    Didn't fit

My first purchase from the SS2014 collection! I'd say Panache has stepped up their game.

All the reviews I read indicated that this bra runs big, so I took their advice and got a cup size smaller than usual. I'm very glad I did; this feels just like a 28E from previous seasons. The band is definitely a firm 28.

Pixie looks the most similar to Bella from a previous season, but unfortunately I don't own a Bella to compare it to! I can say that the top mesh section of the cup allows for about the same volume as Marcie does. The top section is definitely not as loose/big ... as Ellis, but it is larger than Lily. It fits me very well, just like Marcie does, and I'm very full on top.

The straps have been updated this season and they're very comfortable. The material is thinner and the plastic adjustments are smaller. I don't think they dig in as much. In wonderful news, this is the MOST COMFORTABLE center gore yet on an unpadded Cleo! Normally I have to pad it to break it in, but I just wore this for a few hours without pain!

The only minor complaint I have about this bra is that it has the same short wires/low wings that the Lily does. I have a sizable Tail of Spence and get that armpit tissue spilling out the sides. However, it's invisible under clothing.

Also note that the sizing scheme got bizarre this season -- see the bra label.

    Fits

About me: size 30FF/G or 32F/FF but most comfortable in 30G. Very projected, close set breasts with short and narrow roots. Even vertical fullness and center full. Best fitting bra is Cleo Lily in 30G.

After I got my 30G - Panache » Floris Balconnet Bra (7311) , another Marcie sister cut that ended up fitting pretty poorly, I was very worried about how the Pixie would fit. However, I can say that the Pixie is VERY different from Floris. My biggest problems with Floris were in cup quadding, the very stiff band, and the very long wire length. Pixie solves all of these problems, ... perhaps even a little too well!

Pixie has a very comfortable band that is snug but not to the extent where I need an extender. The wires are low and narrow, so while the gore goes into my tissue slightly on one side (like all non plunge bras) it actually lays flat. The wires are also short enough that I have no armpit poking. I have no quadding, but I actually have some slight wrinkling of the top mesh. I believe that this is caused by the straps being too wide for me, but I have very narrow shoulders so I have this problem with many bras, especially Cleo ones. The projection seems good, and this bra has very high lift.

It's not the perfect fit, but it's close and very comfortable. I also love the design and color of this bra, so in my eyes it's a keeper!

  3. The first thing I love about this bra are the colours and the print. I don't like purple generally, but it works well with the rest of the colours, especially the orange. As typical of Cleo bras, it gives good lift and a nice rounded shape. Not really a fan of the band material, it feels like spandex. I prefer the mesh material, but that's a minor issue.

I generally wear a 30F in cleos, but according the the reviews here, it fits big. I can confirm that it does as it fits similarly size wise compared to the Lizzie I have in 30F. The band does feel slightly ... tight, but will loosen up with wear. The cups are very open on top, which is great for full on top breasts. I have no issues with the top edge cutting in. The gore pokes a lot near the end of the day, so I will probably need to bend them outwards for comfort. The straps are pretty stretchy but comfortable.

Overall, I really like this bra. I feel lucky that I was able to get it!

    Fits

I've had this bra for quite some time now, and feel that I can say with confidence that it is by far my favourite bra! Here's why:

This bra fits my even FoB, projected shape perfectly. The cups of this bra are very deep which gives me a lot of room. It unfortunately does not create a perfectly rounded shape, but more of a pointed shape (I believe this is due to the depth and projection of the cups) but it is not a huge concern for me. All my breast tissue is encapsulated by the cups and project forward, so from the front I look quite a bit ... smaller than I do in other bra styles.

The band stays put all day long and is very firm, yet comfortable. The straps never slip. Also, the pattern and colour of this bra is just beautiful! I have quickly made this my favourite bra and practically wear it every day.

If you have fairly even FoB (image 2/5 on /r/abrathatfits) breasts and need some room and projection in your cups, I would recommend trying the Cleo Pixie!

I've just purchased the Cleo Nyla bra (it should be fairly similar in size, style and shape as it is based on the Pixie) and can't wait to review it here; it just has to arrive first!

  5. The bras that fit me best at this moment are mostly in 30dd (EM Femme Fatale and Cappuccino, Cleo Meg), my Cleo Melissa and Bella are still ok in the cups, but the underwires dig into sternum which means the cup is a little bit too big. I also read some reviews saying that Pixie runs a little big in the cups, so I decided to go for a 30dd and it seems it is the best fit possible.

The cup volume is similar to Cleo Meg, but the shape is slightly different, more rounded and the cup edge isn’t so closed. The only signs of a to small ... cup is a kind of bulging (filled with my soft breast tissue) I get on the horizontal seam, a kind of in-cup quad boob effect, and a little low wings/cups under the armpits, but it’s not enough to go up a size.

As all Cleo bras, Pixie gives a great uplift, the wires are narrow and the band is firm. The only difference are a little wider straps.

My only little complaint is about the cup wrinkling on the smaller breast (visible on the pic). I wouldn’t put it down to a too big cup, but a different breast shape.

    Didn't fit

The cut is similar to Cleo Marcie (6831), but Pixie allows for much more volume in the upper part of the cup!

Marcie in 30E fits me well, but I don't have enough volume to fill the Pixie and therefore it's wrinkling in the upper cup.
Might work better in a cup size smaller (I didn't try that out).

I highly suspect this cut is similar to Cleo Chloe (6601), Cleo Ellis (7211) and Cleo Millie Balconnet Bra (7231). It's great for full-on-top shapes.

    Didn't fit

Oh boy this bra is big!! I have pink Marcie 30F that fits, but this one has waaay bigger cups!! I measured the cup depth 26 cm!

I´ve read that the pink Marcie runs smaller all over than other colour variations, but I´ve also read a review, that mentioned pink being a little smaller but that didn´t affect the fit in her case. That´s why I ordered 30F. I will be exchanging it for 30E.

The band is nice and snug, okay for me. My tight underbust measurement is 26 inches and I usually need 28 band. So the band runs (at least almost) as small in Pixie than in ... the pink (and other colours?) Marcie.

Otherwise this is like Marcie (pink), I guess. Materials are of course different, this has less lace.

The shorts are also bigger than in pink Marcie. I need UK14 in pink Marcie, but Pixie shorts UK14 fit quite loose, but I´m still going to keep them, because I don´t like tight shorts. It could be that UK12 would be better, but I m not going to risk it. I usually wear EU M / UK12.

    • How is the cup shape? Is it open on top, or is it more closed? Are the cups deep? The Marcie is a little bit too deep for me, so I hope the Pixie is more shallow like the Melissa because it's so freakin cute! :)

    • I just want to add here that the cup shape seems like the Cleo Meg Balconnet (6751) to me more than the Marcie

    • dang. it. :( I was REALLY hoping that was not the case, because I LOVE this print. Lately it feels like all the george-cut balconettes have been more Meg-shaped... I want the Melissa shape back :(

    • Sorry, but I cannot estimate the shape anymore, because I already sent the bra back :(

However, this is supposed to be cut like Marcie and I didn´t question it. I think the cup shape was the same than Marcie but this I can say for sure when the 30E arrives.

    • I think it was as open on top as Marcie.

    Hasn't set fit

I took a risk getting a 30E. I'm usually 30F with Cleo. I was hoping with this open on top and at the cusp of the depth I usually require I'd be alright but I think it's really a little too small for me. I seem to be able to get away with 9.1" with narrow wires around 4.9-5.2" but not 9" I guess :/
This is a fun print, reminds me of the 70s in a good way. I wish it would have fit. Cut seems similar to the Ellis and Bella to me.

This bra does not fit me well. I think this is meant for shorter roots because I feel like the wings and cups aren't tall enough. This makes for a very unflattering fit. I also feel like I might need a bigger cup size.

    Didn't fit

The first time I saw this print months ago, I wasn't really feeling it. It slowly grew on me until the day it arrived at my door, and then when I opened it I was in love. I'm not a fan of orange/yellow, but this bra is just so pretty.

Unfortunately, i find it much more open on top than my Cleo Marcie, both in turquoise 30E and pink 30F. I feel the fit problems I get with it were very similar to fit problems I had with the Melissa in 30F - not enough projection, too open on top.

I wore it around for a bit despite ... the gaping lace, and oh man, I've never felt so round and lifted. None of my other Cleo bras make me feel this way. I'm going to try to make this bra work for this reason.

My favorite part of this bra is the fabric. No more mesh! The printed fabric is so soft and smooth - I love it after mostly wearing my Lucy and Marcie. I want to find a fitting Cleo bra in this fabric now!
