty space near the wire, but the fitter pulled the bra up and it instantly looked so much better! Turns out ...I had worn it too low when I tried it on.
I don't think this bra is the perfect shape for me as it has a few issues: - although the volume is right for my breast size, the cups cut and gave some quad boobs because it is a bit closed on top, and I have top fullness. But going up another cup size would definitely be too big. - The wires are definitely too wide for my narrow roots, but this happens with basically all UK bras I have tried, and it doesn't create many problems. - The cups are too far apart for my super close set breasts that the gore sits on the inside of my breasts a little, but that can be fixed with an overlapping gore alteration that I have been doing with all my UK bras.
It has a few great points though: - It is a true plunge with a very low gore so it's great for my super close set and centre full breasts. - The band is snug. - Simple padded design to wear under white tops as it conceals nipples too. - The rose gold materials look really good on the white bra!
Overall I am pleased with this bra, since my boobs are so weird that only Polish bras can fit perfectly. The fitter was very helpful too. One thing I don't understand is why I have enough boob to fill out this bra when the measurements show that I have dropped in size. Read more 248 more words
THIS BRA IS BEAUTIFUL. I seriously love how it looks.
It would be a great choice for even/FoB, wide and shallow. I have too much projection for this bra and it's a little bit too big overall, but IT"S SOO PRETTY! I'm such a sucker for damask/lace/paisley patterns.
I'm so sad that this doesn't fit because it's a lovely bra. The top seems a bit too closed for me, or maybe the cup itself it too small. I also like how the wires go to the ends of the channels.
This bra is a good fit despite being a bit big in the band (like everything else I own, sadly), yet it is still comfortable. I think it's a pretty good bra to wear under most clothes, the seams aren't too noticable. It is only a gentle padding too, so if you don't normally like moulded bras this could be worth a go. My only real con is the stretchy stretchy band.
I am IN LOVE with this bra! It's the most comfy bra I've ever worn!
The band is nice and tight, the gore is perfectly flat, the underwires follow the contour of my breasts perfectly! I ordered it in a 30E at first, thinking that would be my size but ended up finding the band was quite loose and the cups much too small, so I sent it back for this size instead. I love the bow details, the only thing I'm not so sure about (as are many women from what I can tell) is the sheer panel above the cup. Now, I have full on bottom breasts, but ...even then I can feel it tightening over the tops when I take a particularly deeper breath in. And then if I curl my shoulders inwards it wrinkles. So weird.
I'm still not sure whether I like the shape it gives my breasts (Bras I Hate green shape or as it has occasionally been called, the elf shoe shape) but then I've worn nothing but moulded cup bras for the past 10 years or so, so I might just have to give it time to see if I get used to it. It looks fine under clothes so it's not a problem in my opinion.
Overall, I am quite happy with it though, and will most likely get it in more colours whenever I can afford to. Read more 125 more words
This bra is great. Probably the best fit i have ever had. It is quite firm in the body and the cups fit perfect like it was made for me. It is also very pretty. The shape can be a bit funny under some tops though so i don't wear it with everything.
As I have had this a while I wanted to update my review. I stopped wearing this bra as quite quickly it seemed to stretch and wasn't supportive enough. In particular the straps seem really stretchy so don't seem tight enough. It is actually quite frustrating, as it is one of the few bras that really fits, and yet I never wear it.
Just adding some feedback. I no longer wear this bra, as it stretched really quickly, especially the straps. This was disappointing as it is one of the few bras that I was really happy with the fit.
I love this bra (my review is above) however, the only thing I wish bravissimo would change is I wish the straps could be adjusted more as i could do with tightening them a couple of cms. Does anyone know how this bra compares with other bravissimo styles? Are they similar? Do they allow more adjustment of the straps? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi deb. Can you tell me what you mean by funny shape undersome clothing? As for this one - you should get the same size in boudoir beau and one size up in alana. The straps can be adjusted all the way on those and they are quite popular styles whit a similar shape. However the straps on boudoir arent very comfortable.
I think this was a shape mismatch, so I can't comment much on fit. Did seem like a 28ff. Tall cups, but I am short rooted. A solid olive bra with copper hooks, eyes, and strap adjusters. An olive button up top the gore, and olive bow-ties on the straps' bases. Firm cotton material lines the inside of the cups, and power mesh/lace is used for the band.
This is one of my best fitting bras. The back size is perfect for me, firm but not too tight. The cups are lower than some other bravissimo balcony styles which is better for me - I don´t feel like i am wearing too much bra, and especially under the arms it is much more comfortable as it seems lower. The wires on this bra are excelent for me. I get this feeling when i wear this bra of "oh, maybe this is what a properly fitted bra is meant to feel like!" (which makes me realise that i don´t get that feeling very often). The cup ...does pucker and fold a little, but not as bad as sometimes happens. I am not quite sure what causes this to happen. If i smooth it down and there is no wrinkling or puckering than the cup seems to fit well, but then a bit of the fabric sort of folds over which makes wrinkling and excess fabric, but also makes the cup a fraction too small and a little quad boob, but if the fabric would just stay in place then it would fit perfectly. however the wrinkling and the quad boob are still both much less than happens in most non moulded bras for me so this is pretty good. The cup as padding in the bottom of the cup but not the top, so i feel it looks like a non padded bra but has extra support. the shape is very good. The colour is nice and the briefs fit well too. I bought this bra on a whim while in the UK at Bravissimo. It is almost perfect - until I move - and then it is clearly too small. I wish I had bought this bra in a 28G because it is simply gorgeous. Despite it being a three-part cup, it appears seamless under clothing and gives a lovely round shape. The band is firm and made of a lovely olive green lace. The olive green is an excellent alternative to black, I would love to get another bra in this colour.
This bra didn't fit. It seems to run a full cup smaller than the Etta longline, which is supposed to be based on the Satine cut. The 28FF Satine I tried fit similarly to the 28F - Bravissimo » Etta Longline (LN412). It could just be the black colorway. I'd like to try Satine again in other colors to compare. In 28FF, it was definitely too shallow and closed on top for me, with not enough space at the wire. The closed top of the cup edge may cause trouble with taller roots/FoT shapes, since I am FoB.
It did not fit. Too small all around plus may be too plunge (far apart cups?) for me. It was soft and very nice, so I am going to try a 30F. I normally wear 30E, but this 28FF was so small I decided to go a bit bigger in the cup. 28 band fit, but I tend to be more comfortable in 30 bands.

This bra no longer fits me because my breasts have grown but it gives pretty good lift. I found the center gore to be a little uncomfortable but this is most likely because I have close-set breasts. The bra seems good for projection.
Cute.
