I am a shallow and white rooted 30DD, sometimes the 30e. The volume of the cups is pretty decent but it wants a little more upper fullness than I have. Minor gaping on the right side. Still a good support.
I usually prefer taller cups, but this bra was a surprisingly good shape match for me. The fabric used for the gore isn't stiff at all, and the cups are made of memory foam! It really feels like the foam is working with my breast shape rather than against it. The band is larger than I expected, however, and stretches quite a bit more than anticipated.
I've gained weight since I purchased this bra, so it no longer fits all that well. However, it is a pretty bra, so I am not giving it up! The main problem is that the cups are set too far apart (too wide a gore) that it creates a quad boob of my right breast. And I even fall out of the cup at times, so... I should give it up. But the cup encloses my breast well on the sides. Hence, I wear the bra with slightly looser straps, adjust the bra to fit my right breast that is bigger than the left, and deal with the slight misfit in the left.

This is a pretty and flattering bra. Unfortunately for me, the band is too loose, so I don't feel supported adequately. Otherwise, it might have been a nearly perfect bra for me.
Though this bra isn't perfect, I still like it enough to own multiples of it in several colors. The design is nice. The cup's fabric and structure provide good support, even though the band only has one hook. I do wish the cup was fuller in the bottom because my fuller bottom breasts don't sit quite well in the cups. It's the whole orange in a not quite wide-enough goblet effect. Depending on the day of my cycle, the right cup results in a quad-boob, but the left cup fits in a perfect fit.
I prefer wearing bras with molded cups, and I like plunges, so I was pretty excited to try this bra.
Pros: Felt like really nice quality – the wires are padded, and the fabric is silky smooth. I have wide-rooted, shallow boobs – I was able to fill out the bottom of the cup fine, and there was no quadboob or gap at the top. The band feels snug on the loosest setting. Since I normally wear 28/30, this was nice. The straps don't feel too far apart.
Cons: The 65E is the equivalent of a 30DD, which is a cup size down from my usual size. Despite the cup fitting well in the top/bottom, I feel like the cup is too narrow, because it digs into my skin and gives me armpit fat. I wish this bra came in larger cup sizes, so I could see if the larger size would work better for me.
I picked this up (final sale) during my sizing learning curve, and assumed a 30E was the same as 30DDD. However it's not, with Chantelle! This is a beautiful bra with so many design elements; the pleated straps, lovely lace, geometric fabric, and a sparkling gore ornament.
This bra was just too big for me, but I can see it working for larger breasts, especially those with more upper fullness. The cups run at least one size big and pretty high. Wires too wide and high, poking into my armpits and sternum. Couldn't fill the tops of the cup and couldn't keep the bottoms filled, either. Band is great: nice and snug, comfortable, four columns of hooks. Grey color is ok, lace detailing pretty. Well made, sturdy.
So my bf typically refers to nude bras as a "form of contraception" which I guess is fair enough, but for a nude t-shirt bra this is not unattractive and doesn't make me feel like an old lady. Super comfortable, very soft, and well made. Not the sexiest thing on the planet, but gives a nice, natural and seamless shape. Lace is a nice touch. The band is pretty stretchy - enough that I would try to size down if they did 28 bands but not so bad that I have to start on the tightest hook. It took me a while after wearing it/trying it on to realize this bra is actually too big, so if you've got some imperfection or shape differences this bra is probably pretty accommodating. Oh, unlike the spacer foam on the Simone Perele Caresse, this bra does a good job on nipple control: no show-through
This bra is very pretty, and I love the low plunge. The band is pretty stretchy and runs big. The lace is a stretchy overlay that lies loose on top of the cup. It's begging to get ripped - my fingernails have snagged it repeatedly just trying it on. While it's comfortable, I don't think it's the best fit. Even after scooping and swooping I've got space left over in different places, mostly ( I think) due to the cups being a little shallow and wide.
This bra is pretty and gives great support. It works for shallow, but maybe not for very shallow breasts. The wires are wide and rather short. The straps are rather wide. They are made of a rough fabric with many tiny folds. I guess this helps against slipping, but the fabric is very uncomfortable. For me, the cups are slightly too large, but the bra doesn't show under a t-shirt. Such a pity to have to return this bra.
Super sexy bra, it is sooo pretty!! I wear it without the push up pads since I don't like push up bras, I have inner fullness so I don't wear this bra that much because my boobs pop out in the middle of the bra, other than that it is very comfortable.
When I purchased this from Nordstrom Rack it was supposed to be a 30E. They actually shipped me a 30DD. But even taking that into account, this bra still runs at least 1 size small in the band and 1 size small in the cups. Seems really comfortable and well-made...if only it fit me...
Wide underwires which works for my wide roots. I am still spilling out the sides under my underarms a bit. I didn't quite fill the top of the cup at first bc I am shallow on top, but the moulded cups hid that fact. Now it seems either the memory foam eventually conformed to my shape so I fill it or I am just PMSing. In fact with my PMS it is cutting into my breast tissue on top so I wouldn't recommend for any fot women. It is comfortable to wear. As others have said the band is stretchy and loose. ... I sewed the band in a bit so it fits better. I would prefer smaller band sizes in Chantelle. The cups are only moulded so I find my shape is so-so. I like the wire width but wish they had more padded bras to push my splayed breasts in and my fob, shallow top breasts up. I will say it is comfortable to wear and I do like wearing it as an everyday bra. I have the multi-position straps for this style which is great for wear umder all kinds of tops. I don't know if it is meant to be a strapless but heck for my boat neck tshirt I got, I am definitely wearing this as a strapless! I find the price a bit expensive but honestly, I am just glad it fits! Denise5 Read more 145 more words
This used to be my absolute everyday go-to bra. I really don't care for the thick foam in most bras, and this spacer material is a great alternative. It doesn't fully prevent show through, but I don't really care when my nipples show. I really like the rounded silhouette it gives, and the straps are nicely set, not too wide like so many bras these days, so they don't dig in to my armpits. There's a bit of empty space at the bottom of the cup on me as there's not enough space there for my FOB/shallow breasts, but the cup fits relatively well ...because of the full coverage. I have this in a 30d as well, and depending on my weight/time of the month, I can wear both comfortably. However, as of the past month, the wires have really been digging into my ribs, especially in the 30dd. It may just be that I need to replace it, that it's worn out. But it seems like all wired bras are digging into me these days. I tried bending the wires a bit but it's still hurting my ribs. I'm a bit sad to have lost my go-to everyday bras, but hope that at some point the wires stop hurting me and I can go back to wearing them. Read more 123 more words
This bra is super shallow! Maybe the shallowest bra I have ever tried, more than the Natori Feathers. I am shallow-ish, so this bra is a little too shallow for me. The middle edge of the bra kind of juts out from my boobs as my boobs try to push forward. I do love the way it looks and the color and extremely low and comfortable gore though.
First of all, this bra is beautiful, which I think is difficult to find in larger cup sizes. Material seems nice, but the mesh band seems like it might be a bit too stretchy. I also have this in a 32 band, which has 2 hook closures and thicker straps. This has only 1 hook closure, which seems kind of ridiculous! Not enough support.
My chest just grew, so I'm still trying to figure out my correct size. If I scoop and swoop, my nipples pop out the top of the cup. Also, the underwire doesn't come high enough at the sides. This is may be due to my ordering the wrong size, though.
