I love this bra. It's beautiful and comfortable. Definitely my favorite bra. The band is firm and the cups are made of a strong material.
I love the fully adjustable straps, though, they aren't very pretty. I don't experience wire poking. I'm also not pulling back up under my breasts all day. A big deal when it comes to heavy breasts like mine.
Cons: Dots show through most clothes. Only two hooks in the back, wish it had 3 in my size because it can cause back rolls.
This bra, like other panache bras, has wide wires. I ws hoping cleo would have narrower wires, but I have not found this to be true. It is not really a good fit for a somewhat narrow, full on top bust, like mine. However, with that being said, it is of great quality and pretty. The band is stretchy, but not overly so and strap seperation is average. The underwires poke badly in my underarms, but this really is the best fitting bra I have so I will make do until I get a better fitting bra. ** Update**
This bra is unwearable for me because of the underwires after ...a couple wears. I looked back at my pictures and realized I was actually stretching the underwires because the band was so stretched. Stretchy bands are not always a good thing. I put the bra on without fastening the back and lo and behold, the underwires are NOT too wide, just too tall under my arms and too short at the sternum. Also the cups are gaping badly. I am going to try for a 34 H in Cleo and see if that helps.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bra. It's super cute! The cups fit really well and the band is firm. It gives a really nice full out in front shape. Highly recommended
A really cute bra. The band is very firm and secure. It took some wearing. The shape is very out in front, not flattened or pushed back. Only criticism is the cup is a little bit too big, but it's hardly noticeable.
Fits my smaller boob pretty well. The larger one, not so much. Quadboob isn't too bad, but the right breast isn't sitting in the cup as it should. The bra is somewhat wearable, as long as the top I'm wearing is not too tight. Much adjusting is needed throughout the day. I'm curious as to whether a larger cup would fix this, but alas, Cleo stops at J. The cups supposedly run big. I'm still not entirely sure about my cup size so I can't really comment on that.
The wire width is ok for me in this size (I'm very narrow).
The shape is nice and round.
32 is the smaller of my normal two sizes, and I'm pretty sure a 34 would be too big for me.
This is my first bra with only 2 hooks, and I have to say, I understand why people complain. Ugh. 3 hooks feels much more stable.
I love the CLEO Lucy! It gives a fantastic shape & looks really beautiful. The lace on the top is soft, but fits perfectly for my shape. The band is snug, but comfortable. I have the Lucy in both pink & blue & I wish I had it in several more colors!
My absolutely favorite daily bra recently. The band is very firm with little stretch which I greatly prefer. The size panels are quite tall, so they smooth out my sides neatly, but these wires don't cause any poking for me. Generally forward, uplifted, medium rounded cup shape. The mesh across the cleavage is not stretchy, though it doesn't seem to cause me quadboob like other bras with similar mesh might. The most important element for me recently is the adjustable straps: this bra allows for adjustment all the way along the strap, with embroidery on the strap to prevent it from gradually slipping. This is the perfect bra strap for me. Other bras that are half-adjustable tend to have the O-ring connector at the apex of my shoulder, so a fully adjustable strap with no irritating connectors along it is perfect. I also love that this has a band that goes fully round the torso under the cups, which is a very stable and firm construction that also seems to keep the cups in shape from stretching as well.
The cups were too large for me in the 32J I tried on; I went down a size to 32H which fits fairly well with slight quad boob effect. (I had originally tried a 32GG which was too small as well.) Sent this one back; see my review of the 32H for better fit info.
I loved this bra so much that I had to buy 2. At $28 on Amazon, it's a hard deal to pass up. It fits identically to the other one, of course.
***Update*** This bra fit amazingly when first purchased. After I couple months, I noticed this bra and my other Lily were cutting into my shoulders SEVERELY - causing pain, chaffing, and extremely dry skin. I believe the straps were always too far apart. As the band stretched out, more of my weight was being supported by the straps. Causing them to feel like they were pretty much cutting my arms right off. I have always had permanent gouges in my shoulders from bras, but never was required to actually treat the affected skin with a healing ointment. I really loved the Lily at first and you can get them for a bargain off ebay BUT... the issues I had from the 3 - 6 month period of the bras cause me serious reticence.
