I like the elastic at the top of the cup. Works well with monthly breast changes.

It comes up really inconveniently high but is really really cute. I wear it under tshirts in scenarios where I don't mind the purple lace poking out a bit. Makes me feel sassy.

Wire poking under right arm but not because wires are too high.

i really dislike this bra. it digs into my armpits, it gives me NO lift. However, it does cover entire side. But i can't wear it due to the armpit discomfort.

When I first put it on, I thought it was waay too large in the cups. But, after scooping and swooping and tightening straps, I realize this is almost a perfect fit for my narrow, projected bottomheavy self. The wires are almost narrow enough, the cups are perfect, and all my underarm flab is neatly encased. It's a lot of bra though, the lace comes up so high on my chest I can only wear this under crew neck or turtleneck shirts. Still, very pretty lace and very comfy (if only the wires weren't so long/high up my sternum/armpits)

FIRST IMPRESSION:
It does not really fit me, but because of the stretchy top of cup, the quadboob effect is lessened. I will wear it until I migrate more and need a bigger cup size.
Wires are too narrow, but they do not poke.
Surprisingly comfortable, even though it's not the right cup size.
Straps are wonderfully placed. When I can afford this bra in a larger cup size, I will purchase it.
AFTER A DAY OF WEARING:
Ugh.
Very uncomfortable for me.
Wires WAY too narrow and painful. By the end of the day: bottom of wire 1/2-inch to 1 inch under my breast, cuts in at least an inch into my sideboob, tilts upward so bottom curve of wire is away from breast and center gore DIGS like there is no tomorrow.
Very wrong cup size - holds bottom of wire away from body.
Band - rides up in back

The only con that I can potentially see at this point on this bra is that it may not be tight enough. I can stretch the band out quite a bit when I have it on, but it's nearly perfect otherwise. I feel supported and comfy. The material perhaps could be a bit softer - if you had sensitive skin it might be considered itchy.

I really like the way this bra fits my boobs in the cups. My only problem with it is that I have to use an extender with it and it fits me fine even though it is not a sister size of my normal 40D/38E . And this is one well made bra. I would for recomend Rive Gauche and Chantelle in general to my friends.

Thought 32 might be too tight so I ordered a 34H. I need a 32, maybe I (US). Can't fill out the bottom of the cup and the straps are a bit too wide, but not as wide set as my Fantasie that keeps slipping off my shoulders. We'll see once I start wearing it. The underwires poke into my armpit, but again not as bad as the other one.
Do I sound like I'm settling? I am. I will keep this one because it fits better than most of the others I have. Even though I don't fill out the bottom (despite scooping and pulling up the ... band and all sorts of other tricks), I think the bra gives me a nice shape. And I have been wearing a reasonably correct size for about a year (and not consistently), so I probably still have some remigrating going on. The bra seems well made.
Update: Dec 2012. Armored breastplate. Wires poke into my armpits. Finally bent them slightly and they feel much better. Feel like they drag my breasts down a little--perhaps because the band is too big.

This is the best bra I have ever owned. The three-part cup and underwire is exactly what I need to support my breasts, i.e., keep them up, separated, and from sagging down or out. It's beautiful, sexy, and comfortable all day.
I was concerned about chafing and discomfort from the underwire and sides being a bit high. Once I got used to the *feeling* of having this particular support, I did not find it uncomfortable. For someone with very soft, sensitive skin, the lace at the sides combined with the higher side may prove uncomfortable. Specifically, this would be when wearing a ... top with a roomy or knit stretchy armscye which does not optimally prevent the upper, inner arm skin from touching the outer side of the bra, higher up toward the armpit while active (particularly when reaching high or lifting something of significant weight and then lowering arms).
I recommend the Shimera camisoles to gently smooth the torso silhouette, and prevent this from being an issue.
This is a very high quality bra. It has flawless construction, the materials will not wear out, the elasticity allows comfort and movement without breaking down over time. It has not stretched out, nor has it come apart anywhere. The hooks in the back have not pulled out, and they are a good quality hook that do not bend out of shape.
This bra runs at about $88. That's an expense I consider seriously before recommending. Instead of buying three or four bras without this level of support, quality, durability, and gosh-darn prettiness, I consider this a worthwhile investment.
