Looks wise, I really like the bright red colour and the button detail in the centre gore is really cute. That being said, I was pretty disappointed with the fit of the cups. I was expecting it to fit like the Lizzie but in my opinion it's totally different. I found the top edge to be slightly tight across the breast tissue and cause a small dent on my left side (not really a quadraboob, but it was enough to bother me). The Marcie gave me less lift compared to the Lizzie as well.
It fits well. It just looks a little odd. It doesn't give a cleavage really. It kind of covers my boob area. A size smaller would definitely be too small though. It looks good under clothes and is comfortable and a good colour.
I love this bra so far. It gives my boobs a great shape. Separated and up. Comfy to wear all day and looks gorgeous. I got the matching shorts and it looks almost like a bikini!
The wire is quite narrow and cuts really badly at my armpit. The center gore is really high and left me bruised. My boobs also spilled a bit towards the centre, even with the high gore, since the cups are quite seperated from one another https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> When I put it on it fit okay, but my boobs bulge just a bit. But after wearing it for just a short while, I was red and sore from the wire. Very very uncomfortable. I didn't get muscle pains as much as with some. But I will never wear this again, it was extremely painful. It's a shame since the cup itself was alright except for a little bulge. The band was probably too tight, but I think a bigger band may be too big. A bigger cup would have an even higher center so I don't think that would work.
BLACK 32H - Lovely fit, very rounded shape thanks to the vertical seam. I only tried it on quickly as I have the Cleo Ellie which is the same cut/fit and I needed a plain black one. I will probably end up buying one in the beige colour as well.
It fits fine, it's just not as pretty as I was hoping for. The lace is somewhat frumpy because it isn't very delicate; it would probably look better if it weren't the exact same color as the bra.
Strange fitting bra. One cup very loose the other cup very tight. My breasts measure identical. No other bra has had this problem on me.
Did not fit comfortably but did give a nice rounded shape. However, my breasts had quad boob whenever I put my shoulders back wearing this bra. Next size up was too big.
I've found this bra material to be stretchier than most, and therfore, looser than I would like. I usually wear something like a 30F, but bought this in a 32E because many of them feel a bit too tight. That was a mistake, as I'd prefer a 30 in this for sure.
The bra feels lighter weight than my other moulded-cup / T-shirt bras, which I like.
The color is really nice, some combination of red, coral, and hot pink. (Not a true red, so don't expect to be able to match it with anything). Straps that were once a very light silvery blue have since trurned lilac/lavender from washing with red clothes.
Its too big but I wear it an jiggle anyway because it's the only one in my drawer that doesnt give me a quadboob I couldnt bare to part with it as it is so pretty and gives that well known cleo shape... I get A LOT of projection though, it is a true shelf bra and I was a bit shy when I wore it to work because it didnt go unoticed. It really puts them out there... And its a great feeling but I would like somthing as pulled in from the sides, but with a tad less projection for everyday wear. Oh, and 3 hooks and wider straps if possible https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I have previously reviewed the Cleo Rihanna Bra, which is essentially the same bra with a different pattern.
The Darcy fits pretty similar. I went with the same size (28H) and it worked well. Darcy does seem to be a little tighter than Rihanna. I could still wear it right away, but it will likely take some more breaking in.
I really like the pattern on this bra. It's a little different and the colors are pretty bold. The straps are fully adjustable, which they are not on the Rihanna.
This bra suprised me. Plunge styles are often a fail on me but this is a great fit. It's a *very* comfy bra to wear. In fact I liked it so much I bought a couple of them. I get a bit of quad boob on my bigger side after scooping but if I give the girls a bit of a jiggle everything settles into the cup nicely.
The moulding is a little thicker than I would like but I can live with it. They look smooth under t-shirts and the bra is often advertised as a t-shirt bra, but they all come in bright colour combos ...so will be very visible under light coloured shirts. Ok if you are doing the underwear as outerwear thing I guess!
I'm going to have to revise this review, after several weeks I found that this bra just didn't wear well and some minor issues became a very big problem because of it. The band felt stretchier than normal in this bra and I should have tried the 28 instead. As soon as the bra started to stretch I had massive quadboobs and the center gore was pulling away from my chest. Bringing the bra in to a tighter hook brought the gore back in but there is just no escaping the quadboob problem. My measurements haven't changed so I think the band starting to stretch just highlighted the fact that the fit wasn't quite right to begin with.
I now think a size 28 e or f would probably be closer to the right size for me but I've just decided not to bother as I think in a larger cup I am going to have way too much bra in the underarm area and this is just the wrong style of bra for me. When I compare this to my Panache porcelain which is also a moulded bra I can see that the Jude has a much flatter, shallower cup - which is generally what I need but in this case it seems to be too much of a good thing. The Jude is moulded from a much thicker foam which is also probably contributing to the problem as it seems like there is less room in the bra as a result. Read more 272 more words
The greatest fitting bra I've ever worn. I read that Ellie ran a tad smaller in the cup, but had a stretchier band. My underbust is 33" so I went for the 32 band and I'm so glad I did. I wear it on the loosest hook but some days can wear it on the middle hook comfortably firm. The band never rides up now as it does on my 34" backs. The cut of this bra is beautiful, a very rounded shape, and I love the print. The only hang up I have (and I think this is just the brand in general) is that the cups sit quite wide, seemingly wider than a Freya 34G I own... not to the point that it's uncomfortable, but there is no way I could go a higher band size which I may need for less stretchy materials in this brand.
Gorgeous colours, gives me a great rounded shape. Comfortable straps.
This size was too small for me. The band is bigger than on the Cleo Lucy in the same size but still feels a bit too tight. The cup is too small though and cuts in at the top and doesn't fully enclose my breast tissue.
I think I should try this in a 32FF? That woulg give me a band size higher and a cup size higher.
I have this in yellow and i love the colour. Unfortunately this size doesn't fit me. The band feels to tight, and I'm not sure it will stretch out enough with wear. And either way, the top of the cup digs in to my breast so those are too small as well, even though the lace is a bit stretchy, and not as hard as it is on the Bonnie for example.
Other than that I love how this feels and the shape it gives my breast.
I think I should try this in a 32FF for a correct size.
I can fasten the band, but it feels too tight, and I can see the wires being distorted by the tension. The cup fits almost right on my larger breast, but it gapes badly on the smaller one (probably 1/2 cup difference between the two). The fabric is quite stiff, which I find is often a problem for my asymmetry. I could see how the stiffer fabric might be more supportive for some, though.
I was afraid the bird print would be too kitsch, but it's pretty subtle.
The band's length measures almost the same as the Marcie, but it has *very* little stretch. I can't even get it closed, and would have to go up to a 32 in this model. The cup measures slightly more shallow than the Marcie (I remeasured to be sure), and yet I'm still getting gaping at the upper edge of the cup...maybe just more fabric on the upper part in this model? The fabric on this is a lot stiffer than on the Marcie, which may be part of the issue.
I got this in a 30GG because I have really come to like my Sasha but always wish the cups were just a little bit bigger. The shape of the Meg is similar to the Sasha, so I figured I was safe in ordering a cup size up, same band size.
The band size is great. However, it is much larger than I expected in the cups. I would probably be safe with a G, possible a FF for my "small" days.
The fabric is very pretty. I like the navy and red combo. I will likely exchange for a 30G.
Due to weight loss, I lost a lot of volume in my breasts so it's extremely difficult to find a bra that is flattering. This bra is very pretty and I feel like it makes my breasts look great! Because I'm not so full on top, the tops of the cups wrinkle a bit, tightening the straps and wearing them at their widest point on my shoulders seems to alleviate this but the straps are just too wideset for me. I never considered myself to have narrow shoulders but the outside tops of the cup/bottoms of the straps cut in pretty hard unless I maintain perfect posture.
This bra is marketed on the Bravissimo website for those who love the Cleo "Alexa" and "Olivia" styles. However they are not entirely comparable. The Zia bra cups come much higher and also have a pointier shape than the aforementioned styles. Also there is stretch both in the band and in the straps which Alexa and Olivia did not have.
I reckon the fuller cups could be a problem for someone with really full on top breasts. Also the pointier look needs getting used to, if like me you're used to the Alexa/Olivia shape. The uplift is great and this Bravissimo exclusive colour is beautiful.
