This bra was ordered with a lowered centre gore and reduced cup height.
I requested these changes in order to reduce the gaping that I had near the gore on my previous Comexim bra. Unfortunately, I still have a lot of gaping with this bra. I think it might be a size too large, but the main problem is too much space near the gore, just as I have with the Freya Deco. I have close-set breasts but unless they are pushed to the centre by side support, there isn't a lot of centre fullness.
The band is quite comfortable for me and I like the geometric pattern (which seems more aqua than mint to me), especially as so many bras are hyper-feminine. But unfortunately the gaping is just too significant for me to accept. My breasts look somewhat saggy in it without a shirt, although in a shirt they just look kind of square on top. Comexim just isn't a good brand for me, I fear.
This bra was ordered with a lowered centre gore and reduced cup height.
Like the Mint Sorbet which I got in the same order, this bra also has some gaping near the centre gore although not quite as significantly. It still looks reasonable under a shirt. There is impressive projection, although it does give me a bit of a torpedo shape and a bit of elf shoes as well.
I like the red and green and the fact that it isn't a hyper-feminine bra, but I think it's a bit too large for me and I'm not sure the fit is good enough to keep it.
**CUSTOM ORDER: Requested (1) reduced cup height AND (2) higher gore by 2 cm**
Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, but the straps are actually more wide set than other Comexim bras I have/tried. I have a Comexim Jacqueline in 75M with reduced cups and a higher gore by only 1-1.5 cm, and it seems to fit quite nicely. I was hoping a slightly higher gore than that would make me less "jiggly", but it seemed to defeat the purpose that I was attempting. The ...gore cannot even tack because I am too close set at that point, plus my boobs win the fight with the soft Comexim wires. Oh well, better luck next time! Also, another downfall of asking for TOO high of a gore is to keep the bra a true "plunge", the tops of the cups have to be raised slightly to keep the angle....therefore making the cups a tad too tall for me (which kind of defeated my asking for reduced cup height....oops.) Cups too tall = too much empty space at the top that I cannot fill (and probably contributing to the wide set strap thing.)
Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely. The bra is very pretty with tiny raised fuzzy pink dots over a black background. Also, there are cute little pink flower details on the gore and straps instead of the usual bows, which is a nice change.

Wires are nice and narrow, but the straps are actually more wide set than other Comexim bras I have/tried. I have had this bra 2 times before, once in this same size with no customizations (standard low gore and taller cups) and once in a smaller cup size (75L) with reduced cup height and standard low gore. The first 75M (standard) was too tall, but the 75L (reduced ...cups) gave me quadboob and I spilled out the middle -- I thought the perfect fix would be to get a 75M with reduced cups and a higher gore. Well, I may have asked for TOO high of a gore, because to keep the bra a true "plunge", the tops of the cups have to be raised slightly to keep the angle....therefore making the cups a tad too tall for me again! I am a 32J and my favorite bra is the Floris. I keep looking at various foreign bras - I'm really fascinated with your take on this Comexim Basic. Esp on this one, I almost feel like, in going for such a round cup, the bra ends up minimizing and smooshing your breasts towards each other. I used to think I prefered a rounded look like this bra, but the Floris is more torpedo-y but my breasts seem to actually fit that shape better than all the rounded ones I've tried.
I'm thinking i probably WONT try this bra - I'm sure I'd be spilling out the center, too!
dbmamaz This particular Comexim didn't work well for me because the cups were too tall and the gore was too short. This was the very first one I ever tried. I've since revised my Comexim orders to include asking for (1) reduced cup height and (2) higher gores, and they work fabulously on me now. I've also lost some weight and have tried a few different sizes as well over the course of my weight loss journey. I've added many more Comexim bras on Bratabase that you can see work quite well for me.
I do agree that this shape is more of a smooshed/round shape, but I prefer that over torpedo shapes, even though I am very pendulous. I have lots of stretch marks/saggy skin that I am very self-conscious about from early puberty and a lifetime of fluctuating weight, so the uplifted/smooshed affect makes my skin appear more firm.
We all just have different preferences, of course!
I actually have the same thing going on - I prefer rounded because it kind of gathers it all up and makes me look firm (mine's more due to rapid growth and breast feeding). I actually altered some EM S bras and they have a more rounded shape like this one (it wasn't intentional, I just removed part of the cup and centered the straps). Interesting because I thought all Comexim bras were "torpedo shaped." (which also fits the shape of my breasts better - I'm fairly certain this is the same for all small underbust/large bust women).
The fit is extremely similar to the Carmen (see my other review): the bra construction is exactly the same, which is great! Again, a tad small on my bigger boob, but overall, I love this bra.
I'm in love with Comexim! Awesome fit. The cup is slightly too small on my bigger boob, but it did not bother me enough to get an exchange. The wires don't poke in my arms, the projected shape is lovely, and I get a really nice cleavage with it. The quality is very good and even after numerous washes it still looks brand new.

This is unquestionably the most beautifully constructed bra with the finest attention to detail. This exquisite style is comprised of a lightly padded plunge cut in the lower cup style. The fine workmanship and high quality of construction and fabric employed surpasses all that I have ...previously encountered.
This style features a timeless and immensely stylish blue tartan fabric covering the exterior of the smooth black cups which continues throughout the exterior of the wings, whilst the interior of the cups are lined in black cotton. The upper section of the cups are covered in a smooth silky navy fabric, the same fabric of which is employed on the interior of the wings. The centre gore is embellished by a two-tone blue bra. The detailing of the construction in its entirety is flat and invisible beneath a blouse. The straps are fully adjustable and the band features 2 hooks. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request in addition to customising other aspects of the construction!
The cup width measures 13.4cm from tip to tip of the underwire. The cup depth measures 26cm inside of the cup, from each end of the underwire across the deepest line of the cup. I have measured the band as follows. Unstretched in a resting position from clasp to clasp measures exactly 50cm. Fully stretched to the maximum length from clasp to clasp measures exactly 69cm. I really, really wanted this bra to work out for me. Unfortunately it was just way too big. The band was stretchier than I'm used to, but what ended up being the deal breaker for me was that the cups were easily 2 sizes too big for me -- despite my wearing 36FF/G (UK) in unlined Cleos. I actually tested this, and found I was able to fit a pair of ankle-length socks in each cup and it still didn't quadboob.
Ah well. Things I loved, though:
-The construction. It seemed very sturdy, yet the material used for the band was super soft. Very comfy! I also loved ...that the straps weren't too thin, and that it had 3 hooks instead of the normal 2.
-The design. I'm one of those people who crave simple basic designs -- plain black, grey, dark blue maybe. Despite that, I admire what they did with this bra: a very pretty, intricate floral design on a red backdrop, BUT trimmed with grey edging and detail. It sounds like an odd color combination but it works, and I loved that this meant my straps -- all grey -- wouldn't stand out if they ended up showing a bit under my typically black/grey/blue tops. I wish more manufacturers did this! Have your colorful designs, but make the visible areas of the bra not be so insanely loud as to clash with every top you wear if they happen to peek through.
As for fit, the only other thing I can really say (besides that it was too big for me) is that the cups seemed rather tall, and a huge chunk of my empty cup space was due to that. I'm not even full-on-bottom; my best-fitting bras so far have been bras meant for very even fullness (Meg, Lily). It also technically did not have enough immediate projection at the bottom of the cup for me; there was some slight bending-in of the cups going on. But I have yet to find a bra that doesn't have this problem for me.
Finally, yes, the cup width (underwires) runs narrow. I have an extremely narrow root so this would have been fine for me, but keep it in mind if you're more average or wide rooted. Read more 270 more words
This is a beautiful bra. I love the color and the design, however it just doesn't fit me right. The wires are delicate and so close together the fabric that encloses them overlaps a bit. My main issue with the bra is that the very tall center gore won't tack, so the cups hang loose on me. When I push the gore flush against my chest, the cups fit almost perfect, but still wouldn't quite be able to fully fill the top of the cup. The band is snug and comfortably stretchy.

I should clarify that Comexim do not currently have size labels available for this custom size. Therefore Anna, the company owner, always uses a size tag printed for another order and carefully hand prints the "55J" size on the tag. I can confirm that all of my orders in size 55J are consistently presented in this manner. I am enormously pleased to find a company whom is willing to provide 55 bands upon request!

This is such a beautiful bra. I just needed an extender for this bra to fit. It gives me a more centered shape, especially when I do scoop and swoop. The straps are perfect for me.
This bra's wires are almost too narrow for me (definitely too narrow if I don't scoop and swoop at all, which I think is a first). The cups are definitely a bit too small though, since scooping and swooping gives me a fair amount of quadboob on both sides. If it settles, it looks decent though. Has to be one of the comfiest bras I own, and I think I'm gonna search for a 60HH to compare.
Brand new: Pretty & practical, but cup runs smaller than Snow by a full size. It also seems to emphasize the difference in size between my breasts in a way that the Snow didn't. The color is a good nude if you're pale, but I am concerned about the longevity of the lace overlay; I am afraid it will snag on my jewelry & such more than other fabrics. 3-part, lined cup, fully-adjustable straps, 3 hooks, reasonable price (ordered direct).
It seems like the cups are too small and the wires are too flimsy to have the gore tack. The gore's reallly narrow though, and the channels over lap. so if it were to tack, it seems like it'd be great. I'd love to try this bra in a 60HH, but don't know if I'd ever get the chance to. The material used for the cups also feels a little scratchy, but I didn't remove the tag to wash it (since it didn't fit), so I don't know if it'd soften up with some washes.
This is a beautiful and well constructed bra. The narrow wires were perfect on me, the band size was good, and the band fit quite comfortably. I liked the relatively narrow straps too (0.6", narrower than most bras in my size). However, the cups were both too small on me and the wrong shape. I think 65K would be my best size in Comexim, but this is the third Comexim bra I've tried, and all of them have been absolutely wrong in cup shape for my breasts. The cup apex seems to be too east-west for me, and there is not enough immediate projection, and I get flattened and squished sideways. I think it's time for me to write off Comexim forever.
Band fits well, comparable to Ewa Michalak 75 bands. The side wings are very wide (which is awesome) and amazingly don't cover my entire underarm! Wires are nice and narrow, and straps are less on the edge of my shoulders than some other bras. Gore is very low, which is nice for some clothing, but for daily wear this causes me to spill out of the cups, as I am very soft and close set. Cups are too small causing quadboob as well. Straps are on the verge of being too long, as I have them adjusted almost ...to their maximum shortness. Quality is very nice -- less luxurious and soft than Ewa Michalak bras -- but still lovely.
Based on my experience with this bra, I will definitely keep requesting reduced cup height for any future Comexim orders. I would also like to try a higher gore and larger cup size as well. I tried a larger cup size (75M) in this same bra (without any custom requests, so just the "standard" version), but the cup height was incredibly too much for my vertically short, FoB, high set boobs.
