I bought this in SS14's colorway, which is the yellow. I find the fit is consistent with the other colorways I own (I have purple, pink, and aquamarine).
Band stretches to 28", the top of the cup is open enough for my FoT boobs, shape is rounded, straps are fully adjustable. All in all, one of my favourite bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
I've had this Ellie bra for a while. It was one of my favorite bras when I bought it, and still one of my favorites, but I think that it is slightly bigger than the current Junas. The unstretched band itself is a bit longer than by newest Juna in strawberry, and I have owned it for a while, so the band now stretches up to 30". Because of this, I have to wear it on the shortest hook. And in terms of hooks, one thing I DO wish about the Juna style is that they would make FF and G cups three hooks, instead of two.
Otherwise, the ...fit is pretty typical of the Juna style. Comfortable lightly padded cups, and the bra itself scoops pretty low, so it's easy to wear under low cut shirts. It doesn't create a ton of cleavage, but enough to make your boobies look pretty.
I may try finding a new Ellie in my same size (28G). I was pretty rough on my bras when I first owned this, so I think that's partially why it has degraded a bit with wear and tear (and being worn REALLY regularly during summer months). Read more 90 more words
Really confused because this is supposed to fit the same as the Lucy.
28FF in this bra was too tight in the cups, gave quad boob effect. 28G is too big in the cups, have wrinkling but the top of the cup still cuts into my breast after wearing.
Neither 30FF nor 30G in this style fit either.
Also the lace is very scratchy and this is generally an uncomfortable bra. Too bad because it's very cute.
The shape is really pointy and cone-like, nothing like on the model. It forces my bottom-heavy breasts upwards and outwards in a really unflattering way, almost like madonna. If you have top-heavy breasts, I think this bra would be fine though (in the right size of course). On me, I think that any size is just not going to work. I should have bought it in a 28GG but there were only 28Gs left - that's the problem with buying sale items online!
The back is also enormous, I have it fastened on the tightest hook and it is still barely hanging on.
edit - I've grown and now the fit issues with this bra mean it is no longer wearable, I would need a 28H as there is lots of double boob going on. The band is still too big.
This bra ALMOST fits perfectly. The wires are too wide, so they don’t sit where the root of my breast is (on the side) There’s also a little gapping where my breast meets my chest
The wire is too wide, it does too far back under my arm. And the cups are slightly too deep. When I press around the center of the bra while it’s on, my breasts fill out the shape and they appear to fit much better.
I got this bra second-hand. I'm thrilled to try it since the Marcie has been discontinued.
The lace is floppy on my smaller side but it doesn't show through under clothes. I’ll likely place a small dart on that side eventually.
It’s comfortable and supportive, just like my Cleo Blossoms.
I’ll hand-wash & air-dry it, then return to measure it.
Edit: I returned to measure after wearing, washing, & air drying. It’s late, but I wanted to add that I love this bra - as in, my heart is fluttering “love” 💕. I am happy Cleo continues making 28FF - Cleo » Blossom (10581’) & other styles.
The Cleo Blossom has been a favorite of mine, coming in just after Comexim. I have several Blossoms in size 28FF. I'm worried they're going to discontinue it and recently haven't been able to find size 28FF. I found this 28G on eBay from https://www.belle-lingerie.co.uk
There is wrinkling at the top of the cup on my smaller side. The wires are also longer than my 28FF Blossom, but not poking. I considered returning this bra. However, after wearing it for 8 hours today while running errands and cleaning - neither of these issues bother me.
The gore lies flat, and the band is snug. I ...feel uplifted and supported. The raspberry-red colorway is new to me, but I love it.
I need to shorten the strap on my smaller side to accommodate asymmetry. I am noting mild irritation where the strap edge meets the cup at the ToS/armpit area. Hopefully, this will improve with wash and wear. If not, I have an idea for an alteration.
On a positive note, I was getting an odd side indent on my larger side in my 28Ff Blossom. This does NOT happen in this size 😁
Edit: I added a dart on the right cup to accommodate wrinkles & gapping. Photos added. Read more 103 more words
Raspberry colorway
This bra's measurements have been altered
A small dart was added to the top of the right cup.
This one fits well and has a nice pattern. The straps extend just barely enough, and ironically I could wish the band were a little tighter to start, but it is comfortable all the same.
This one is another close one. *sigh* Once again, the cups feel the tiniest bit too small on deep inhales. But the real problem from me is that the material just feels a little prickly - not quite comfortable.
I recently obtained this bra from a fellow bratabase friend, Sonya. It arrived as described and packaged with care.
Unfortunately, it doesn't fit. My soft and asymmetric breasts are always a challenge! I thought about altering the straps, but I think I'd still have space on my smaller side. It's unfortunate because the gore and wires are perfect, although the band is a touch loose.
This bra gives a rounded shape and the band fits so comfortably. The wires don't dig into my rib cage, which can be a problem for me. The gore tacks nicely and doesn't dig into my sternum, which is another problem I have with certain bras.
However, the overall fit just isn't correct for me. The wires sit below my IMF and the straps are a little too wide. My biggest fit issue is that the area where the cup meets the straps is too high or wide...I'm not quite sure. The result is that the area where the strap meet the bra digs into my outer armpit ...area. Also, the molded cups fit smoothly when I stand straight, but if I pull my shoulders back I get slight quad boob on my bigger side and if I slump my shoulders, I get gapping where the cup meets the strap. Due to the weird fit of the area where the straps meet the bra, the bra doesn't fit correctly.
It's a shame because I like how this bra looks under clothes and other than the upper cup area, the bra is really comfortable.
I also tried a 28FF and it was too small in the cup and gave me major quad boob. I tried the 30FF but the strap was way too loose. So I am keeping this one because it fits the best of the three and I like the profile under my shirts. Read more 136 more words
This bra fits me pretty well. The band is very firm and comfy, as are the cups. The shape it gives is mostly rounded with some subtle pointedness near the intersection of the parts of the cup. They fit well on my slightly-FOB breasts; they're about a cup size apart as well and while this is obvious with my shirt off, the shape the bra gives under clothes is not noticeably different, which I appreciate. My one complaint is that the straps are too wide; they rub my armpits if I have my arms forward (i.e., at my desk).
As for looks, I got ...the Bravissimo-exclusive purple color and I'm in love. I've never had a purple bra! It's cute and sophisticated and a little sexy. If anyone is interested in brief sizing, I got the XS/8, which will do on my 35.5" hips, but I could've gotten away with sizing up.
I've tried three Cleo balconies (this one, 28G - Cleo » Bella Balconnet Bra (7001), and 28G - Cleo » Lucy (5851)), and in terms of fit and comfort, this comes after Bella but before Lucy. Nougat said in her review that this is meant to fit the same as the Lucy, but I think it's closer to the Bella (and even the Meg that I tried in-store); the Lucy definitely seemed shallower, especially on bottom. My first bra that I think truly fits. There is a little extra space in the stretch lace on the top of the cup, but I don't mind. It only shows up if I am in certain positions, so not an issue. Yay!
I miss the extended longline of Cleo's old Piper bra. This is cute, but not quite the same effect. Fit feels true to size all around, and the fabrics are soft against the skin.
Really lovely bralette! There's an inner structure which is basically like a 3-part balcony bra minus the wires, with a crop top overlay. The wings are very small and the straps are extremely wide set, however when clipped in racerback with the j-hook it feels really comfortable which makes me think this is the primary way it was designed to be worn. The 28G band measures 27 inches stretched and is super firm; I have since repurchased the new Navy colourway in 28GG which feel more true to size.
I adore the look of this bra but sadly the fit isn't quite right. I've since gone up a cup size so this definitely doesn't fit any longer, hence no photos, but I've based this review on when it *did* technically fit. The band is great, stretchy enough to fit comfortably without cutting in and not too stretchy that it offers no support. The cup feels extremely wide and shallow, which I guess helps give such amazing cleavage but did mean I found it slipping down a fair bit during the day as my bust pushed it down. Even when I was a 28G this cut in slightly along the neckline of the foam padding, which was easily disguised by the stretchy lace overlay. The width of the cups is an issue too - the wires aren't bothersome at all but there's a lot of empty space at the side. I feel like if they'd used a narrower width of wire the fit would be SO much better. A real shame, as I love everything else about this style!
