  1. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

    65G

    Didn't fit

    I love this bra.
I don't typically buy "basic" bras anymore (that's all I used to wear) but I knew I needed one.

For interviews I've been wearing an Aerie Lindsey 32D and I can't scoop and swoop so it's mostly uncomfortable.
I put the Lindsey up for sale after ordering my Comexims.

As usual, up front and center cups, no pushing in side tissue awkwardly, or lettinf it flop to the sides. Wires touch, gore height is perfect, cup height is perfect.
I was a bit worried about cup height, especially after trying the 60HH (65H).
That's one size up but it looks so much bigger by comparison.
Really not sure what's up with ... that xD

The band is taut; I thought it was too tight at first but then I realized I had it way too far up my back. After sitting it where it should be, I realized that mine is definitely TTS.
I guess maybe I ought to stop saying that with 30 bands, because I'm measuring 29", but I honestly think it could go another inch.

Cup depth is perfect for me. Not too deep or too shallow. I swear, I love Comexim.

The gore doesn't tack perfectly. I'm not sure what exactly is causing that, as the band is firm and the cups are definitely large enough.

Anyway, this works with my shape. I'm mostly even but functionally FoB. I noticed in the 60HH basic beige, it seemed to be made for FoT people. Possibly explaining the upper gap.
The 65G however, measures the same in the top and bottom of the cup. It's for even boobs.. Has anyone else noticed more space up top on the 60HH/70H+ bras, or did I just get a special one?
The Basic 65G in white is so different, and cups aren't as high.

Other than that, padding, like the other Comexims, is very minimal. It's a thin layer of foam. Very comfy. The cups have a somewhat shiny, soft material on the outsides and band.
Band feels super supportive in this one, unlike my 70G (my mistake) and 65H Joy Hc and Longline.
    Straps are fully adjustable.

So I'd say if you're even or just very slightly FoB/FoT, with close set boobs naturally of when lifted, and need narrow wires, the Basic is excellent.
I also want to add that I have tall roots/pecs or something, but very shallow.
I was concerned about cup height, especially after trying the 60HH.
These cups aren't high on me or deep, which is great. I can't say that for the60HH which is definitely FoT.
If you're concerned at all, consider ordering lowered cups.

I'm super happy to finally have a supportive, comfortable, simple bra.
    Yay Comexim! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Edit:
I wore this all day yesterday. At the end of the day, I was super happy to see that the wires came less than half an inch away from my tissue. I have an uncommon IMF, so it's mostly impossible to find narrow enough wires with enough cup depth. This, and my Coco are the best.
I wish I could say the same for the Joys, but unfortunately, at least the Longline runs pretty wide.

@pumpkinswife Just wanted to tag you so you can see the 65G.
I mentioned in my review that 60HH runs FoT. I don't know if that has anything to do with fabric or sizing differences.

Maybe someone else can add their two cents because I'm new to Comexim and I don't know if their sizing/shape changes with depth, or if one of my bras is just odd.

      My bad. I don't see an edit button anymore..did I break it?D:

    • Thanks!!!! So is it regular cups or reduced?

    • pumkinswife Np! They're regular :)

    • 1

Awesome!!! I can't believe how much shorter the cups look.

    • pumkinswife I know! It's crazy.
Believe it or not, I measured from the bottom wire to the top cup edges on my 60HH /65H and the 65G, and the HH is only about a centimeter higher. I even layed the G inside the bigger one to make sure I didn't measure wrong.

I guess it's the unnecessary cup depth that tries lying flat and makes the cups look taller. That's all I can guess.

    65H

    Didn't fit

    Finally!

So, I ordered this in 65H, because I heard the cups ran small, and the band runs loose.
I figured, a loose 30 band in a longline won't be too bad.

The band does indeed run verrry loose. If you want a snug band, go down. I'm 29" underbust and I think I could have used the 60 (28)band..

The cups do indeed run small, measuring about 8" maybe give a bit, in the 65H.
Even though this is a half cup, the cups are just a tad too tall for me and gape slightly up top. I could have gotten a 65G or 60H and probably been just a bit better ... off due to my lack of upper fullness..

The wire width..ah, yep, people are saying it runs wide, and yes it does. The wires are probably a half inch from my IMF. Not bad, but not as hoped.

The gore, yep, people have been saying it doesn't lie flat. My issue with it, I think lies in the fact that the band runs fairly loose-or maybe TTS(30") and it just feels a little too big. I'm pretty sure big bands can make it so the gore doesn't tack also.
The right cup is also too big, so I have one partly saggy cup, and the left is full. For the record, my right is smaller and more FoB, and I usually prefer fitting to the smaller one.

I partially feel like the cups look big. I definitely could have gone go 65G, and I realized that after trying Emanuelle 65F and immediately wished I'd gotten the 65G or 60H Joy Longline.

So yeah, half cup or not, I probably could have either used lowered cups or the 65G/60H.

Straps are great and adjust long/short enough.
I think I'd recommend going down a band if you're in between sizes (like go for the 28 if you're 29" like me; 30 if you're 31", etc.), go up a cup if you're even to FoT, keep your usual Comexim cup or get lowered cups if that's possible in a half cup- if you're more shallow on top.

Overall, I really love the look of this bra.
Fabric is smooth, padding is very minimal, thin, and not stiff. It's more like doubled up fabric, but with a thin layer of foam.
    Great feeling.

I love the design and colors. I wish I had nicer skin and a fairer complexion because I'm not a big fan of how the colors look on me, but oh well.

The cups are wide and shallow, so keep that in mind with this.

    Edit:
I want to mention that I adjusted the straps and the cups no longer gap.
That's great, as I was confused why 8-8.5" cups weren't working!

I'm unhappy with 5.5" wire width, but now that the cups fit, I'm going to be keeping this.
Great, as it's such a lovely bra and I got a really nice pattern xD

  3. Joy Half Cup (383)

I had a bit more luck with this than the Joy Longline in 65H.
This is a sister size, 70G, in the HC.
I had trouble finding reviews, but what I did find said the bands were tight.

On my particular bra, the band feels like a TTS 70 (32"). I do wish I'd have gotten the 65H. It isn't riding up at all, but I don't feel as "secure" I guess.

I do like the Hc more than the Longline. Lookwise, they're the same besides less or more material.
The gore on this one sits a lot more flat.
I have similar issues with my right boob being somewhat too small, but I ... actually believe the Hc's cups are just a tad shorter. I say this because I don't get the gapping on my right in the Hc, but I do with the Longline.

So band, as far as I can tell, TTS. Maybe if you're in between sizes (I'm in between 28 and 30"), go with the size after your measurement(29=30; not 32..31=32, not 34, etc.).

Cups, I believe run small. This is a 70G, and I should probably wear a 65G in Comexim.
The cup depth is about 8", maybe give a little(not much).

I recommend you stay with your band and go up a cup.

Straps are fully adjustable, wires are still somewhat wide on the Hc.
The Joys seem to definitely be fairly wide and shallow, I'd say the Longline more so.

If you need average to slightly wide wires and want Comexim, I'd give this a try.
It also offers decent room for projection, but consider going up a cup.

Cup lining is a very thin later of foam, similar to Freya longlines (which are a bit easier to find and test in Nordstrom/rack and such).

Cups are up front and centered as I've experienced with the other Comexims (Basic,Joy Longline, Coco, Emanuelle), wires touch, and you get a very lifted, round, but more natural look.

So, yeah, I tried. Definitely know now to stay with my band and usually get a G (except in the Hc's case).

I'll be keeping this despite the band. I'm unsure about the Longline. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

  4. Geisha Plunge Bra (202)

This is my first Comexim bra. The first thing I noticed is how tight the band is. My underbust measures tightly 70 cm (loosely 73) and it fits just barely and is the tightest bra I have. The cups fit well in 70HH. For comparison I wear Ewa Michalak in size 70FF. This bra has taller cups than my EM S-style bras.

    • Looks like a great fit! I also wear 70FF in EM and seem to hover in between the 70H to 70HH sizes in Comexim. I don't have Geisha, but just ordered Dottie and the Pin Up Girl swimsuit.

I ordered this before I read that one should order half-cups a cup size larger. It's not like, crazy too small like I'm going to fall out of it but the gore doesn't really tack and I definitely runneth over. Not sure if I want to deal with the hassle of returning it back to Poland, and it is soooo pretty I may hang on to it anyway. I could lose weight!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

  6. Ingrid Plunge Bra (289)

First I must say that this is technically 65L with reduced cups and raised gore, but I don't know how to specify that here, so I just put the equivalent.

I adore this bra. I was on the fence about it for about a year before I finally caved and tried it. Now I want at least one more! It's so much prettier in person than online, and very comfortable. I think Comexim has become my favorite brand. The wires just fit so much better than any others. Even EM bras are too wide for my breasts (though I can wear them without irritation), so Comexim's are perfect.

Yet another bra based on the basic, which is a good shape for me. ALL the Ingrids for me!

The bands definitely stretch out too quickly, but nothing a quick alteration can't fix.

Well obviously I love this bra or I wouldn't have gotten a new one when I started to quadboob out of my old one. It's actually been a really good basic, which was surprising. It's also very comfortable, which is why I reach for it often. This one and the Ingrid are my favorite bras. For a more in-depth review, check out my thoughts on the 65J. This one is a perfect fit-though is technically a 65L with reduced cups (I just don't know how to compensate for that here).

  8. Iris Plunge Bra (246)

The band fits like a regular 28. The cups aren't particularly shallow-friendly, but if I use the innermost hooks the wires stretch enough and the cups fit a little better. The bottom of the cups are pretty shallow, and there are some projections near the gore. The cups are a bit bigger than 55D Geisha. I get some gaps towards the top and near the gore, but somehow the silhouette is actually fine even when I am wearing very thin shirts. The wires are soft and comfortable. Straps width is on the wider side. The bra is lightly padded.

Update: The bra fits much better when I use tighter hooks. I was able to eliminate the gapping near the gore by simply using the inner hooks. I initially only used the outermost hooks because I thought it might be too tight, but the band feels actually okay.

  9. Tosca Plunge Bra (247)

Bought this used, so I can't say how much it may have stretched, but I doubt it was much. I have several 70 bands and they haven't stretched in spite of my weight gain. This is a very comfortable bra and it's really beautiful.
    Everything just works.
I'd say it runs true to size, comparable to a large 32, firm 34 and GG/H cup.
    Very well made.

I find this runs smaller in the cup compared to Geisha bra, I have both in size 70HH. The gore floats and when I press it against my sternum the top edge of the cup cuts in. The band feels a bit loose and stretchy but it is fine for sunbathing. I would perhapse like to try 65 J or K, if that is even made. However I am keeping it as I need a suit now. It looks very good and stays in place if I do not attemt to run. I also like that the side view is sort of minimized.
I have matching briefs in size M, (my hips are 94 cm, waist 73 cm) and it fits just fine.

Oh, Comexim. Well, with my recent tissue migration and change in measurements, I really wanted to try Comexim, and took a stab at it when I saw this on eBay in a close approximation of what Comexim size I guessed I might be.

I was wrong, and it'll be returned. But first, the bra itself - very pretty, a nice neutral taupe color with a gray lacelike overlay. There's a pretty charm at the gore, and the whole thing seems well made.

The fit is way off for me, though. The wires are insanely wide for a Comexim at 6" - I added a picture of ... the measurement just to prove I'm not crazy. So this was disappointing, since the entire reason I tried Comexim was for the narrower wires. There is sufficient projection at the bottom of the cup for me that really reinforces my realizations that all the molded bras I've tried thus far are varying degrees of too shallow.

The band is a snug 28/60, stretching to 27". I can fasten it, although it would probably get uncomfortable over a full day's wear.

The cups. Oh dear, I don't even know where to start. They're huge, but I'm not sure in which ways. My boobs actually do barely touch what appears to be the apex of the bra, but there's so much extra space at the tops of them I could hide my cell phone, keys, and a cold beer. The bottom of the cup was trying to collapse, but I think it's because the whole thing is too wide and too big. I'll be posting a fit request to get others' opinions on how I should proceed with Comexim. I'm specifically interested in whether the cups are too big overall, or if I got the overall size mostly correct and just need to go with reduced cups going forward.

This bra is gorgeous and so feminine. I love it! This is my favorite bra. For reference I'm 27 underbust and 41 inch bust. The bust on this comes in at about 28.5 stretched, which is slightly bigger than the other 60N Comexim bras I ordered at the same time.

Edit to add: I completely forgot I customized this bra by lowering the gore, cup height, and having three hooks (I think the hooks might be standard though).

This is a really good basic bra. It has cute details so it doesn't feel so matronly. I fit really well In this bra. For reference, my underbust is 27 and my over bust is 41 at the time of this review.

The band barely measured over 28 inches (28.2).

  14. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

I ordered this bra through Wellfitting, and was a little unsure about it as their calculator recommended a 32H and I'm generally a 30/32F except for sometimes needing an FF/G in molded bras. I'd read that their bras run small in the cups so I bit the bullet and got the 32H. Soooo glad I did, it is about as perfect as a bra can be. I've never had a bra that was so comfortable without needing a breaking-in period. Generally I hate padded/molded bras because I feel like my tits are stuffed into styrofoam cups but these have a cotton lining inside that feels wonderful. The ... cup shape fits like a glove, my nipple sits right in the seam intersection and I'm held up and in without being squashed. I love the wide band and that there are 4 sets of hooks. And for a basic bra, it's actually kinda sexy in a retro-ish sort of way. My boyfriend took one look and was like, "So you're gonna buy a few more of those right?" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> So I've got a few more on the way, this time directly from Comexim's site as it's cheaper. Another plunge style and a half-cup, $75 including the shipping--unbelievable!!

  15. Basic Plunge Bra (170)

I am SO happy to finally have found a Comexim size that works for me. Trial and Error through Wellfitting is definitely the way to go. It took a few months but I finally found an amazing fit. This one still seems a bit shallow but totally wearable and comfortable. I had to have the cups reduced and the straps pulled in though because the cups were just way too high and the straps were trying to saw my arms off on the regular 38J. I was so thrilled that I've already put an order in directly to Comexim for the Ingrid (hoping for similar success!). The band ... seems a bit stretchy compared to the last Basic I tried in a 85 but it also be from me losing a bit of weight, it still fits more than OK though. The one problem is it seems all bras rest on my ribcage in a terrible spot and by the end of the day sitting certain ways get achey. I just keep trying to bend the wires a bit outwards to accommodate.

This is a beautiful bra but sadly I did not get the size right. The cups on this 70K are WAY too large for me. Band fits perfectly. When I ordered the bra I asked that the straps be moved 1 cm. Given how much too large the cups are on me, I wonder if the straps were moved out instead of in... Since it is a 'special' order, I couldn't return it.

A little pointer than any other Comexim bra I have ever owned. The flowers are Pinker in person than they appear in photos and don't quite match the straps and bows, which are a true red. The bra is lined with a red cotton in the same red as the straps, which makes it very pretty for your benefit alone, which is great - kind of like having a secret. Runs a touch large in the cup compared to @Comexim Ginger and @Comexim Ingrid, which I have in the same size, but not a full cupsize, and the band is slightly stretchier than both, making this a great PMS bra.
