    Didn't fit

I bought this Maddie after measuring "correctly"for the first time. Unfortunately, I didn't measure correctly! Lol. The cup is too high, and too open. The straps are too wide-set and cut into my underarm area. The strap seems decent enough for tightness, although I do use the middle hooks. I think I bought this one on sale and it didn't come in 28E, which I would like to try at some point.

After purchasing another Maddie in 30DD, I realized all my fit issues with this one had to do with the fact that it simply is too big for me. I am pretty happy with this cut, in the correct size, of course!

I have quite a bit of separation (3 fingers) between boobs and they are quite shallow (and fairly even vertically, but slightly FOB), so this bra fits very well with the exception of the gore, which doesn't tack even when wearing the band at sufficient tightness. The band is too wide, which means it needed a bit of modification to fit to said sufficient tightness...achieved this by sewing the loop portion of a bra extender to the band next to the existing loops.

I have to adjust it every 6-8 hours, but otherwise not a huge problem. Straps are perfect.

Cup width seems as bit narrow. Or the shallowness is causing it to cut in on the sides. I'm not sure how easy it is to see in the photos, but the cups are obviously deforming on the outer sides. Also this seems to be pushing up my under arm flesh. I forget what that area is called right now.

Band is easy to put on, not extra tight.

You can see in my photos that after a few hours of wear, i repositioned it as it had slid down.

The cup smoothness is nice and I like how it looks otherwise. I'd like to find something like this but with slightly more immediate projection at the sides and bottom?

Texture - fabric catches at rough edges of skin easily. Soft and comfortable

Aside from my EM CH Onyks, the Cleo Maddie is my favorite bra model. I love the moulding of the cups and support and cleavage it gives to my FoB immediately projected and slightly wide set boobs. Low-cut although with a fairly high gore, so not good for plunge necklines (I wish this had a plunge gore).

As for this particular bra, I sized down in the band when I bought this because I was thinner. However, I *thought* I had to go up two cup sizes to get the same fit as the 30E, because I didn't understand fit as well as I do now. The cup size is, as everyone would say, one too large. So I can wear 30E and 28F in Cleo Maddie....but not 28FF. There is gaping in this one for me.

This is a wonderful T-Shirt bra for support and round shaping. My only problem with it is the straps are set SO WIDE. This is not noticeable under clothing, although it can irritate my skin when the weather is hot. I hate "traditional" push up bras that are stuffed with awkward padding. This bra is lined, but not padded, and its shape gives me what I would like from a "push-up" bra without adding bulk. Because my bras size is so small, every extra bit of padding/bulk/adornment gets in the way of "natural" shaping. Maddie is similar to my favorite bra ever, Panache Porcelain, but Maddie is better for low-cut clothing.

I had the Maddie Orange animal print in 28GG and it was too small in the cups, so I thought the cobalt blue in 28H would be a good fit.
Unfortunately this one doesn't work either, as the center gore comes up too high and it digs into the sternum -quite painfully.

The bra itself is really nice though, beautiful blue, with a cute orange/pink ribbon at the gore.
The 'stripey' design on the fabric also adds a nice look to it.

The band is nice and firm, although it could be a little tighter (this is probably more because I lost some weight though).
The underwire is perfect for my shape, going ... far enough on the sides.
Again, with the center gore coming up so high, I pointed out a few issues for my shape : the wires are digging into the sternum, and the top of the cups are cutting into the breast tissue (not sure exactly how).

I'll try to add some more details soon...

    --------------

I'm not sure if I should keep it or not :
The cups on this size are absolutely perfect.
I love the shape under clothes and the fact that the straps are not too wide which makes it perfect for strappy tops, the underwires -for once- are not poking my under arms, but the wires at the centre are just so painful, I can't wear the bra more than 2 minutes!
I thought about shortening the underwires but not sure it will be comfortable once it's done. I might just try to sell it and find a bra that actually works for me...

    What a shame!!

I am tall, with low, wide, shallow, widely spaced, FOB breasts and a promient sternum. I am typically between a 32 and 34 band and either a D or DD cup. I currently wear my Maddie with an extender and the band fits fine that way. Something about the shape of the cups just doesn't fit me exactly right - I think the gore comes up too high to be truly compatible with my sternum (even with a little bending). The straps also dig in to my shoulders even with them extended fully - they aren't as stretchy as I'd like. The lace at the top of the cup also shows under thin t-shirts, which I don't like in a so-called t-shirt bra. The band is also a tad scratchy, although I have sensitive skin and that may go away with a wash or two.

I just got this in the Raspberry colorway, so I'll update if anything changes, but for now, this bra just made me so, so, so happy! I've been struggling to figure out what the heck my shape is - decently projected FOB, but tall, wide, and very shallow on top, most balconnets that are *supposed* to work for me cut into my higher up tissue. Not Maddie!!! Somehow it even fits both my bigger AND smaller boob! (It's about a 30DD and 1/4th vs my larger E lol). I regretfully went to Victoria's Secret last weekend attempting to find some 32DD T shirt bras and had a miserable experience that ended with multiple associates in my fitting room telling me longer underwires didn't exist and "every bra will fit if you're in the right size" and was starting to feel like I was imagining my whole bra size revolution. Maddie has restored my faith. I'll be getting multiple colors.

  10. Aside from my new Polish CH Onyks, this is my favorite bra ever. I love the moulding of the cups and support and cleavage it gives. After 16 hours of a wear it does get a bit bothersome, but normal day-length wear is great. Cups are filled without gapping or quadding, although if I wear a compression tank I'll get a little quadding. Low-cut although a fairly high gore, so not good for plunge necklines (I wish this had a plunge gore).
