I bought this bra from another member but unfortunately, and as I anticipated it was too big. I loved the colour (red hot?) though, it was kind of pinkish and pretty! The straps and detail were a very pale blue! The material was lovely and soft, MUCH nicer than I thought it was going to be! The wires didn't sit great on my body, they sort of turned out and were too wide, but this is most likely just because the cups were 1 or 2 sizes too big! The gore rubbed slightly but I have this in every bra! The band was nice, not too tight and ...not too loose, I think I prefer a more sturdy thick band but it was decent nonetheless and was true to size I'd say! I sold this bra on, and I bought it in purple in a different size, but was then told it was out of stock! I think New Look also stocks this bra now, but not in 28 bands! Though, I am going to get my size in this bra eventually as it makes a good comfortable, every day bra! Read more 83 more words
Not much lift, but still gives a very nice centered and rounded shape. A personal favorite.
The center gore sometimes chafes at the bottom end (thin, stiff fabric) and the more loose mesh used in the upper parts of the cups can create a slight quad-boob-y bulge on softer breasts at the seam between the different materials.
For me, the bra makes up for its slight flaws with its good fit. It's also very lightweight, and made with soft materials that conform well to more finicky breasts.
Nice, rounded shape with modest lift. The construction on the upper parts of the cups is a bit odd. The fabric is perhaps a little too stiff. It doesn't conform to the shape of the breast and, at least for me, creates an unsightly line where the seam digs slightly into the breast tissue.
The center gore, made with strong but rather thing fabric, digs in a little harshly as well.
Not a bad bra all in all, but not one I'd shell out full price for.
I love this bra. It gives a good rounded shape, encases all my breast and the centre gore is fairly high which I find very comfortable (short centre gores dig in on me). The band runs true to size but the cups runs small. I need to go up a cup size. The fabric is soft and very comfortable. I can barely feel this bra when I'm wearing it.
Pros: I received this bra from a fellow Bratabase user. I love the sunshine-yellow color. I thought it would look gross on me, but once I put it on, I felt a little energized and quite cheery! There's even a cute pink bow at the center gore. Lucy hides nicely under clothing and gives a very natural, flattering shape and is good for "bottom-heavy" and "evenly-full" breasts. I could see this bra being heaven in the summer given the mesh fabric's breathable quality.
Nitty gritty: straps are fully adjustable, band runs true to size. There is microfiber on the underwires (on the portion ...facing your body, of course!) and the straps--quite a nice comfort detail if you ask me!
Cons: Unfortunately for me, Lucy was too small in the cup. To give enough slack on the straps to accommodate my larger breast caused my breasts to look ridiculously lop-sided. The lace on Lucy cut in on top on my larger breast and couldn't contain the tissue should I wiggle about or bend over. My breasts began to pull the gore apart, too, which was weird (not as in shred/wreck it, more like put strain on the poor thing). I'm sizing up a cup to see if this is worth saving/compatible for me. This has potential of showing great amount of cleavage and suits well on many, but on me it has too separated cups, which gives quads and leads straps, that are too far apart, to feel uncomfortable against armpits. Cups are nice, soft and wide, but central gore seems to be quite low. Nice candy colors.
Very tight bra, would be good for anyone who's sub28. I think it feels too tight on me because I could go up a cupsize, otherwise it's a pretty good fit.
I appreciate high center gore and wide cups so much. Cup fabric is soft yet strong, feels like quality product. Cups are bit too big as I cant fill them fully, but they'll only need small alterations, this bra is a keeper.
Ruffled shoulder straps are narrow enough not to feel too heavy and to be pretty. I don't particularly like the colour, but overall it's nice piece of lingerie.
This fits my measurements perfectly - the only problem is that the wires dig in a little due to it being too tight (I'm a bit between a 28 and a 30) but otherwise it's perfect and I just throw an extender on for now!
I LOVE the Olivia, and am really sad that it no longer fits. The band is firm, the cups are incredibly well shaped--very up front, but still rounded. The top lace doesn't cut into the boob as much as the Meg does either, because it has lace instead of lace and the horizontally placed ribbon. This is, in general, one of the best bras I owned.
I would KILL to find this bra (or the Alexa, or the Sasha) in a 28FF, because I am sure it would fit brilliantly. Unfortunately, these are now basically impossible to find, and I disagree that the Meg is actually the same pattern. The ribbon on the Meg bra is beautiful, but makes the top much more closed than this bra was, and that can be a real problem in terms of quadboobing.
I'm a big fan of the style of the Juna. Unfortunately, I'm in a strange place right now where a 28G leaves a bit of space under the lace for my smaller breast, but 28FF is tight enough to create a quadboob for the larger breast. I think the 28G is the best fit, however-- the lace on this bra is a bit weird, as has been pointed out to me by other braficcionados. It's a bit excessive-- if your boobs are COMPLETELY filling out the lace at rest, it seems like the bra is actually a bit too small, because it hides a minor amount of quadboobing ...underneath the lace. So, the lesson I have learned is don't pay as close of attention to the lace on this bra as you do to the actual fabric of the bra itself.
So, that said, first, I love the fabric of this bra. It is very smooth and soft, feels great against the skin. I like the slightly padded cups as well. It is very comfortable, and also provides a bit more shape without the sometimes breastplate feeling of the Freya Deco (a bra that I also love). The shape of this bra is a pleasing one--rounded, without hypercleavage, but enough of a soft, round mound on top. I think it looks great under a t-shirt. The only improvement that I would ask of an every day bra like this one would be if the bra held the boobs just a little more 'up front', but I like a pretty up front look overall.
The band of this bra is appropriately snug, however, I also own the Cleo Ellie (Juno in a great watercolor blue color) and have worn it for quite a while, and find that the band does stretch out after a while. That said, it could use slightly firmer elastic that wears better with time.
This really is my go-to bra, and I feel confidant in saying that about this new Juna because of my experiences with the Ellie and the Darcie. Also, with my improved scoop-and-swoop technique, I find the bras fit better in 28G than they did a while ago, so that's always a good thing https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 267 more words
I purchased this because I originally owned and loved the Ellie. I've recently lost some weight, but ordered my usual 28G. I will be trying a 28FF in a similar style to see if it fits better--I find right now my breasts fill the cups, but the lace looks rather loose on my smaller breast.
I find that this bra is very comfortable. It is made of a smooth fabric, and the cups are lightly padded. The gore sits fairly low between the breasts and lays flat against my sternum. I love the shape of the cups--rounded without creating crazy cleavage. I do find that it separates the boobs a bit, but my breasts are slightly wide-set, so I feel this suits their natural shape. This is my go-to every day bra.
I love the way this bra looks, it's not frumpy like a lot of other bras I'm able to find in my size. The band is slightly itchy, but after a few minutes in it, I don't notice again until the end of the night when I'm dying to take any bra off and go to bed. I haven't found pokeys anywhere, and I love the way it makes the boobs look. You can KIND of see the stitching/embroidery on it when I'm wearing an extremely tight shirt, but I usually have a tank top on under anything, and then you can't see it at all. All around my favorite bra. I haven't had any bad stretching yet, but I've only had it for a month or so now.
It's quite comfortable, but I feel the wires might still be a little too wide for me. The gore doesn't quite sit flat, but then my boobs are very very close together as well, which could influence this. This bra gives me a bit of a pointed shape and the cup gaps when I lean forward. The top of the bra sits really funny and kind of flattens the top of my boobs, not sure why this is? It's quite tight which is good, doesn't feel too loose in the band https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The bra looks a lot better in person than it does in photos. The cups and gore have black net going over them and the interplay between the black and the purple looks great. The back is black rather than purple. The straps have a ruffled detail on them that makes them less boring than regular straps.
The padding seems to be the standard Cleo padding, it is similar to the Juna. However, I find that it is quite obvious where the top of the cup ends if I'm wearing a light t-shirt over it. The detailing on the top od the cup doesn't help
The band on this bra ...is true to size. I'm 28" around the ribs and this 28G is quite tight on me, as it should be. However, I've also noticed that the band is quite thin at the back, and this combination makes it a little uncomfortable; I'm hopeful that once the bra stretches out a little it will be a bit more comfy.
I think Freya suits me better than cleo. The wires are a little wider than they should be for my shape and this allows some of my breast tissue to hang around near my armpits.
Although this is technically a half cup, I think it offers more coverage than most of the half, cups that are out there, it's more 2/3 than 1/2. I like this because all the half-cups I have tried before seemed to offer less support than this one. The cups are pretty open on top, which is good for my breast shape since closed cups ten to cut into my breast tissue and give me quadboob.
The straps are quite thin compared to what I'm used to. They have this ruffled detail on them wich makes them quite cute, and it isn't noticeable under shirts, but it makes it much harder to adjust them. This could be viewed as a good or a bad thing. On one hand, it is hard to adjust them at first, on the other hand, they are more likely to remain at the proper length once you have adjusted them.
I think my bra sustained a little mistreatment before it got to me (this was an online order). The padding near the bottom of the left cup seems to have a bit of a crease that should not be there. It doesn't seem to affect the shape of the bra. It is hardly even noticeable when I look at it but I can feel it quite well. I decided to keep it despite this because I got it on a sale and it doesn't seem to affect the fit.
I used to have this in 28FF and in that size, it noticeably cuts in my bigger breast, and had obvious quadding. I had to take in the centre gore to make it more open on top but doing that makes the band even tighter on my 27" ribcage. I also had spillage on the sides and the shape was somehow not that round.
So I sold that one and got a 28G. The fit is way better. It still cuts in my bigger breast, but only when I roll my shoulder way back. For usual movements, you won't even notice it unless you stared. A 28GG would be too baggy for me. I also have no spillage in this size, and the shape is round! Perfectly round and lifted. I love it. The width of the cup (5.5") is also perfect for me. I did not experience any poking nor rubbing in the armpit. This bra is comfortable and I can see myself reaching this bra often in the near future!
Overall, I quite like this bra. It's comfortable and, on the side that fits properly (my smaller side), it looks nice and creates an attractive, rounded shape. I do need to size up one cup size to fit my larger side, since there is some definite quadboobing going on underneath the lace "overhang" at the top of the cup. I know that this bra is recommended for full-on-top breasts, but it also works very well for shallow, full-on-bottom breasts, like mine. The straps are narrower than I usually find on bras of this size, though I don't find them uncomfortable. Similarly, most bras of this size have three hooks in back, where the Juna still only has two. I don't know what size bumps up to three hooks, but I would have preferred three in this size.
There is no way this bra is a 28 band - more like a 26. That's awesome for me, since I measure 25.5" underbust right now - maybe not for others though. I can't tell if this bra fits or not, tbh. It fits wonderfully - unscooped. I can't really dig my hand into the bra in order to scoop and swoop, since the top lacing has a tight band on its upper edge. If I do scoop, it super quadboobs, but the lace gets all messed up. If I move the lace it quadboobs less. I don't know if I should stay at 28G or move up to 28GG :/ Another thing I've noticed is the wires are a bit.. creaky.
I want to like this bra so much :/ The straps don't adjust short enough for my torso, so they're constantly falling off. My boobs sit really high on my chest, and so the bra doesn't sit high enough either - and the bra tends to gap at the top. If I pull the straps up manually, the bra fits much better. The lace tends to not sit flat at the top either. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
