If I described this bra in a word, it would be... "strange."
The band is very firm (good for a strapless), but the cups are STRANGE! There are no seams on the cup itself, and there is elastic around the top of the cup. When I fastened the band before S&S, I was thinking it wouldn't fit; however, when I fixed the cup, it seemed to fit! I think this design can therefore fit many different shapes. I will try wearing this around and update the review. Not being seamed feels like it lacks support in the cup, however.
I got it off of eBay, and therefore was not sold the convertible straps that go with the bra.
Updated: The band started too tight, stretched quickly, and now I'm pretty sure I need a smaller band size in this style. Definitely need a bigger cup size. The straps started super comfy, but dug into my (tall/shallow) roots and caused massive chafing, probably due to the cup size.
This bra is highly comfortable, and if it weren't for the shape issue, I would love it. The wires are perfect, the band doesn't ride up, but there is one problem—I don't fill out the top of the cups. Since this is a t-shirt bra made with memory foam this is not an issue for me. I'll keep it and wear it anyhow, especially since I hardly know it's there when it's on. The lace at the top is barely noticeable when worn with a thin shirt, which is a con for some.
The underwires lay exactly as they are supposed to, which is why I bought this. I tend to have a problem with wires being too narrow, or the cups having too much projection. Everything about this bra is perfect for me.
Pretty wide set because of the front closure, which doesn't really make for a "front-and-center" look. Band feels stretchy, and yet somewhat snug at the same time. Very deep plunge with little coverage, which makes the cup seem too small even though that was the way the bra was designed. It seems like the bra is sitting a bit too low because it seems a bit shallow in the bottom.
Gapes slightly along the top (this happens with every moulded bra I try) but I can't resist the smooth line it gives under clothes. Wires fit quite well. The fabric is smooth and comfortable.
Love this bra! Cup fit is better the 30D still have slight quadboob but not as bad as 30D. Wish they made 30DDD/E. Love the fun color combinations and it fits so smooth I sometimes forget I'm actually wearing a bra! Light pink/ dark pink bra
I'm a 28DDD based on self measurement, but I wanted a properly fitted bra ASAP, so I went into Dillards. They do not carry 28s usually, so I tried this 30DD. Feels great for my first bra that fits, the gore hits where it should be. However, I feel like some of my armpit boobage doesn't quite fit on the right side, even with a swoop and scoop. This is probably due to uneven breasts. Otherwise, I really love it!
I like this bra. It's very comfortable. But like most moulded bras on me, there is a space between my breast and the bottom of the wire. There is a small space between the gore and my sternum. I have the straps at the longest for them to be comfortable. Although this would probably be considered an ill fitting bra, I'd get more in different colors.
Eta: I wore this bra all day to work yesterday. There was one point in the day where it bothered me a little, it was at the bottom of the wire on my bigger breast, but it went away after 5 minutes. I kept it on all night until about 11pm when I realized I was sweating (no fan or AC on in room). The 'red marks' were in the right spot according to the shape of my breasts (the wire mark was at my IMF, not below it), so this is definitely going to be a keeper.
This bra kind of fits me, but kind of doesn't. If I put the bra on correctly (that is, closing it in the back), I believe it fits better than when I would close it in the front and then turn it around. The wire sits in my IMF. I would love this bra if it were strapless. It feels nice when I don't have the straps on. When I put the straps on, it feels too tight. The color isn't as 'black' as it looks in the stock photos. The actual color is like in the birds eye view. It's very beige, with like a black ...mesh covering. The lace at the top of the cups is somewhat scratchy, as is the band initially (but I'm use to wearing non lace/mesh bras, so I nay just need to get used to it.) I bought two, so I will definitely be keeping at least one of them.
Eta: I wore the bra all day today at work and I had no issues. I actually didn't feel like I was even wearing a bra. When I took it off there were no lines on the top of my chest, so I'd say this is a good fit for me. Also the wire does sit on the IMF Read more 108 more words
This bra fit pretty well but I found that the seeming was extremely visible under shirts and that I did not like how it looked on me. The top of the gore started getting a little floaty as well, but not in a way that mattered (?).
The band is tight and the cups seem small. I could probably get over the band tightness (it will stretch), but the cups did not hold me in at all. It was a strange fit. My breasts were squashed, didn't fill the bottom of the cup at all and gave me serious quad-boob.
I bought it because in the store because it was the best fit that I could find that day. The underwire actually encompasses my breasts and I like that it makes my boobs look bigger under a shirt. However, it feels tight and the cups are too big. I couldn't tell at first because of the mesh smoothing things over. But when I sit down and hunch over a little I can see that the tops of the cups are too big. I really like the way it looks and am totally bummed it didn't work out.
Cute bra, but the lace in the sternum doesn't fit properly! It ruffles up a bit and looks funny. I did buy it secondhand, though, so maybe this is an issue with previous wear/tear or storage. Other than that, it's a pretty cute bra!
I think this shape is off for me. It seems like this bra is a lot more shallow than the other ones by @B.tempt'd that I've tried. I'm also not a huge fan of the ribbons in the front...
