    Didn't fit

I was initially fitted for this bra at Nordstrom and the fitter put me in a 34DDD, and I'm sure a 34 made sense at the time to her cause I just finish eating dinner at a restaurant so I had that full belly bloat going on. Anyway, even still I could easily have worn the 34 on a tigher hook and the next day, when I tried it on again, I realize that indeed a 34 was too big for me. So I ordered a 32DDDD from eBay and figured it would be better. As I type this I'm wearing the bra on the middle hook and ... it's just the right kind of snug.

This bra is really sexy looking. The all black lace and the center bow with the C charm and even the straps have this laddered look to it, not sure what it's called, but it's very beautiful. Unfortunately this is all I like about the bra. It's not comfortable for me. I find the straps and edges of the cup that rub agains my inner arm area to be scratchy. The elastic on the band is also scratchy. The wires in the center gore dig into me, and the bra doesn't stay put. I do have a few theories as to why I think it slips out of my fold.

Firstly, I am soft, full on bottom, pendulous, high roots and average to wide breasted. In order to get this, or any bra, in my fold I have to wear the bra pretty high. On this bra the side of the cup that is attached to the strap is being pressed on by my inner arm and any arm movement. Even if I tighten the straps to help keep the cups in place it would dig into my shoulders and make me more uncomfy, I would end up with some serious chafing with the constant rub a dub dub. So there's that.

The other reason I think this bra doesn't work/doesn't stay put is the shape of the cups. They don't lift my breast. They kind of cradle them just enough so I'm not swinging around. My breast are resting in this bra, and since my tissue is soft, I need a lifting kind of bra that make my girls appear like they aren't just hanging out without nothing to do all day. Does that make sense? Cleo Lily and Lucy and heck, even Ellis lift my boobs and make them look better in general. I realize that those are all balcony styles, but I do have Freyas Pollyanna plunge and I like it better as far as bra comfort feel. And besides, I don't mind a bra that cradles my breast when I'm just hanging around but it can't be bad at its job AND make me want to rip it off. I do need/want a plunge that I could wear come summer time while wearing a v-neck tee, or dress. This, unfortunately isn't it.

  3. The first bra I've found that is a multi-part cup that I fill out and is not padded.
    Love the one hook!
It's a tad too deep for me but it's still supportive.

Cups are way too small for me. Shouldn't have bought it.
The material is very delicate and sexy looking.

The fit of this bra is passable, but not perfect. The cups are too big, but because of the high cut, it's not noticeable. The band is fairly snug as I expect of Chantelle soft cups, but I think it would work better for me a band size down - it's fitting slightly loose on the smallest hook. A 70DD would probably be perfect! The bra itself is cute - I like the webbed lace pattern, and the pattern is interesting despite being a solid colour.

This bra mostly fit me. I am short rooted, projected and pendulous. The gore doesn't quite tack, but I have a lot of immediate projection at the root and unless I am swimming in the cups, I don't expect tacking anymore. The band is true to size and the bra itself is very comfortable. Not scratchy at all and the wires do not poke in the sides. The lace paneling is not stretch, but it is soft and does a good job holding my close set boobs in, which a lot of plunges do not. I do think the cup is a bit bigger than the FF cup it says it is, and fits for like a 38G. I do droop over the bottom of the wire, but I do that in molded cups too, so if you are not as projected as I am, this will be a fantastic bra. Extremely well made, comfortable for hours and worth the money in my opinion.

This is my favorite bra. The fit is just perfect for me - the gore tacks, the cups are perfect, the band is at the perfect tightness. I love the plunge and it's so sexy.

    1. Band is comfortable on my 32ish" torso.
    2. Cups are ever-so-slightly too small after swooping and scooping (noted by small amount of quad-boob).
    3. Gore is nice and low and narrow - this fits well in this area. This is important to me because my breasts are close-set, so higher gores of normal widths cause visible indentations in my cleavage and are super annoying to me. However, I think I need more immediate projection at the center.
    4. A little too wide under the arms, initially, but after fiddling with the wires a bit, the new width fits much better.
    5. After wearing the bra for a bit, the cups slide down in the front, causing the underwire to dig into my rib cage and then causing quad-boob. I believe this means that I need more immediate projection at the base of the cup.
