Tried this one on in the dressing room, so I don't have a good feel for it, but I can say that this bra is not very good for shallow breasts. The plunge-edge of the cup cut into my breasts, but I didn't come anywhere near filling out the cups themselves.
The straps only adjust half way. On my 4'11" body, it wasn't nearly enough. I had it adjusted as tight as it would go, and I still needed it to go tighter.
Other than fit issues, the bra is a very comfortable and pretty bra. The lace wings are a lovely touch. The straps and cups were free of itchy bits, and everything was very smooth.
This bra is pretty much the exact same fit as my Le Mystere Tisha (955) size 30D, but with much more style and far prettier colors. It gives the same lift but it is much more comfortable; it is made of soft shimmery fabric with lightweight soft foam lining. It is not padded per se, just foam lined to prevent show-through -- all the lift comes from the shape and the fact that the cups are ever so slightly on the shallow side.
As for the band, I really need a 28 (my ribcage currently measures 26 in.) in most bras, but I ...can wear this one on the tightest hook, and I can always take it in if I feel like it. The center front of the band is arched upwards, which helps make the bra more comfortable. The straps are partially adjustable, with rigid "twinned" straps in front.
This bra gives a nice rounded shape but one does lose some projection, as is the case with most t-shirt bras. The quality seems standard. Since it's brand new I can't comment on its longevity.
I love the bright pastel colors that are currently offered in this style. What I'm not so crazy about is the antique colored lace -- it works with the cream, beige, and black colors but not with the pastels. With some contrast colored lace, this bra would be a total knockout. Even so, this bra was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect to like it but I saw it for a great price and took a chance, and I think I'm going to keep it. Read more 175 more words
Best fitting of my bras. The side boning pokes after wearing all day though, and if you're used to plunges (like I am!) the high gore is not fun. Tempted to buy more however.
The lace throws me. I have to triple check to see if it's gaping after swoop and scoop but it's usually the lace.
Due to the stretchiness of the band, I do have to readjust through the day. Its VERY STRETCHY. I plan to do the tiny elastic modification to it to fix that, because I love the cups.
The other reviews of this bra model are indeed correct; it does run small. Serious major quad boob for me, which is a shame because this bra is really cute. Yet again, the straps are too short for me to take advantage of the crossing feature. I wish they'd make teenager bras with straps long enough for the nearly 6' tall & taller crowd. In teenager clothing brands, I comfortably wear a size small in the shirts, so I can't be that unusual. I am wearing an extender in the photo.
I bought this because I thought it was pretty. It has a deeper bandeau that helps disguise my rather wide rib cage. There is no up lift and too much material in the cups for my breasts.
This was one of the first bras I tried on out of letterphobia. It is clearly too small in the cup for me.
The band is fairly stretchy, but the construction is nice. It is molded but flexible and only lightly padded. I like the fabric covered straps and detailing on this bra, it seems well made. This would make a great t-shirt bra.
My problem seems to be more shape than size. Scoop/swoop = quadboob, resting = emptiness. More of a boob cover than boob support, and the "push-up" factor is nonexistent. The band is very comfy, but far too stretchy. Straps comfy and adjustable enough.
The shoulder straps were really short for me. Even lengthened all the way out, I they were digging into my shoulders. I am 5'9" and I do usually have to have my straps pretty far out, but this was the only time I couldn't get them long enough.
Another Goodwill find in a far-off sister-ish size. I measure 31 snug underbust and 36-38 over and this fits but isn't perfect. It is so pretty though. I have the blue and it is so cute! It has removable push-up pads.
Band is way stretchier than the Ciao Bella in the same size. The cups also feel smaller so it gapes in the middle by the gore on both sides. It is an OK looking bra , my husband says it looks like a future bra because the whole front band is covered in the fabric. I would have gone to a 30DDD but figleaves didn't have the blue in that size. Returned it.
When this bra came in the mail, and I opened it, I was so excited because it's so pretty! I couldn't believe it didn't fit, because the Faithfully Yours in the same size fits very well. This bra was just too small in the cups. I would love to find it one size up. The band is made of a nice firm fabric and much better than my other B.tempt'd bras. It feels sturdy but not constricting. I think in the right shape it would look nice under clothes, and the lace lays flat and doesn't show.
This is the worst shaped bra I have ever purchased. It is very pointy, and not even in a natural way. I do like the soft straps, and the band is much firmer than the other B.tempt'd bras I own.
It's really pretty and comfortable, and gives me a nice shape. It fits well after "scooping and swooping" but sometimes needs re-fitting a couple of times throughout the day, though I pretty much expect that with any bra, since I have conical breasts with very little fullness on top or bottom. The vivid colors are great, and the lace isn't too textured to wear under a t-shirt, though the vertical seam is slightly visible through thinner fabrics. The straps don't have a lot of adjustment, but there's enough for me. The band fits well, and is comparable to the band fit in other bras I own in the same band size in other brands/styles.
Very comfortable. Had to fasten on tightest setting. Scoop and swoop results in quadboob, but looks okay when I've "settled" into it. I'm exchanging it for 30D.
At first, I thought this bra was labeled wrong because the cups were so large. I have other bras in 28dd/30d, but I didn't come close to filling this out. Seems to me more like a 30dd or very deep 30d. Otherwise, very comfortable and super cute!
I LOVE THIS BRA. It's comfortable, and the first bra I bought that's a soft cup. I just bought it, so I'm not too sure on it yet. But I want to find out what others think about the fit first. It fits really well in the back for me
This bra fits me perfectly, with no empty space in the cup (which is a problem with a lot of molded cups I've tried on). It looks great under tighter shirts, not pointy but not too round. The band is only one layer of mesh, however, so it will probably stretch out quickly. The straps are not fully adjustable, but that is not a problem for me.
