I love this bra! It gives a great rounded and natural shape while being extremely feminine in appearance and also very supportive. I felt amazing it in all day long. I highly recommend it to any woman with large, heavy breasts. One of my new favorite bras. I bought the 34g in Chantelle. As a reference I tend to fit great into a 32ff in Freya and Fantasie.
34: 7 Index Size (2 cup sizes smaller than my usual cup size) (usual index size= 34: 9) Pros: -Fairly Comfortable -Good everyday/ work bra--hides cleavage, minimizes bust size -Cup Seams offer decent support--2 vertical seams, 1 diagonal -Underwire does not stab me - Band has 4 columns of hooks --theoretically allows for a nearly 2 inch adjustment
Cons: -Underwires are NOISY/ Creaky. Even when not wearing the bra, the contact of the wires with the wire channel fabric results in a creaky/ squeaky sound(this has been my experience in all my Chantelle bras.) -Underwires slightly wide. - Cups are 1 size smaller than my usual size, so they cut into the tissue at the top - Straps are wider than I would like, leading to minor discomfort when moving arms horizontally across my body (cups/ straps cut into sides of arm) -Band: I can already hook it on the tightest wire, but that might be in part due to my measurements and squishyness (my snug underbust measurement is 33")
I have this in beige and black, fit seems to be the same for both.
There's some kind of incompatibility here, and I'm not sure if its the size or the shape. The cups seem to be too wide, and I don't quite fill the bottom so there's a little bit of creasing. It feels like maybe there's extra room in there, but the top of the cup fits okay and I'm worried that sizing down will cause quadding. The wires are pretty wide, which isn't helping me either.
Band seems to be true to size, maybe a tiny bit small. I can often get away with a 32 band in other bras but not here. It's comfortable (4 hooks, nice and wide). The shape is find under shirts and it's comfortable.
I bought this bra three years ago, lost it in my move, and just now found it. I've since lost 35 pounds so it totally doesn't fit. It's BNWT.
It has one of the stretchiest bands I've ever seen. Even though it's listed as a 34, it stretches up to 38 inches. The cups are foam-lined and seem to be comfortable. The straps connect to become a racer-back.
Overall I like the way the bra fits. The cups are silky and stretchy but still have some slight lining that gives a smooth look. Pluses for looking good under a tshirt, nude but interesting design, and for the 4 row hook which is great.
However, the top part does wrinkle for me so maybe i lack upper fullness. Despite this, I also have underboob fat on both sides. This is possibly migrated tissue or the effect of a minimizer style bra. So for those reasons, it's not perfect.
Have just got this bra and only wore it once but the first impression is perfect. The cups are very compatible with my shape with the wires ending exactly where my tissue does. The straps are fully adjustable and very comfortable, though not extremely wide. The band is slightly wider and has 3 hooks and eyes which makes it very comfortable because of the weight distribution over a larger surface. Last but not least, the appearance is bedroom worthy, which is a big plus for such a comfortable bra.
I ordered this bra online as it looked like a comfortable everyday option, which it is. The bra fits comfortable, though the band is slightly loose (I started it on the middle set of hooks instead of the loosest), no problems with wires being to wide or straps irritating my armpits. The bra has a polkadot velvet all over which can make it bulky when wearing just a tshirt. I usually wear a tank top beneath literally everything and that makes the appearance really smooth.
Love the band fit and crossed straps on this bra, but the cups are much larger than I would expect from a US 34 DDDD. My tissue didn't come close to filling it. I bought this bra through a Reddit.com posting but would consider it either NWOT or very lightly used-- their are no signs of wear.
I've owned this bra for about a year, and probably worn it 2/3 of the time since I got it. It looks great on and is very comfortable. From the measurements it appears to have stretched out 2 inches in the past year. I'd definitely buy this bra again.
I was only able to exchange the 70G(that was way too tight), so I went with a 75G. The 75F quadraboobed just as much as the 70G, but I can't quite fill the 75G at the top. It's not terribly noticeable so I figured I'd just deal with it instead of spending even more money on another bra to exchange.
I love the round shape it gives me, and the wire width and height is perfect. But that's about all I love about it.
The straps have a ruffle thing going on and it can be a bit scratchy if I move a certain way. The gore digs ...in just a bit but it's possible that bending the wires slightly would alleviate that. The cup also comes up too close to my armpit/tail of spence and tends to dig in painfully there whenever my arms out front. Like while I'm driving or typing on the computer(which is what I do for work). So I end up with a nice red, tender line on my tail of spence/armpit fat by the time I take my bra off.
The biggest problem I have with this bra is that I think there's a defect. I've uploaded two pics of this. The band is cut in such a way that I feel like it should have the more narrow 2 hook clasp attached. However, it has the wider 2 hook clasp attached instead which means theres a gap of about .5" that is isn't connected to the actual band(only the decorative lace). It's like dagger corners stabbing me in the back. I've sent an email to the store to see if they can confirm if this is a defect. Read more 178 more words
Sometimes a bra technically fits you, but isn't right for you. This is that bra for me. It hit all the marks of a fitting bra, but it just wasn't for me. The cups squished my breasts in a little and were slightly east/west on me. It's a shame because this bra is constructed nicely and is a beautiful basic.
I love the look of this bra in the navy colorway. The cups are moulded, which is probably why I didn't get on with it. I wish that the cups were a bit deeper as well. The straps can be converted into other styles.
I really wish that this bra ran a bit larger. The spacer material felt amazing on my boobs. I would even try and find it in a sister size because it was so comfortable. There is also an inner sling in the inside that helps to support. The straps have this cute crinkle detail that add to to what could be considered a basic bra.
This bra is gorgeous! I am in love with it! This is my favorite out of the bras I own. The color is just so beautiful and vibrant and I really like the fabric. The only thing that bothers me a little is the straps; they have this roucheing(sp?) design that sort of scratchy and irritating. Other than that I love this bra! EDIT: I've completely changed my mind about this bra. Though it is beautiful, it just doesn't fit. I get quadboob AND gaping on the bottom of the cups. Also, the band is too big.
While this bra initially fit well, it quickly stretched out, to the point where it is uncomfortably loose. I also experienced some tissue migration after wearing it for a while, so the gore no longer tacks and I quad boob when I scoop and swoop. I also had to get rid of the tag because it was crazy itchy, and the straps refuse to stay up and adjusted properly - I often have to fix them several times a day. The bands are much too wide for my breasts as well.
The cups fit really great. (Only a bit of wrinkles in the top and the elastics at the edge cut in just a little, if we're being picky.) The band however was too big. I wish I could find the sister size.
The fabric was soft and sturdy, but the wires seemed somewhat weak.
