  1. Rive Gauche T-shirt Bra (3086)

The bra is cute and the detailing hides under clothes pretty well, but it is on the expensive side ($76 from Nordstrom). Despite the band being slightly too large for me, it is fairly supportive and very comfortable (and doesn't ride up too badly).

  2. C Chic Sexy Spacer Bra (3585)

This bra fits me very well, with only a little space at the top of my smaller breast. It looks perfectly smooth under a fitted t-shirt and provide a very nice front and center shape with no added size. The spacer fabric is super light, and does not prevent headlights for me. I am also not a fan of the textured straps, although they are adjustable and don't slip at all. The front of the underwire digs in a little, but I will put up with it because the cups are an excellent fit.

I like this bra for the most part, although it cuts in a little on my larger breast, however it is only noticeable when I wear certain tops. The band is a true 30 and fits snugly, and the straps are fully adjustable and convertible. The fabric is very smooth and doesn't show at all under tops, and I think the bra is very comfortable and travels very well in a tightly packed suitcase.

I bought the black version and it is really pretty and is one of the best fitting bras I've tried that don't require any alterations. The band really smooths the back and the straps adjust fully for a petite frame. I have uneven breasts and my right side doesn't quite fill the top, but it is very slight and you don't notice any "dent" with clothes on, and you have to be looking for it in just the bra. It is perfectly smooth under a top and I don't feel like my breasts are loo far apart like some other bras tend to do. It also prevents headlights, which is my pet peeve since I have very prominent nipples and I am always cold! I would buy the beige, but it has white under the lace so afraid it would show through light colored fabrics.

A big disappointment on this one... Wanted it as a t-shirt bra. HerRoom described it as having 3/16" foam padding; however, this bra is completely unlined and cups are made of a single layer of thin fabric. The band is stretchy and not so supportive, and fits more like a 34 (see measurements) -- 2 band sizes too large! The cups are small. Based on its measurements, expect this bra to fit more like a 34A-B.

If you are interested in this specific type of bra (underwire, unlined, molded fabric, no foam) and you have full-ish breasts, try the Fantasie 4520. That bra is much better designed, far better quality, and gives unbelievable lift -- and it retails for $18 less!

Purchased from HerRoom, late Spring 2010.

Incidentally, I will not be ordering from Her Room again anytime soon because they have the worst customer service of any company with which I've ever dealt. Not to worry though, this bra is widely available.

This bra is not owned any more
