PLEASE NOTE: this bra was not purchased for myself.
This bra is quite a catch! It was purchased for a woman with immediate projection, and a strong dislike for a big/flattened/round silhouette that many 32D bras have given her in the past. Although she measures as 30E, this bra fit her well, with only slight hints of quadboob in her larger breast. The genius of this bra is that the cups themselves are sort of balconette, but there's a sheer overlay in the same color that comes up a bit higher on the breast, and is a very forgiving stretch material. The shape of the cups produces a ...lifted, perky, and a projected, slightly rounded shape. The end result is that this bra fit her better than anything yet, and is SUPER cute to boot! We picked it up in purple and yellow, on sale at Macy's for less than $15 each. B.tempt'd seems like a surprisingly youthful brand, considering Wacoal's usual shape. Good quality materials and stitching. I will definitely be looking to them in the future for her! Read more 72 more words
Way too big in the band for me. Bought this ages ago when I thougt 32 was the smallest band size you could get and I wasn't able to fill the cups at the time.
The bra cups are great for my immediate base projection. I don't feel squished or flattened at all, just comfortably supported. I have a tall root, so I fit better in cups made for even or full on top shapes. The openness at the top of this cup is good. The moulded cups gape a little bit when I lean forward. If the straps were placed closer together, I don't think this would be an issue. The underwires are the perfect width for my average root. The center gore is narrow, with the wire casings resting right next to each other at the top of the gore. ...My breasts have no separation between them, so the wires/wire casing are still resting on tissue. The gore is a little bit too high, and pokes me. The band is the most perfect tension I've ever felt, it's neither tight nor loose.
Update: My weight has changed, and the gore on this bra no longer sits flat. I'm feeling a little bit squished in the cups, and I'm wishing for a tighter band. It's still super comfortable, though.
This bra's purchase marked the beginning of my quest for well-fitting bras. I picked it out because of the striking color (I had absolutely no clue what my size was as I was breastfeeding, thus fluctuating, and I had never been fitted). This 32D fits better than any bra I'd ever worn. It has quickly become my favorite! It's so pretty and supportive and comfortable, without padding. It stays in place and give the right amount of shape for day-to-day wear. Be careful of sheer and light clothing though. It is a very bold, slightly corally red. Very pretty color.
After a professional bra fitting, I discovered my true size is 30DD/E. I wore this on its tightest hooks from day one, and the band still tended to be loose, but it didn't ride up like my previous bras. It still hasn't stretched out, and I've worn it many, many times on the tightest setting.
There's my newbie review. If you have any specific questions, just ask!
I tried this bra in 32D instead of my usual size of 32C, in part because it was on sale, and in part because I actually measure as a 32D/DD and wanted to see if it was worth trying a 32D. In retrospect it was probably a bad choice considering the 32C in Ciao Bella is almost perfect on me, save for the wires being almost too narrow. As expected, it was way too big for me. The wire width was perfect, but there was a lot of empty space all around the cups (most notable near the gore, as I'm very splayed and a bit separated). I think a 32C would have fit well. The bra is absolutely beautiful - a nice soft satin fabric edged with just a hint of lace, a lovely double spaghetti strap design, and pretty bow detailing. I may have to buy it in 32C.
Nice smooth fit. Band fits and stays put, but is very stretchy. I could size down to a 30" band if it were available. Fits my narrow shoulders very well. The very top of the cup turns inward slightly instead of outward towards the my armpits. This is something I always look for to keep the straps from digging into my armpits. The straps are fully adjustable
I would like to find a lined/molded version with the same fit.
This is a demi bra masquerading as a full coverage bra because of the sheer overlay. This is the only bra I've tried on in this size that gave me borderline quad boob. It was not a good cut for my breasts.
This bra is really pretty, with white lace accents against black fabric. It is very comfortable, and lightly padded. It would make a good everyday bra- I found myself forgetting I was wearing it in the brief time I had it on.
This is a way wrong size for me, but even when I was wearing 32Ds every day, the center gore was always too high and uncomfortable. The lace and seams of the cup would show under most of my shirts.
My breasts are shallow (as in my breast tissue starts up high, not that my breasts have no projection) with narrow roots. The vertical seams and almost horizontal top of the cup are a really good fit for the shallowness, but the wires are too wide for my freakishly narrow roots.
It is a comfortable bra, though the band doesn't seem to have a lot of give when it's new. It has softened up quite a bit. The lace and heavy seams makes it not so great under sheer shirts, but it's not as noticeable as I thought it would be. How much do I like this bra? I ...had this bra, migrated out of it, bought a 32DD, migrated out of it, and now I have a 30DDD. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I wore this bra in a rotation of 2-3 other bras for about 1 month before tissue migration moved me onto a bigger cup. It was always washed by hand with Forever New and air dried. It's in great condition, barely worn. The only "damage" to it is very, very light brown spots on the underside of the cups where they rested against my antique dresser. I took pics of these spots, but they didn't really show up in the photo. Read more 109 more words
It's really pretty and comfortable, and gives me a nice shape. It fits well after "scooping and swooping" but sometimes needs re-fitting a couple of times throughout the day, though I pretty much expect that with any bra, since I have conical breasts with very little fullness on top or bottom. The vivid colors are great, and the lace isn't too textured to wear under a t-shirt, though the vertical seam is slightly visible through thinner fabrics. The straps don't have a lot of adjustment, but there's enough for me. The band fits well, and is comparable to the band fit in other bras I own in the same band size in other brands/styles.
Too big in the band, too small in the cup. What can I say? I'm good at buying the wrong bras over the years. This was at least CLOSER to my correct size of 28FF than many others before it. Still not good on me, it slipped off my shoulders and moved around quite a bit.
