this bra's tag lists it as a 32H US/UK, but judging by fit, it looks to be a UK 32H : (
while it fits in almost every other way, being one cup too big i do have gapping/wrinkling at the very top of the cup. i'm still going to keep this bra as it's comfortable and when i wear it under shirts, the gapping is flattened/not noticeable.
the pink is a lovely color and i love the heart details on the lace! and being too big, this is the first time in a while my nips don't show through the lace/sheer part of the cup lol (i should've taken this hint a while ago with my 32ffs that they were getting too small, but i only realized it recently.)
overall, the quality seems great (although the wires are a bit squeaky when i put the bra on), it's very comfortable as it basically disappears when i'm wearing it throughout the day, and the appearance is very cute, i love it!
Despite what Bratabase says, I consider this bra to fit really well, especially for something that's molded. It's not perfect but quite literally everything is on point except the bottom of the cup, which doesn't impact the support I get at all.
This bra is really surprisingly comfortable- like I'm having a hard time not wearing it everyday. It's become one of my favorites! Since I don't usually like the feeling of my boobs being squished together, I was a little afraid the lack of separation would become bothersome after a while but actually its a nice change from wires often sitting on my breast tissue or stabbing into ...it when I lie down. (I have less of a pinky's width between my breasts, I think making a high gore that'd accommodate that is physically impossible.) Despite having soft tissue, I haven't experienced a crazy amount of spillage. If there's any, its pretty well hidden by my clothes. Unlike my Panache bras, this one has fully adjustable straps! Yay! Adjusting them to the right length makes the underarm comes up higher than I'd like, although I can probably find a way to alter that.
The color beige isn't really a beige to me, it's a really lovely shade of soft pink as opposed to the yellow-ey tones you often get in other beige bras. The little ring on the center is a nice touch, and it doesn't seem to cause any discoloration like a similar charm I had on a CK bra. Read more 141 more words
Huge fan of this bra - it's a nice supportive plunge and racer back clip is really easy to do up and doesn't cause neck pain for me (frequent complaint for other convertible models).
It doesn't fit me anymore, but when I was a 30HH/32H, this was a great fit with the exception of the band which was really stretchy and a bit looser than other brands. 30HH would have been flawless but alas not available (model only goes up to H cup) so I made do with 32H.
This is a tricky bra for some boobs because the lace will stick out if your boobs aren't fairly full on top, and it will cut in if your boobs are very full. It works for me, which is good because it fills a need for a plain, smooth beige bra that looks pretty nice on - and is crazy comfortable. When I originally got this bra, I felt like I could use a 32HH because the band on this style stretches pretty quickly and I hoped it would provide a little give in the cup. Two hooks, which I will continue to assert is not enough for an H cup. Review update 12/2018 after multiple weight/shape changes: I need a 30HH/J, but that likely means it's pretty true to size. Oddly, I get a hint of quadraboob on my smaller side in this one?! The general shape is wider and more compact than I remember - but that may be because I really need a cup larger.
I think I'm between sizes. The cup fits everywhere except I need a bit more upper fullness to fill out the top. The lace is pretty but a pain because no matter what size I try, it sticks out awkwardly and shows through shirts. This is a comfortable bra even with the tall gore. The straps are set wide and I have a continue battle of keeping them up, but I have this battle with all Cleos. As far as padded bras go, this is the only one I've found that is projected enough at the wire while not being too tall in the cups.
This bra is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it just doesn't have enough coverage for full-on-top boobs; I tend to spill out. It would be great for someone less full on top.
I purchased my regular size, but I overspilled everywhere. Not enough space in the bottom for me. Might have worked if it were taller. Would be a very pretty bra with nice cakes-on-a-plate cleavage on the right person.
The Skye is a pretty close fit for me. The cups are little smaller compared to Marcie - I would say similar to Blake. The material is very light weight and feels a bit fragile. The straps are not fully adjustable unless you can force the clip over the thicker, softer portion of the strap. It's has lots of projection at the wire and the wires are reasonably narrow. It's a pretty bra and gives a rounded shape but not as much as Marcie.
This bra has some very good qualities - the wires are a good width and the bottom of the cups doesn't crumple in wear. I like the rose print. However, the size range could be much better. Stopping at H cups means I have to get a 32H and the band is a bit loose. In addition, I think the cups are slightly small. I get noticeable cleavage in this bra - some people wouldn't like that, but it's what I want for some occasions. But sadly, there is also noticeable quadding at the top.
I am undecided about this bra. I get some wrinkling in the top of the cup but the bra is comfortable & so pretty. I don't think sizing down will work as the cup won't be projected enough. The wrinkling may reduce with wear. I'll update my review when I have worn it for longer. UPDATE: I've worn this bra for a while now and it fits well - good support, still comfortable & wrinkling hardly shows with wear. My DH said it is very flattering. It's a keeper.
My breast shape: my boobs start at my collarbone, I think they are average on the top, close set, firm and bottom heavy with lots of projection.
Brilliant budget friendly bra. Lovely rounded shape. I wear a 32H in this and wear a 34GG in Panache Clara. Currently only these two models fit me nicely.
This is a pretty bra and I like the black & pink colourway. It fits but the fit isn't as good as other Panache/Cleo bras that I own. The band fits and the cups but the fabric is more stretchy than the Marcie or Jasmine bras that I own & I think I would end up with slight quadding after a days wear.
I would say it is worth trying if your measurements are similar to mine, the potential quadding is due to the upper fullness of my breasts.
I was so so excited to get this bra on eBay, only to discover it is a horrible shape mismatch for me. There is an odd empty space at the top of the cups. This is my size in just about every Cleo or Panache bra and I fill out the bottom of the cup perfectly, so I feel like the size is right, it's truly just the wrong shape.
I was slightly concerned about the band being too snug, as I'm between a 32 and 34, but this fit comfortably. I measured and I can actually stretch it almost to 36!
I have super short roots, and the band of material near the red decoration across the top of my breast floats almost an inch above my chest. This bra would be great for someone with slightly more upper fullness than I have. Unfortunately, even with significant alterations, I don't think I could make it fit me. I'll be listing it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I got this bra from a swap group for VERY cheap; I am still working out my size/shape in different brands and wanted to experiment with the various Cleos. Lucky me, it fits pretty well! Normally I wear a 34GG in Panache styles, so I fully expected this band to be too tight at 32H, but other reviews hinted the band on this one is pretty stretchy. I can't say for sure how a brand new one would fit since I believe I'm actually the 3rd owner of this bra, but it looks pretty close to new, and it does indeed fit like a 34 to me (edit: ...I just completed the measurements, and I can actually stretch the band to 35/36 without much trouble!). The cups fit perfectly, there is no gaping/wrinkling anywhere and the (non-stretch) lace at the top of the cup is flat.
I actually got 2 Cleo Lucy bras from the same owner, and both had a slight modification. The previous owner had sewn the gore together to adjust the angle of the cups (as seen here: http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2012/01/cleo-lucy-review.html) and I just used a seam ripper to undo the alteration on this bra to see if there was a big difference. I don't really notice much difference in the fit, but I've been wearing this purple one for 8 hours now and it feels/looks fine, so I will probably undo the alteration on the other Lucy as well.
Pros: Cute color (purple!), great rounded/lifted shape (similar to my other Panache bras), seems to fit my larger and smaller breast equally well
Cons: Embroidered flowers on the cup show through thin shirts (because of the texture, not color), straps are a bit wide (they're right on the outside of my Tail of Spence, but this is a common problem for me), the bottom edge under the gore/cups might be made of razors (I'm hoping this will break in, as the blog post linked above hints)
Overall I think I can overlook the issues, at least for a few more wears to see how problematic they actually are. As I said, I've been wearing it 8 hours today and other than the bottom of the cups/gore digging a little bit it's pretty comfortable.
Update: I have now worn this bra for an entire day several times, and I don't think I can overlook the band issue. The length appears to be fine, but the bit right under the gore is very sharp and digs in painfully. Twice now it's left a mark that did not go away overnight, so I think, despite how perfectly the cups fit, I might have to retire this bra and its twin (32H - Cleo ยป Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) ). This bra is officially a clone of the Juna, but I have a Juna, and two flamingo print Darcies, all in size 32H, and there are two very clear differences in this particular size and colour. The Juna has only one vertical seam on each cup, but both my flamingo Darcies have two seams (I've uploaded some photos to show this). I think this makes the cup more projected - it doesn't crumple at the base on me, which foam bras in general do, and the Juna does. The Juna also has only half-adjustable straps, because the straps are made of two sections joined by a metal ring. The Darcy straps have no ring, so they can be adjusted over the whole length. It's a pity this bra was discontinued, as it fits me well (though a 30HH would have been even better if they'd made it, as long as it had the 2-seamed shape).
Opposite to the sister cut Ellis (which wrinkles a bit at the top), Zia's top lace seems to cut in just a teensy bit - it's definitely more closed on top. I just try not to be overenthusiastic about swooping and scooping. The polka dots are super cute and the uplift and shape is great (Cleo's specialty seems to be getting the boobs nice and high and perky-looking). Good bra for projected breasts.
I have this bra in a 32H in 5 differnt colourways now (I usually size up in Panache bras to a 32HH). The fit is similar to the other colours that I have reviewed: This bra gives a very projected look. I don't get as much loose lace in the cup as I did with the raspberry colourway & this reduces as I wear it. The cup depth/projection is great for my breast shape & I find this bra extremely comfortable to wear (I can almost forget I am wearing it). My boobs start at my collarbone, I think they are average on the top, firm and bottom heavy with lots of projection.
I bought this babydoll in a 32H in black (I usually size up in Panache bras to a 32HH). The bra top gives a very projected look. I don't get as much loose lace in the cup as I did with the raspberry colourway & this reduces as I wear it. The cup depth/projection is great for my breast shape & I find this babydoll extremely comfortable to wear (I can almost forget I am wearing it). This babydoll is much prettier than others on the market.
