I received this as part of a large Figleaves purchase. The colour is a beautiful turquoise-teal with a kind of satiny finish. The lace detailing is beautiful and seems thin and soft enough to not show under clothing. Overall a simple but beautiful bra.
The cups have "imbedded cookies" in them. This is the reason I will return this bra. My breasts are very asymmetrical. The cookie was perfect for adding enough volume to my smaller breast in order to fill the cup. However, there was significant quad-boob on my bigger breast! Too bad the cookies aren't removable... The straps are also a little bit too thin for my comfort, and, ideally, the gore should be a little wider to better "hug" my breasts.
I have the same bra in 65C which is a little too tight for me. The band runs very tight though and the cups are on the smaller side. It doesn't provide a lot of support, but it's just so beautiful! It feels a little bit like an unpadded bra.
I have this bra in this color and nude. Although the nude is the same size, it always seemed to fit slightly better. It's been a decent day-to-day bra. It is smooth under clothes and gives me a nice shape (although I prefer padded push ups, which this is not). Only recently did I learn that the band is too big and the cups are too small for me. Unfortunately, I have yet to find something that works for me in my new size and in the meantime, I usually wear these.
I cannot swoop and scoop with these or I immediately get major quad boob, with some ...lovely (not) gapping in the upper corners near the straps (especially if I bend over). My breasts are very soft and rather deflated, so they kind of just pour into the cup (which is very lightly padded and softly molded) and are shaped by it. If I arrange them just so, this bra is flattering.
Having had these bras for a while, the top edges of the cups are starting to turn upwards a bit. The band definitely has stretched out. Read more 82 more words
I purchased this before I knew my size. The bra material is silky, stretchy, and smooth. The tags are printed: if tags bother you, this may be a good bra. The lining is soft and thin, but does not hide prominent nipples.
I got this bra via r/randomactsofbras (with much gratitude!). This will fit when I'm in my smaller weeks, but is definitely too shallow for my bigger days, which is fine. I prefer my bands not to be so stretchy, but it certainly fits for now at the loosest hooks. The cups have a smooth, rounded silhouette with a bit of push-up that can't be removed, and there is a nice, narrow plunge gore that is great for close-set breasts like mine. The lace edge at the top is non-intrusive and won't show under most clothes. One note: Everything about it is soft and satiny, which feels nice but I suspect it will mean the band riding up regardless of tightness as my rib-cage is practically a straight column. Most other people seem to have a more flared shape from the base of their ribs upward, so I don't expect this is an issue that would recur with many others, but it is worth mentioning to the few that might.
This bra is extremely comfortable and the fabric is very soft! Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all yet my breasts are rounded and supported with little to no bounce. Fits great....for now. The issues... At a 30dd I am wearing day one on the largest hooks however I could easily adjust to the smallest hooks with no problem. The band could be tighter and sturdier. It fits now but I can see this bra stretching out very quickly. Also, the straps are the correct legnth currently at their smallest setting. It would be nice if they adjusted just a little bit smaller. Basically this is an excellent no show t shirt bra for the time being but I will likely size out of it very quickly. I bought it anyway because it fit and I found it in the same rack at Macy's for only 20 bucks! At that price it was worth it to me for now.
Now I realize the CK misunderstanding, haha! I was talking about Curvy Kate, while you bought Calvin Kline! :)
Ahhh! Haha!! I gotcha now!! I am in fact interested in trying some curvy Kate styles however im just not sure which ones would work for me or what size I would need. I'm looking for a slightly wider and more shallow cup with a round and lifted shape. And yes! I would assume their bras are waaaay better quality and much sturdier, but try finding curvy Kate's in a store in the U.S.! Until I have the chance to try some on, there's no way to tell if they'll fit :-( however, curved Kate recommendations for wider, shallower, and a narrow and shorter gore are always welcome!
Curvy Kate does have some broad wired and shallow bras in 30DD. A lot of those bras are for FOT shapes though. If your shape is FOT, try the Roxie, the Flaunt, and the Wild.
If your shape is neither FOT nor FOB, try the Soda Pop and the Desire.
Thanks saskia! Unfortunately I none of the above, lol! I think I'm fob but my breasts are deflated and soft due to weight loss and muscle gain. Think saggy and flat. Thank goodness for nice well proportioned nipples because that's about all my boobs have going for them these days, haha!! I always had large fairly even and full somewhat pendulous breasts. Now I just have stretched skin with round flat fat at the bottom. So wherever you push them, they squish and if a bra is over projected, they just spill forward and look pointy and conical. In most molded t shirt styles I can get the rounded fuller look I had in my twenties. I'm also quite petite at 5'2 and 118 pounds but with a medium frame. High wide gores irritate me however I am not narrow. Any other CK suggestions?
In the process of adding and measuring some CKs for you as we speak! :)
This bra is just too wide for me, both in cup and straps. I ordered the 32 DD because this bra doesn't come in a 30DDD. I had the 30 DD, and while it was still rather wide, it fit quite comfortably. The 32 DD straps push into my underarm area and chafe. I cannot wear it.
I've had this bra for a while and it is one of the ones that fit me well. I'm looking into different sizes though because all of my bras have bands that are too large. This bra is quite comfortable but it doesn't stay in place all of the time when wearing it strapless. Overall it is a good quality bra and the shape has held up very well.
This bra fits pretty well. I prefer less padding and molding. There might be some space in the upper part of the cup, but not enough that it makes it look funny.
It's a basic t-shirt bra, which is what I hoped for. Also, the fabric is super-soft, and the straps are covered in the same stuff.
I think it might fit best on the smallest hook, which is sad, but _you_ try finding 28D bras in any kind of basic style.
It fits remarkably well, given how wide-set my breasts are. The one day I wore it to work, though, the underwires started poking into my chest more than I liked. :-/ (this may have had more to do with hunger and bad posture and the existence of underwires than a flaw with the bra itself, so I reserve judgment until I've worn it a few more times.)
The band of this bra started out very firm. I needed an extender for the first 3 or so months of wear, but it was (and is) otherwise comfortable. I have some extra space at the top of the cup, but it doesn't bother me much. The bra gives a very smooth look under clothing and the fabric feels quite nice.
I love this bra- it's a super sheer lace that is rather minimal in every way. Minimal coverage, minimal support. Which is exactly what I want from this bra. The lace cups conform to your natural shape, and accommodate for my shallow breasts.

The band runs loose and seems to fit more like a 32. After a couple of wears, I can comfortably wear it on the tightest hook, so I'll have to take it in a bit. Since it's padded, it's hard to tell whether the cup shape is right. It seems to follow my breast root pretty well, but I'm not convinced that I'm filling the top of the cup completely. That's ok, since it's molded, and the shape looks ok, even if the top cuts into my root a bit. You can't see it under a shirt. The hook is kind of itchy, though, when I wear it ...on the loosest, so even after I alter the band, I'll be wearing it on the second hook.
The padding is a bit of a weird spot. There's a space between the padding and the wires, and this was kind of uncomfortable the first day I wore it. It feels ok now, but it leaves an odd indent on the bottom of my breast where it falls between the wire and the padding. The space is even enough on both cups that I have to assume that this is deliberate. Bit of an odd design choice.
Update: I sewed a ribbon over most of the bottom elastic and left maybe 1.5 inches left unsewn. It fits a bit loosely on the loosest hook, but I couldn't hook it on the second hooks, so I have to deal with that weird itchiness I get on the loosest hook. Other than that, this bra is quite comfortable to wear now.
I thought about the padding some more, and I think I understand why it doesn't do anything for me. All the padding is located where I don't have much fullness- on the sides and bottom. It just makes the cup shallower in those areas, so my breasts fit just fine with no pushing up. Read more 212 more words
Tried this on in red at Nordstrom Rack and would have bought it if it weren't for two things:
- the straps don't adjust small enough and have very little stretch - band is a little too big (my underbust is 26.25, fyi)
I've found that CK bands don't stretch out much over time, so if I were to find this bra again really cheap, I would definitely consider buying it and altering the straps myself.
Otherwise, this is a great bra! Cups fit really well, gives a great lifted shape, the color is really beautiful and it's very supportive.
I love, love, love this bra. Granted, it's pretty padded and the cup shape is pretty rigid, but it gives great shape under all sorts of clothes, good cleavage and is still the most comfortable bra I own. I do wish it were a little less contoured -- at certain times of the month, I don't quite fill it out, which means that I get some gaping at the top of the cups if I sit a certain way. Not particularly sexy, appearance-wise and I've found the white gets pretty dingy looking but mine is ~4 years old at this point. This is a definite staple in my bra wardrobe and I'm definitely thinking about replacing it (but probably not in white).
This bra sees like a nice bra but it originally didn't fit very well. The cups were too separated for me and the band was too large. I fixed the band by sewing a non stretch patch into both sides of the band and sewed the gore so that it is smaller and now this bra is amazing! My only issue is that the "customized lift" does not take into account that cup size is relative to band size. There was not much push up in the bra at all which is disappointing because push up bras are harder to find in this size. In general though I would say the bra was good quality and ran true to size.
