    Didn't fit

Size is about right for me in this style, so is wire width, but that's about where this bra stops working for me.

My breasts are quite soft, and I also have loose skin due to major weight loss, and this shape is not at all ideal for that.

I've been told that this is a plunge that center heavy breasts don't fall out of. No such luck.

The center gore, as always, is positioned too wide apart for my breasts, causing me to spill out the center and quadboob as my boobs fall to their natural position in the middle of my chest. There's no cup or ... gore there to stop them, so I end up with some pretty significant spill in the center.

The wires, also, while the right width, are shorter than I'm strictly happy with. I prefer a tall wire.

It's a very nice bra, but even altering the gore won't make this one a good fit for my center heavy/pendulous/soft/close set boobs.

Had such high hopes for this one, but this just isn't ideal for my shape.

EDIT: Verdict - definitely need to go up one cup size...

This is by far the best bra that I have ever owned. It is beautifully constructed, and I get a lovely, upfront but rounded shape. The narrow wire width is absolutely perfect, and the straps are not too far apart. The band was too tight for me at first (as expected), but seems to still be proportionately quite stretchy for a 28 band. I could probably stand to go up one cup, as it cuts in a little, but it is still the best fit I have found yet.

    • Hi! :) I'm curious, did the bra come with 3 hooks without you having to contact Comexim, or did you specifically request 3 hooks? I'm confused because GimpyBallerina has written that it only has 2 hooks in the back. It's 2 against one though... Would be interesting to know because I would probably need a 60J if I were to order from Comexim, and I would really like 3 hooks instead of two. I want to know if this needs to be requested or not :)

    • I'm wearing mine right now and just double checked - definitely only has 2 hooks just like my 60J Giselle. My 55K has 3 though. Weird.

    • That's really strange. Maybe the other two specifically ordered ones with three hooks?

    • Maybe? No idea, I haven't ordered any of my bras directly from Comexim, I bought them from people who found they didn't fit.

This bra is beautiful and well made - lovely attention to detail especially for a nude bra like this one! Unfortunately it is now too small for me, though it fit when I got it nine months ago. The wires are very narrow and the cups low under the arms, which was novel to me when I first tried it - and wonderful. I found it gave a lovely uplifted shape, great cleavage, and despite the great cleavage, it worked as a "t-shirt bra" because the cups are so close together, my boobs helped each other stay in place and not quadboob. Overall a great bra.

    Hasn't set fit

Purchased this bra gently used from a user on a Facebook group. Paid $40 including shipping. Was listed as fitting similar to a 36HH. This bra was custom made from Comexim with reduced cups. Has some loose threads on the band, slight sweat staining where the cup meets the armpit area. The pictures also show some dark spots on the cups, this is just because the bra landed in a dusty spot in my bedroom, they will come out when I wash it. The straps are stretchy and fully adjustable. 3 Hooks and 3 sets of Eyes. There is lace detailing along the top of the cups, ... a bow with a pearl detail on the gore, and more bows where the strap meets the cup. A very lovely model bra.

The fit- The tag size is 75L, and as I said above it was advertised as fitting about a 36HH. In my opinion this falls closer to the range of 34HH/36H. I can wear a range from 36HH-38HH, depending on the bra and this came up pretty tight on me in the band. The pictures show the fit as is. I did try with an extender and that made the band feel more comfortable. The cups, however, are just too small for me. I think a 80 or even 85L would suit me better, although I don't think Comexim make that size. I'll have to do some further research.

All in all, I think this is a very beautiful and well made bra. Unfortunately, the size just doesn't work for me

*****Custom ordered with reduced cup height. *****
*Also tried on by three other ladies before me which I think affected the measurements of band and cup width.Wires are softer in my opinion, especially a lot more than Panache.Band stretches out fairly quickly and when I got it some of the stitches were coming loose.Band might be tighter if this is fixed.
I think it's comparable in size to an Ewa S 36HH,possible 36J,comparing to S bra measurements on here. The cup is also rather stretchy, the cup depth was about an inch bigger compared to on.(Measurements for cup depth here are of course with it off).
I'm glad I got to try a Comexim, even ... if it didn't work right for me.What I like about it is the cotton lined cups, and the shimmery fabric,it's very subtle but pretty. If the fit had been better for me it would have been very comfortable.Straps were also fairly long on me,so this would be good if you often find bras have too short of straps.I also think my boobs were too far apart and I didn't have enough center tissue for this bra, from what I've seen of reviews it seems to work best with boobs that do.

I have a typical problem with this: I need shorter cups near the straps, as I have a short torso and narrow shoulders. Other than that, I should probably sister size down, as this band is a too loose for my 27" underbust.

**CUSTOM ORDER: Requested (1) reduced cup height AND (2) higher gore by 2 cm**

Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, but the straps are actually more wide set than other Comexim bras I have/tried. I have had this bra 2 times before, once in this same size with no customizations (standard low gore and taller cups) and once in a smaller cup size (75L) with reduced cup height and standard low gore. The first 75M (standard) was too tall, but the 75L (reduced ... cups) gave me quadboob and I spilled out the middle -- I thought the perfect fix would be to get a 75M with reduced cups and a higher gore. Well, I may have asked for TOO high of a gore, because to keep the bra a true "plunge", the tops of the cups have to be raised slightly to keep the angle....therefore making the cups a tad too tall for me again! Cups too tall = too much empty space at the top that I cannot fill (and probably contributing to the wide set strap thing.) I have a Comexim Jacqueline in 75M with reduced cups, and I asked for a higher gore by only 1-1.5 cm, and it seems to fit quite nicely. I was hoping a slightly higher gore than that would make me less "jiggly", but it seemed to defeat the purpose that I was attempting. The gore cannot even tack because I am too close set at that point, plus my boobs win the fight with the soft Comexim wires. Oh well, better luck next time!

Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely.

**My sizes for reference: UK 32J/JJ; Ewa Michalak Sm 70JJ/75J; Ewa Michalak Pl 70K/75JJ. I am FoB, close set, high on chest, and have soft tissue.**

I am a 32J and my favorite bra is the Floris. I keep looking at various foreign bras - I'm really fascinated with your take on this Comexim Basic. Esp on this one, I almost feel like, in going for such a round cup, the bra ends up minimizing and smooshing your breasts towards each other. I used to think I prefered a rounded look like this bra, but the Floris is more torpedo-y but my breasts seem to actually fit that shape better than all the rounded ones I've tried.

I'm thinking i probably WONT try this bra - I'm sure I'd be spilling out the center, too!

    • 2

dbmamaz This particular Comexim didn't work well for me because the cups were too tall and the gore was too short. This was the very first one I ever tried. I've since revised my Comexim orders to include asking for (1) reduced cup height and (2) higher gores, and they work fabulously on me now. I've also lost some weight and have tried a few different sizes as well over the course of my weight loss journey. I've added many more Comexim bras on Bratabase that you can see work quite well for me.

I do agree that this shape is more of a smooshed/round shape, but I prefer that over torpedo shapes, even though I am very pendulous. I have lots of stretch marks/saggy skin that I am very self-conscious about from early puberty and a lifetime of fluctuating weight, so the uplifted/smooshed affect makes my skin appear more firm.

We all just have different preferences, of course!

    • 1

I actually have the same thing going on - I prefer rounded because it kind of gathers it all up and makes me look firm (mine's more due to rapid growth and breast feeding). I actually altered some EM S bras and they have a more rounded shape like this one (it wasn't intentional, I just removed part of the cup and centered the straps). Interesting because I thought all Comexim bras were "torpedo shaped." (which also fits the shape of my breasts better - I'm fairly certain this is the same for all small underbust/large bust women).

**CUSTOM ORDER WITH REDUCED CUP HEIGHT**

Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, and straps are less on the edge of my shoulders than some other bras. Gore is very low, which is nice for some clothing, but for daily wear this causes me to spill out of the cups, as I am very soft and close set. Cups are too small causing quadboob as well. Straps are on the verge of being too long, as I have them adjusted almost ... to their maximum shortness. Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely.

Based on my experience with this bra, I will definitely keep requesting reduced cup height for any future Comexim orders. I would also like to try a higher gore and larger cup size as well. I tried a larger cup size (75M) in this same bra (without any custom requests, so just the "standard" version), but the cup height was incredibly too much for my vertically short, FoB, high set boobs.

**My sizes for reference: UK 32J/JJ; Ewa Michalak S/Sm style 70JJ/75J, and Ewa Michalak Pl 70K/75JJ.**

I absolutely love this bra. It is so comfortable and I could wear it all day. It is now one of my favorite bras. It really feels like the Cleo Juna that I own in the 28G. I bought this bra from another user.

  10. Me: soft, narrow, empty on top, but even in a bra

This is exactly what it says on the label - a nice basic bra. Out of the box, it was very tight, but it stretched out significantly after 2-3 wears. I would never wear a 60 band in EM, but this 60 stretches out to 29". The elastic straps are also very stretchy as is the elastic in the armpit, but I find it comfortable.

I managed to guess my size on the first try. I did this by choosing a 60 band and then calculating the difference between 60 and my most accurate ... bust measurement of 88-89 cm and choosing that size on Comexim's chart.
EDIT: I have shrunk in size and this no longer fits. I would guess I was a 60F/G or 65E/F now.

Overall, the shape is minimized compared to an EM bra, but not overly so under clothing. Because of the shape of the cup (it is shallow on the bottom), I get the tiniest bit of quadboob in this size, but it is too slight to go up a cup IMO and it is not visible under clothing. It is labeled as a plunge on the Comexim website, but it has a higher gore than any plunge I've owned - so it is very secure even for soft breasts. The narrow wires with a significant U shape also contribute to increased security.

I think this is a quality bra, but it is one step below EM for me - the fabric looks a little cheap (shiny) and the underwires more easily distort under tension. This could lead to a little bit of a balancing act to find the correct size for someone with larger breasts (who needs a very tight band fit) - on the one hand the band is very stretchy, but on the other the wires will pull out if the band is too tight.

The seams do not show under a thin shirt so it's a good t-shirt bra.

    • I realize this must come off creepy but I was going through the pictures of the comexim basic and went "oh, I already posted a picture of me in this?" seeing your picture.. and the I was like "No, I'm sure I didn't" but for the longest time I couldn't shake the feeling that it might be me, ha!
Looking at a few of your other pics the similarity isn't quite as spot on but you should look at the slightly angled one of you that shows up in the general picture gallery of the bra and my angled pictures of me in my slowianki if you are interested in seeing a possible body dubble. Sorry again if this feels creepy. :)
