This bra is just like the Natori Features except the cups are further apart and the cups are less tall. Get this bra if you are extremely broad rooted, shallow, far apart spaced, and have medium height or short roots.
Wow! Just when I've convinced myself that I should never buy a 32 bra again, that 30's are the way to go, and that my size is absolutely a 30DDD, I get an almost-perfect bra with, you guessed it: a 32 band. Go figure!
I ordered this from Amazon because it was on a super sale (seriously, I think I got this new bra for $13 +shipping!) and because I tend to be a big B.tempt'd By Wacoal fan. This reminded me of my very favorite bra by them, the Sheer Delight t-shirt bra, because of the soft, minimally padded cups and the mesh overlay on top ...of them. So I jumped, and I'm so glad I did!
The bra itself is beautiful, with a black lace/mesh overlay in a floral pattern covering tan cups. The band is also lace/mesh. The straps, which appear initially to be plain black, are actually covered with a pretty, overlapping sort of ruched material. I think this bra looks lovely on, and it is well-camouflaged under shirts.
Fit-wise, the band is not super-tight, but it still feels firm enough. It's possible that a 30DDD might be a better fit, but I wonder if the cup might be a little small in that size. To me, it doesn't seem worth the trouble of trying to exchange it. (Also, the special sale price does not seem to apply for that size!) The band feels snug enough on the loosest hook, but I can fasten it on the tighter hooks if I want to. I may opt to do that in time. Read more 158 more words
This fits you so much better than the Feathers. Beautiful!! So happy for you!! Oh. I can wear 32 Wacoal bands easily and I have a 28" underbust. They just might be a bit smaller than other brands.
Thanks, Love4Pollinators! I'm not an expert yet on variations in different brands, but that's good to know I'm not alone at the small underbust/32 wacoal party. :)
I think most of us end up with bras in many sizes - it's possible the next 32 band you grab will be loose and feel awful. Good find!
This is my absolute favorite bra, and I would buy three more in as many colors I could find if Wacoal/b.tempt'd chose to carry it again! I've had it for at least two years, possibly more than that. While it may have stretched out somewhat with time, it's still one of my favorite bras. I think my favorite aspect of this bra is the mesh/netting that extends .5" to 1" above the cup. What I've found is that the mesh is incredibly forgiving. If I've gained a few pounds around Thanksgiving, the mesh prevents/disguises any instance of quadboob. It creates a smooth line under clothing, and I wear this bra under *everything*. I love that this is my most practical bra, but that it also looks sexy when the clothes come off.
I really wish this bra worked for me, but it's just a bit small in the cup. A 30DDD would be perfect, but B.tempt'd doesn't make that size for this model.. Sigh. A few other Wacoal 30DD bras have fit me better, but this cup is less forgiving to top fullness or maybe fits a touch small?
I've become a bit addicted to spacer bras recently, so I'd rank this somewhere between Fantasie and Simone Perele. I like the cut better than the Fantasie Rebecca. The lower gore on this bra helps it to be more flattering and less full coverage on me. The material seems a bit softer. ...Meanwhile, I think Simone Perele is softest and most attractive, but the bands run loose - this band fits pretty true to size. I rank the appearance as okay because while I like the cut, the gore bow detail is infuriatingly childish to me - what is this, a bra for preteens? I mean, I guess that's okay, just not for me. Of course, if the bra fit better, I would just snip it off. Read more 75 more words
Background first: I have wide set, shallow, slightly splayed boobs; tall roots but soft and deflated, so my braless shape is full on bottom. The left side is about half a size larger than the right, but it's also more deflated and concave on top when unsupported.
I was happy to finally have a chance to try the Ciao Bella Balconette, which I've had my eye on for months. This bra is awfully pretty -- I love the lacy look, and it gives me those nice mounded hills above the bra line. The wires are just right, the cup volume is right, and the top of ...the cup fits smoothly. The band is firm but comfortable, maybe just a little more rigid than ideal for me. When I lifted my right arm, the underwire on that side flexed away from my body in an unusual way -- I'm not sure what that means, and I don't think it would be a problem, but it did surprise me.
I loved this bra until I started trying on shirts. Through t-shirts, the shape is weird on me, kind of like having breasts made of polygons instead of hemispheres. The lace shows through t-shirts, of course, and the seam right over the nipple is especially noticeable. Arrgh! I wanted to love this bra! It does feel good, and it does fit; maybe I will look again someday in an actual store, in case the funny outline was just my particular specimen. Read more 148 more words
Finally a perfect fit! This bra is gorgeous and sexy - AND super comfortable! It doesn't press in at the top of the cup, causing spillage or overflow (which is usually a big problem for me). The lining is a pretty pink color and very soft. The first day I wore it, I worked a physically demanding job for 12 hours and never once adjusted or even thought about my bra! When I went to take it off, everything was in exactly the same place as it was when I put it on (I have a problem with migration in a lot of bras). The center gore tacks ...and the straps are not too wide and don't slip off. This bra gives a very pretty rounded shape and has great support. I do wish it came in a smooth t-shirt version (the seams will show under some tops). If it did, I would still want this version for the support the seamed cups provide (and also just how pretty it is), but I'd love it if I could have a smooth version to wear under tees. I am just thrilled to have finally found the perfect fit for me! I can't comment yet on the quality simply because I just bought it and I've only worn it one time so far - but it looks to be very well made. Read more 123 more words
This bra seems to fit but I wish the underwires went up higher on the sides because it gives me a lot of armpit fat. I get some quadboobing after swooping and scooping but after they settle it looks like it fits. When sitting down, it is weird...I get quadboobing on the bottom and gaps on the top. I think if the underwire was higher it would be a lot better because all my top boobs escape out to the sides. The band is surprisingly stretchy for a 30. I got this used so maybe that's why it's stretched but I have to wear it on the last hook. I like that this bra gives my boobs a nice shape and is smooth and seamless under clothes.
Ok so I just had breast reduction surgery 2 months ago. I'm still swelling a bit but am sick of wearing bandini bras with no shape. Dr said I am free to now wear underwires. So I bought this bra because it was only $20 and that's good because it may not fit in a couple months. I bought the 30dd based on the cup depth and my measurements. (I need about an 8 inch depth) But it is at least a cup size too small!! Whoever measured this bra and got even close to a 8 inch cup depth must have a magic measuring tape. There is no way this cup is deeper than a 7!
So I ordered a 32dd since there is no 30ddd. I will be sending this one back. The band was a little tight anyway on my insicions. Just need it to fit me for a couple months until I am fully healed and can invest in full bra wardrobe when o know my final size.
30dd fits my 29" ribcage perfectly, cup depth and wore width are perfect, I did have to move the wires outwards to make sure my breast tissue was fully encased in the cup, gore tacks, doesn't dig in. I did notice my right boob is slightly smaller then my left , so I'll be adding a tiny bit of extra padding. Over all great lift almost rounds my boobs out up top the way no other bra could. Shallow up top with slight bottom fullness and slight protection, also I have slight inner fullness, seriously loves how it rounds my upper portion out and evens the overall roundness it's great
High rise , gray lace over bright pink padding colorway
Great bra if you need a small-ish band and average to small cups and you are into this style of bra. I wanted a push up for occasional use and I like this one, but will try a 30C before I decide on keeping one (I am always squarely between cup sizes). At first look the band seems stretchy, but surprisingly it could only be stretched to 28.5-29" which is good for a size 30. I normally like to wear a 28 but they have become too difficult to obtain so I often try 30s. The padding on this bra is thick, as expected -- it's a push up bra. Other than that, not too much to say. Will update with a review on the 30C.
This bra fits great for me (wide/shallow FoB) other than the band that is too large. The straps dig into my shoulder a bit and I think they would feel better if they were completely elastic as opposed to half of it. I'm thinking of removing the straps and wearing it as a strapless (it would solve the problem of the bra rising up when I raise my arms). Overall the quality is good and it's gorgeous! The wires seem wide (not too wide for me) but might be a problem depending on your shape. As the other reviews have mentioned, the lace is scalloped but it lies flat for me and doesn't look like theres gapping even though there is slight gapping on my smaller boob.
Band seems to run small; I think it stretched the underwires somewhat which made the cup stretch at the top and thus cut into the top of my breasts. Some wrinkling/folding at the bottom of cup where I think it is too shallow. Underwires dig in a little bit and are uncomfortable. Low plunge with little coverage.
I got this bra due to the design of the band--I thought it would be simple to alter (which would be necessary as a front-closure bra only has one "set of hooks." However, it does seem to run about a band size tight.
I like this bra. Has a nice amount of push-up padding, doesn't show under t-shirts. I think it looks pretty cute on too, even though I thought it looked pretty ugly in photos. The band runs pretty true to size. Not a super tight 30 band like some.
Update: After ~1 year of wear in rotation with my other bras, the elastic band on the bottom of the bra started to come off. It seemed to have only been glued there. This made the bra way too loose and unwearable. The quality is disappointing but I would probably still buy it again. I found a similar fitting push-up bra is the Aerie Emma in 32D.
This is a really smooth t-shirt bra. Very comfy as well. I have short roots and get a bit of gapping in the top part if I move my arms forwards but other than that is fits fine. I love that it has adjustable straps, great bra for summer shirts!
I LOVE the shape this bra gives me and it's incredibly comfortable. The band is very stretchy so I have to wear it on the tightest hooks to keep it from riding up, but so long as I do that it's okay. It's seamless so it gives a nice smooth shape, even under tight fitting shirts. The straps are removable as well, so it can be converted to a racerback by crossing them in the back.
The cups on this bra have a weird shape, which is resulting in quad boob. It's not that the cups themselves are too far apart, it's the fact that as you go from the "nipple" portion to the inner sides of the cups, it has a sharper curve. So it gives a weird shape in addition to cutting in. If it had more of a rounded curvature to that part, the cups would fit pretty well. My only other problem with this bra is that there's virtually no give to the band; my tight fit is 27" & comfy is 28", this thing is 26.5" baseline and only ...stretches (which takes effort) to 28". I feel like I would fit this bra better as a 34C, as there would be more options for a better ribcage fit.
Also, I'd like to note that the measurements were taken fresh out of the mailbox. So if you wonder why my stretched-band measurement is so much less than others, that might be why. I imagine theirs were measured after some wear. I see reviews and measurements saying that the band stretches out super fast, and people have had to go from the loosest hook to the tightest within a couple weeks of wear. So if that's the case, and you were to order this bra, I'd say look into buying a band size smaller in anticipation of stretching. But on the other hand, I could barely hook a 32 in this bra, so I can't imagine being able to hook a 30; I'd have to stretch it by hand first instead of through wearing. Read more 162 more words
I loved this bra when it fit. The band has always been to big for me (I wear a 28), but the bra was very comfy, lots of cleavage, firm band, and nice overall appearance. This bra has a very firm mould and you definitely need to be projected for it to fit well.
I got it for $5 and thankfully not a cent more I'm pretty Bummed that this didn't work out for me! I can't see this bra working for anyone. The wires are thick and awkward, as are the straps. I have to fold the cups to make i work!
Go up sevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveral cup sizes. This is more for shallow breasts, so if you have projection the need to size up is imminent to create more projection, or just avoid this all together. Pros: Cute color, love the fact it's cute and a racerback that looks good. Cons: shallow cups, quadboob
This fits you so much better than the Feathers. Beautiful!! So happy for you!! Oh. I can wear 32 Wacoal bands easily and I have a 28" underbust. They just might be a bit smaller than other brands.
