The colour and design of this bra is gorgeous. I get quadraboob, so probably need a cup up, plus I think my boobs need an ever so slightly more projected cup. Otherwise it was comfortable.
I really like this one, the shape is really good - the only reason it technically doesn't fit is that the band is still a bit big and it's a 28...so I just have to accept it and move on as there aren't many other options on the market. I'm happy enough with the fit as it is a comfortable and practicle bra in all other aspects.
I really like this bra, it says "doesn't fit" on here I know but it actually fits pretty well. My sole complaint is that it is a little too large for me in the back. Otherwise it's perfect, one of my first bras that wasn't moulded and I'm a bit of a convert. The shape is pretty good and not pointy or anything. I like the girly pattern and it is very comfortable to wear. I wish it was smaller/they made 26's! Would reccomend this though anyway, it's a great everyday bra.
This is the second Alana I own, (first one being in mocha) and it's in nude. There seems to be something wrong with the left cup however, there seems to be excess fabric on the top part (and just my luck, lefty is the smaller of the 2) and it wrinkles no matter how much I try to fix it. So far however I haven't had a problem with this while wearing clothes, and since in every other aspect I am happy with it, can't complain.
It's as comfortable as my other alana, the underwires fit nicely and don't dig in anywhere, I absolutely LOVE the colour on this nude since it's a very pale pinkish nude which is excelent for me since I am so pale myself. The band is nice and snug, the way I like it!
I will be eventually purchasing the black version as well, hopefully they won't send me a wonky one too, I mean come on Bravissimo WAKE UP! First the complaints about underwires poking through and now wonky cups?
This is easily the most comfortable bra I own, the only thing I'm sad about is the fact they discontinued the red version because I would KILL for it in my size.
The band is a little stiff and might feel too tight at first, but once you've worn it for a few weeks and it's been broken into it is perfect. The outside fabric is very satin-y and smooth, and I don't have trouble with any lines showing under clothing. The underwire encases my breasts fully and properly and I rarely have to do any adjustments during the day.
Can't believe I've had this bra for over 3 years now, and I think it's my most worn bra. If I want a comfy bra that I don't have to think about during the day, I pick this one.
Over the 3 years it has stretched out a little bit but it's just as wearable now as it was when I first bought it. In fact, it's probably even a little bit more wearable now. The straps did keep falling now but before taking the review pictures I checked the straps and they weren't at the highest they could go - doh! I've fixed that now and the straps haven't fallen down since.
Really, I can't think of any cons for this bra. It does what it's meant to and it looks decent.
I really thought I was going to love this bra, but it wasn't quite right. I think it fits, but maybe it is a fraction too big in the cup. Not sure? The band was really good though - much firmer than many other Bravissimo styles. And the wires felt really strong, and the bra was really supportive. But it just wasn't quite right so I returned it.
The good: The pattern, the pink lace edging and the green bows on the straps https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The band is a firm 28 Good for full on top Gore is comfortable
The bad: Cups are a little bit big compared to other bravissimo 28FF, especially moulin rose Straps too far apart Cups are very wide
I got this bra as a t-shirt bra, seeing as I already have a deco and didn't fancy any others, it works fine but not under anything very tight.
The good: The fit is good, cups are good for full on top, band is true to size, sides give good support, gore is not painful.
The bad: Straps are almost in my armpits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />, the straps could do with adjusting a little bit more, and I'm growing out of it (not that it's the bras fault, but https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> )
Initially tried 2 sizes on this bra, 28FF and 28G, as Bradar suggesting I am between these 2 sizes, probably closer to 28FF than 28G, however quite simply the cups in the 28FF are too small for my boobs, I can't really get them into the cups. Not a good look for me....
I ordered a 28 since the last time I ordered a Bravissimo bra (the Alana), the 28 was fine on me. This time around 28 is quite tight on me so I'll be exchanging it for a 30F instead.
Other than that, the red colour is lovely and I feel quite uplifted in it. I'll be back to review the 30F.
Hi, could you please tell me how many hooks this bra has in the back? Does it have 2 or does it have 3?
