    Didn't fit

I've had this bra for quite a while now, and I got it before I knew that different brands can have wildly different sizing structures. I originally got an 80G I think, and sent it back to exchange for the 90G. The 90G is still far too small for me, which I probably would've guessed if I'd known how to use the measurements here on Bratabase, but live and learn I guess.

Anyway, it's a very plain looking bra, though it's sturdy! I've kept it for those occasions when I want great cleavage, as balcony bras tend to lift and separate. It hasn't stretched much in the year I've had it, and the only sign of wear and tear that I can see is a bit of discolouration in the armpit area.

I'm considering selling it only because I've recently moved to a tropical climate and it's entirely too hot here to wear bras with any more fabric than strictly necessary.

    Fits

I bought this bra because I wanted to have some more cleavage than the 60H gives me. This bra is definitely too small in the cups for me, but absolutely serves the purpose I have it for! It doesn't have reduced cups and literally the only thing I would want is to make the cups a tiny bit deeper.
It's still a super comfortable bra and doesn't fit bad enough that anyone other than I would notice, so it's a win!

What can I say. As its Comexim is really nice and high quality. Bra is nice and soft in touch, straps are best of all brands that's own. Unfortunately is too small in cups. I need to have 70F.

  4. I haven't worn this bra for a full day yet so maybe my opinion will change about the fit… but it seems smaller than my other Comexims. It fits and is still very comfortable, but it's definitely more snug - which is bizarre because I took the measurements for the bra and they are almost exactly the same as my other Comexims! It must be the fabric or something making it have less give and be less stretchy (since this one is a shiny fabric which is very different from my other Comexim bras). I think one size up would be much too big so I'm sticking with the 75F. And even though it's more snug and the fit isn't quite as good as my other Comexims it's still 100x better than the other brands and bras I've worn! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Also, I should say I ordered the black from Wellfitting.

The cups on my Basic (and most everyone else's) seem to run about a half cup smaller than most of the other plunges, and that makes the band feel even tighter. :/ It's got the same depth and band length, but the center projection is decidedly less than, say, the projection on the Free Time.

That said, Basic is still my go-to t-shirt bra.

    • Yes! That's what it is! The center projection is less than my other Comexims (which i do have the Free Time and that fits great!). I agree that the basic will probably become my basic go-to t-shirt bra too… since it still fits and is comfortable, but I think I will go for a different nude bra now (I was debating ordering the nude in the basic too before I received it in the mail)

    • So I'm wearing it today and decided to use an extender for a while til it stretches a bit (that or I lose weight lol - I've gained 6 lbs since ordering the bra in July)

  5. Great fit. I love the simplicity and versatility of the "basic" look, it goes with everything and disappears nicely under white shirts.

Cups: OMG, perfect for my narrow, projected breasts (for size reference, I'm typically 30F in UK, or 65FF in Ewa Michalak). I'm also soft-tissued and close-set, so the narrow, tall gore is great, too. The cups are tall enough that they enclose my tissue and don't give me quad-boob. Just a nice, rounded shape.

Band: Very firm. I had some painful red marks at the end of the day. Same result with an extender, which makes me think it's not too small, exactly, just rubs me the ... wrong way (literally). Still, even with that, it's one of my best bras.

Construction: 1 vertical and 1 horizontal seam. Very lightly foam padded. 3 hooks!

Materials: 74% polyamide, 20% polyester, 6% elastane. The interior cup fabric is more matte/soft than the shiny exterior fabric. The only change I would make to this bra is a cotton interior. I tend to get sweaty and itchy by the end of the day.

T-shirty friendly: Yes! The cup is mostly smooth with some subtle top lace.

UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER: The band never stretched out! This is still digging in, even with the extender. It's not worth it anymore.

    60HH

    Didn't fit

This one is sadly much too big. I had though basic ran small in the cups, but this is definitely at least a size larger than the Vivien and Ginger I have in 60HH with alterations. The band (as I've found with all the Comexim bands) is a tad stretchy/large. I prefer a very firm 28. If I order from them myself I'm definitely getting a 55. This bra has no alterations so it's quite tall in the cups. I really wish this fit me!!! I need a T-shirt bra. Anyone want to trade for other Polish?

Overall it is what companies seem to miss: no poking, no hurting, just support from a proper fit and what you would expect of a bra along with a pretty exterior. YAY! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE the flexibility and stretchiness of it.

Longer review for the newer people!

Me: snug underbust: 24.5, BTTunder bust 23.2, leaning overbust: 32.75. I believe I am around a 28F in UK sizes, but a 28 bands usually cause wires to be too wide and poke my armpits so this complicates determining the correct fit.
Through Wellfitting.com the bra took almost 4 weeks to make and another ... 1-2 to arrive.

Look: Very pretty for being a basic nude bra. It is not quite as yellow as a lot of nudes, so it matches my skin tone well. The fabric used for the construction of the cups actually seems to appear slightly shimmery at certain angles -- me likey. It also seems to be somewhat of a noisy fabric. For example, if you were to rub your hand on it, it would make a bit more noise than the average cloth. This does not bother me at all and many might not even notice it, but if this just happens to be a special pet peeve of yours, you may not enjoy the bra 😢. The bow on the gore is very nice and almost oversized (😍 I want it even bigger) with a small pearl on the center. Under shirts the seams to the top piece of the cups is fairly visible, especially the lacey bit. The lining is great, feels breathable but still takes care of headlights. The lift is between the pink and green shape for me, which is perfect, with forward projection.

Fit/Comfort: Very comfortable! Overall is lightweight and usually unnoticeable (don’t feel the wires!) while being supportive. After switching to a more proper size from bras that were much too small, I felt like they just had too much fabric, but this actually feels like it is really my size! The straps are a bit too wide set. Not a big issue, but it causes the cup on my smaller side – already too small for the cup — to be pushed in and pucker a bit. The gore doesn’t tack, which doesn't bother me (a size up is clearly too large and still doesn’t tack). The fabric is nice; I wouldn’t say that it feels too special, though. The band is just a little too large (24/50 next time) but stays in place decently. For the first few wears – all good now – I felt something poking me from the band near the hooks. I don’t know what it was, but it felt like something was pricking me, which was very uncomfortable for my sensitive skin. The wires are still about a centimeter too wide for me, although not to a bothersome extent.

So no fit check needed. With my band size this is the best I’ll get, which is actually pretty amazing!😊

    Thanks for reading!

  8. This fits just like my other (beige) 65K Basic, which is as desired. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The band may feel a tiny bit tighter, but that might just be because my other one has been worn quite a bit in the time I've had it, so it's broken in. I remember that band felt tight at first too, so I expect this one will break in just as nicely.

    65G

    Didn't fit

    I love this bra.
I don't typically buy "basic" bras anymore (that's all I used to wear) but I knew I needed one.

For interviews I've been wearing an Aerie Lindsey 32D and I can't scoop and swoop so it's mostly uncomfortable.
I put the Lindsey up for sale after ordering my Comexims.

As usual, up front and center cups, no pushing in side tissue awkwardly, or lettinf it flop to the sides. Wires touch, gore height is perfect, cup height is perfect.
I was a bit worried about cup height, especially after trying the 60HH (65H).
That's one size up but it looks so much bigger by comparison.
Really not sure what's up with ... that xD

The band is taut; I thought it was too tight at first but then I realized I had it way too far up my back. After sitting it where it should be, I realized that mine is definitely TTS.
I guess maybe I ought to stop saying that with 30 bands, because I'm measuring 29", but I honestly think it could go another inch.

Cup depth is perfect for me. Not too deep or too shallow. I swear, I love Comexim.

The gore doesn't tack perfectly. I'm not sure what exactly is causing that, as the band is firm and the cups are definitely large enough.

Anyway, this works with my shape. I'm mostly even but functionally FoB. I noticed in the 60HH basic beige, it seemed to be made for FoT people. Possibly explaining the upper gap.
The 65G however, measures the same in the top and bottom of the cup. It's for even boobs.. Has anyone else noticed more space up top on the 60HH/70H+ bras, or did I just get a special one?
The Basic 65G in white is so different, and cups aren't as high.

Other than that, padding, like the other Comexims, is very minimal. It's a thin layer of foam. Very comfy. The cups have a somewhat shiny, soft material on the outsides and band.
Band feels super supportive in this one, unlike my 70G (my mistake) and 65H Joy Hc and Longline.
    Straps are fully adjustable.

So I'd say if you're even or just very slightly FoB/FoT, with close set boobs naturally of when lifted, and need narrow wires, the Basic is excellent.
I also want to add that I have tall roots/pecs or something, but very shallow.
I was concerned about cup height, especially after trying the 60HH.
These cups aren't high on me or deep, which is great. I can't say that for the60HH which is definitely FoT.
If you're concerned at all, consider ordering lowered cups.

I'm super happy to finally have a supportive, comfortable, simple bra.
    Yay Comexim! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Edit:
I wore this all day yesterday. At the end of the day, I was super happy to see that the wires came less than half an inch away from my tissue. I have an uncommon IMF, so it's mostly impossible to find narrow enough wires with enough cup depth. This, and my Coco are the best.
I wish I could say the same for the Joys, but unfortunately, at least the Longline runs pretty wide.

@pumpkinswife Just wanted to tag you so you can see the 65G.
I mentioned in my review that 60HH runs FoT. I don't know if that has anything to do with fabric or sizing differences.

Maybe someone else can add their two cents because I'm new to Comexim and I don't know if their sizing/shape changes with depth, or if one of my bras is just odd.

    • 1

      * pumkinswife
      My bad. I don't see an edit button anymore..did I break it?D:

    • Thanks!!!! So is it regular cups or reduced?

    • pumkinswife Np! They're regular :)

    • 1

Awesome!!! I can't believe how much shorter the cups look.

    • pumkinswife I know! It's crazy.
Believe it or not, I measured from the bottom wire to the top cup edges on my 60HH /65H and the 65G, and the HH is only about a centimeter higher. I even layed the G inside the bigger one to make sure I didn't measure wrong.

I guess it's the unnecessary cup depth that tries lying flat and makes the cups look taller. That's all I can guess.

  10. I ordered this bra through Wellfitting, and was a little unsure about it as their calculator recommended a 32H and I'm generally a 30/32F except for sometimes needing an FF/G in molded bras. I'd read that their bras run small in the cups so I bit the bullet and got the 32H. Soooo glad I did, it is about as perfect as a bra can be. I've never had a bra that was so comfortable without needing a breaking-in period. Generally I hate padded/molded bras because I feel like my tits are stuffed into styrofoam cups but these have a cotton lining inside that feels wonderful. The ... cup shape fits like a glove, my nipple sits right in the seam intersection and I'm held up and in without being squashed. I love the wide band and that there are 4 sets of hooks. And for a basic bra, it's actually kinda sexy in a retro-ish sort of way. My boyfriend took one look and was like, "So you're gonna buy a few more of those right?" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> So I've got a few more on the way, this time directly from Comexim's site as it's cheaper. Another plunge style and a half-cup, $75 including the shipping--unbelievable!!
