Well that's it, the quest is over. I found The One.
My breasts are lifted, supported, nicely shaped. The wires aren't digging in painfully anywhere. The seams in the cups are low profile, making the bra nearly invisible under clothing. The cup padding is thick enough to hide nipples, but doesn't feel too heavy. The cups are rather closed, but they work for my centre-full, full-on-bottom breasts. I'm not scared to bend over and fall out. The workmanship looks good, and it doesn't look like an old lady bra. The bow details and lace trim make the bra pretty, in a discreet sort of way.
Comexim Basic Bra, I wish I'd found you years ago!
As many of my regular followers know, I’ve lost a significant amount of weight this year, and it’s affected my boobs. I’ve lost 2-3” off of my over bust measurement, so I’ve got a very limited amount of bras that fit, or sort of fit me now. My faves are Comexim and Ewa Michalak, and while I feel pretty comfortable with what size I can do in EM, not so much with Comexim, especially as most of my bras are altered. My birthday was in August, so I decided to use my discount with Breakout Bras and order an unaltered bra ...in a size smaller than I’d been wearing. I knew that my 70H - Comexim » Triss 3hc was once a titch too small, and now it’s a little bit too big, and my 65HH - Comexim » Scottie (648) was also fitting a little bit too big now, so I was thinking about trying 65H or 70G unaltered to gage the fit, because I really want to reorder my Hot Chocolate in a new size to wear. The problem was that most of the bras in the same cut had backorders on the sizes that I was interested in. This one, however, was in my size, and ready to ship with no waiting. It’s one that I have loved from the moment I saw it on Instagram. It’s also very similar to the 65HH - Comexim » Bridget Half Cup (554) that I was able to try a while ago. So I grabbed it!
My stats, currently:
28.5” snug 34.75-35” standing 38” leaning
9” vertical 9.5” horizontal 10” laying (As of April, though it’s probably less now)
My tissue is very very soft. Like pudding. I’m technically even, however because I have less upper fullness than I used to (which was still shallow), I fit more fob functionally. I’m also short rooted as a result, and center full. I need narrow wires, and immediate depth at the wire to accommodate my projection.
The details:
This bra is an unlined, 3 part half cup. The colourway is called Dove Brocade on the website, and it’s mostly a dove grey base, with pinky purple and white stitching. I think it’s kind of a flower pattern but, it’s a little whimsical, and I don’t know for sure what it is. The bow at the center is the same pinky purple, and the inside of the cups is lined with the same colour mesh.
The fit:
So, the advice of the website said that the band was stretchy, so to size down if in between two sizes. The sentiment was also echoed here in the reviews. I was nervous about the size as I had also read that the cup size was running small. The previous unlined half cup was a 65HH though, so I suspected that it would be too large now. I normally take a 65/30 if it is a stretchy band or it’s got the extra set of hooks, or a 70 because they tend to fit tighter and more like a 30 than a 32. Due to the comments on the band, I opted for the 30, and almost a 28. I have to agree that the band is super stretchy. I’m actually wondering if I do need a 28. I feel comfortable in it, though once I tightened up my straps some, I felt like it wanted to make the band ride up. Loosely pulling with it on the loosest hooks, I can get 2 fingers underneath, comfortably...but, I can stretch it more and get my hand in. I readjusted the band position, and I don’t think it will move. I’m concerned that if I do size down, that it will wear out faster. As for the fit of the cups, I initially thought it was maybe too big still, or too tall, though I adjusted the straps a bit tighter than they were as they came, which helped. My small side is still gapping but, it’s ok on my big side, and I don’t think I can get away with a smaller size. The cups are lined with a little strip of clear elastic, which is usually a problem for me but, it seems ok here. Normally, I would have straps moved in 2cm but, I don’t know if it’s possible on this kind of bra, and like I said, I wanted to try totally unaltered to see what it was like (and BOB only sell unaltered unless you request alterations through them).
Anyway, I love this bra! I’m so happy with it! The only thing is whether I should swap it out with a 28G for a bit of a snugger band. I’ve messaged customer service about this and included a few videos for a fit check. Read more 703 more words
This bra is gorgeous on you! Thanks for the review and sizing info. Glad the cups worked out for you. Hopefully the band is okay for you, or BOB will have some good advice on that. As far as I know, Comexim does not do alterations on their unlined bras, I don’t think?
Love this on you! It’s one of my prettiest Comexim bras I own. You also can’t beat the comfort of a Comexim!
Thanks. BoB suggest the size down in the band.
Here’s the response from BoB:
It seems like you'd get a more secure fit, as well as better boost into the upper cups if you do the 28G UK size instead. The fact that you tightened the straps (which gave you a better hug along the upper bust) but it caused the band to scoot up a bit already and you had to tug it back into place is usually a pretty clear indicator that you'll want the smaller band size for longer wear and to maintain good support as the bra's elastic stretches over time with wear.
The snugger band will also hug the entire bra more firmly, pulling the cup fabric more taut to the bust and boost your tissue a bit more firmly into the upper cups. If the band is a little snug for comfort in the very beginning, but you're liking the fit overall, then you can always add a bra-back extender until it 'breaks in' and gets a little more comfortable and molded to your body with a few wears.
I hope this helps you decide what you prefer for the fit of Onyks!
*I did readjust the band but it did seem to stay in place when I lifted my arms, so I’m not sure. I’m thinking maybe I will try the 28G. I’d like to research the stretched band lengths of the 60s here.
Calluna Veru pretty on you! I think BoB made a few good points about sizing down. If it would still be comfortable on you, you'd probably get a much better fit in the 28G. The only thing, of course, if your rib sensitivity to consider...would you actually get as much wear out of it if it was on the tighter side?
The bra looks beautiful on you! As always, thanks for the highly detailed review that puts everyone else's to shame :)
Wilderness1 yes, my rib sensitivity is a concern for sure if I size down. It looks like the stretched band measurements of the 60s here are just under 29”, which is just shy of what I prefer (29-30”) so I’d probably have to use an extender for the first little bit but, given that it is super stretchy, it might be ok.
marilynne I try to be thorough, especially with descriptions, in case of any visually impaired people reading who are unable to see the bra.
Hey everyone... at the suggestion of the BoB customer service, I went ahead and ordered the 28G, as it was the last one. I’ll be able to try both and return the one I don’t want. It’s already on the way!
Calluna good luck! Looking forward to hearing how it fits comparatively
I’m expecting the 28G to arrive by the end of the week. Canada Post says to expect it Friday, but I did get the 30FF earlier than expected. That said, it’s Thanksgiving for us today, so Friday might be accurate. I’ll definitely update once I have it.
My 28G is here and I have a new set of pictures and review.
Confession: when I realized that Comexim was so accommodating with customizations I got carried away. I love the way the Rose longline looked but had read that the longline 3hc were a little wide and shallow. I had been lusting after this bra forever. So, I requested to have it made into a plunge and they agreed - with no questions or additional charges. The ease with which customizations can be made at Comexim are going to get me in trouble - the possibilities are literally endless.
This bra is simply perfection. I love it. The cups fit like a dream. Like the other bras in this order, ...I requested to have the straps moved in 2cm and the gore narrowed. I can confirm that the gore was narrowed, but the straps appear to be in the original position. Perhaps because of this, I do not appear to have a problem with the volume of the cups, unlike the other three bras. Like the Paola, the band is slightly too large. But given my flared ribcage, it is actually very comfortable in the longline style. If I were to order another longline plunge, however, I would want to try a 60 - I am worried that the band will stretch too quickly and lose its support.
This bra is hands-down my favourite in the order. It is husband-approved and wildly comfortable. The subtle sheer lace detailing on the top and the pattern of the texture is incredible. I am so disappointed that I didn't buy the matching high-waisted panties. I will definitely pick a pair up in my next order, and likely another longline plunge as well. Read more 170 more words

WOW! So beautiful! I’m always nervous about longline bras and wonder what they are like for long term wear. Like, would you wear it to work or save it for date night with the hubby?
Calluna it is actually supremely comfortable. I don't have a physical job, so I think I could easily wear it on a daily basis. I will try it out and let you know!
Beautiful! Looks great on you. Glad this one fits you.
So are the pleats in the print actually textured or do they just look pleated?
I love the longline, as it gives the rib area a band "holiday" so to speak. If only I could get them to make one that fit me in the cup (sniffle sniffle).... This one looks lovely on you!
Calluna they just looked textured. It is part of the fabric print.
I just received this bra from a swap, I had been looking at the Dottie every time I've ordered from Comexim, but never ordered it, I guess I thought the bold colors weren't practical or something. However when the I was offered it on a swap, I jumped on it. I am so glad I finally got this bra, not only is it super cute and girly, but it is a perfect fit. I haven't had it on long, but it instantly gave me the feeling of being made for my boobs, much like my AP Lady Grey Sophistcate. Like the Lady Grey the ...Dottie also utilizes a thinner strap at least in this size. I wasn't told of any alterations, but my guess would be this has had the straps moved in because the strap placement in quite similar to other Comexims and AP's that I have the straps moved in on. I wasn't sure about the thinner straps when I got my Lady Grey, but the combination of thinner straps and having them moved in is really nice especially if you've been wearing a bra with wider set straps and your armpits need a break. Whenever I place my next Comexim order I will definitely be getting matching panties for this bra, it is too cute not to have matching undies. I actually think this print would make a really cute swimsuit.
I will get around to measuring the Dottie tonight, I like it too much to take it off and do it right now.
Update: I absolutely love this bra, I am about to place a Comexim order soon and I emailed them because I was wanting to get some AP bras and needed pricing. I mentioned I wanted to get a Dottie thong and I just heard back that they are out of fabric. If anyone has Dottie panties in good condition they want to sell I would buy them. Medium would be ideal, but could work with Small or Large too. Read more 238 more words
I always find myself looking at that style, too! Looking forward to seeing the measurements as I'm still narrowing down my size. Congrats on the great fit :)
that looks so lovely!! I also always look at that.. and i think is the right choice to take is as a summer colourful bra *_*
This bra that I thought was the "one that got away" is actually in my wardrobe! I don't care if it's a tad too small in the cups and a bit too loose in the band either...it's mine, it's gorgeous... And WOW, the Comexim's 3 half cup looks fantastic on!
I love the bottoms! This makes me really excited for mine to get here :)
Ahh, I'm so envious - sadly I missed out on both Irish Coffee and Sonia, my two favourite Comexims!
alexad I'd email about Irish Coffee! The bra isn't on the website but the bottom is, so when they emailed me to tell me that they were out of fabric for the Noa I ordered, I asked if there was any way they'd have enough Irish Coffee fabric left to make me a matching set and they said yes! I figured it was a long shot, but I've been eyeing it for a while so I decided to try and see lol
Thanks, kermitdafrog21! But dang, I'm currently waiting for an order, and I really should wait for that to arrive, so that I'm sure which size to order...
Looks great! I'm still sad my Irish Coffee wasn't a half cup like I requested. Wouldn't fit me anymore either way though. :P
This is 100% the best swimsuit top I've ever owned! Of course it's a great brand and a style that I wear all the time, but still! The design is wonderful in my opinion, just fun enough and still adult looking!
This is a very beautiful bra! I got it with straps moved in, reduced cup and overlapping wires at the gore.
I've read that the two seamed Comexim half cups run small on some and I would say that this is true for me. It is not super small tho, but the gore does not sit flat it stands out about 1 cm from my chest wall.
I will wear it anyways since it gives an amazing cleavage and it blends with my skin tone under white.
Beautiful! If you decide to sell it please let me know😄
Empan I've actually heard the opposite, the single seam is supposed to be shallower and if you want the half cup style it is suggested that you request 2 seams instead of 1 to give you more projection. This could possibly allow you not to have to size up in the cup. Anyway this looks gorg on you.
I have this one; it IS gorgeous! Mine makes me spill a little toward the center, alas, but it's comfortable nonetheless. My band feels very soft, which I dislike, but again - comfortable anyway.
For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11"). I purchased this bra through r/braswap, so I'm unsure if there are any alterations. The bra is a beautiful beige color with a floral design and orange accents, and it gives me autumn vibes.
I was afraid this wouldn't work for me, since it's only my second Comexim and I'm still trying to figure out sizing. I'm so happy this is overall a good fit and very comfortable! The cups are a little tall on the sides, so they cut into my armpit but no gaping at the top of the cups like I usually have ...with other tall styles. There's some slight gaping near the gore on my smaller side, but I'm unsure why that's happening.
The straps a slightly wide but still placed better than Panache/Freya bras I've tried. I may look into getting customized Comexims with the straps moved in. The band needs to be a little tighter, so I'll probably look for 60HH bras to try in the future. Fortunately, this bra came with 4 rows of 2 hooks, so I'm using the second farthest row.
The narrow wires are comfortable and not too firm like my Panache Cari bra, but they are a little too high in my armpit. They follow my breast roots very well but maybe a little too well? I honestly can't tell if it's sitting on my breast tissue near my armpit on my right side, because the wires follow my roots so closely. I don't feel any pain or discomfort, but I speculate that my right side may have a slightly wider root compared to lefty.
The cups pull my breasts up front and center and give me a round lifted shape I've never had in my previous bras, and I love it. Comexim, where have you been all my life?? Read more 205 more words
I suppose I am the last person here testing Comexim, but I'm happy I finally did it. Here is the review of my first 3HC which is probably not my perfect size but still a great fit!
Great review! Thank you :) I went through a polka dot phase and bought tons of bras with the pattern, including 3 from Comexim. I like that even owning so many, this bra appeals to me because I find the black on beige with that bubble trim to be a classy take on dots.
letstalkaboutbras Thank you :) I see it the same way. It's classy and funny at the same time which makes it one of my favourite bras at the moment (and I have tons of them :D).
Seems to be one cup size small, so closer to a 65G. Very soft, but I'm actually quadding out of the whole thing - even the sides! I guess this was in an unusually small batch...
About me: center full and close set, dense, narrow, projected, full on bottom with tall, gradually sloping roots.
I get significant quad boob and my breasts push the wires/cups down so that they don't sit in my imf. That being said, it is still more supportive than a number of my other technically fitting bras. The only problem is that the wires hit in a weird spot and make my ribs sore and maybe even a bit slippy (connective tissue disorder problems). Comexim 3hc bras fit me quite a bit better.
If you’re quadding in it, it might be too small which makes it a bit shallow. Are you quadding in the center or all over? Have you tried loosening the straps any? I find that most bras, even projected ones, still feel like they sit 1cm lower than my imf, though the wire marks are pretty close (maybe it’s my soft tissue?) so I don’t know. Have you compared the depth of this one to your perimeter measurements? Lots of questions, sorry.
As I’m about the same size as you, I will mention that I take a 65HH/J or 70H/HH depending on the style and any alterations. So my thoughts above about it being too small are probably the reason why it seems shallow.
Calluna I believe it's too small, though I don't know if sizing up would make the cups too wide in a way that negatively affects fit.
Now that I try pretty much only projected bras (or bras that are obviously too big or small, so I don't wear them long enough for them to migrate down), I don't have trouble with the wire being too low. Seeing/feeling with this one was a bit if a blast from the beginning of my bra fit journey.
The quadding happens out of the top and in the center, on top especially on my larger side.
I will compare to my measurements once I have a chance to measure it. I don't remember what I did with the straps. I'll see if loosening helps a bit.
Ok, cups are narrower in plunges than half cups. That said, unless you are going for the 2HC, cups are still pretty narrow in the half cup. Mine are less than 5.5” (closer to 5.25”). Feel free to look at my measurements.
Calluna oh!!! I missed that! Thank you. I will take a closer look.
Your alterations might be making it a bit shallower too, in the center. Comexim is a great brand but can definitely get challenging with the sizes and alterations. Very few people get it right on the first try. Don’t lose faith!
Calluna thank you for letting me know about the alterations! I got this here on bratabase, so the alterations were chosen by the original owner. I haven't gotten the courage to order directly from Comexim myself yet.
I have been lusting after this bra since Comexim released it. I love the dark gray and lilac combination. The lilac lace is surprisingly detailed and it has a delicate silvery blue thread woven through it. The quality is lovely. I bought the matching shorts in size small and they fit like a dream. They are a cheeky fit for sure. They are surprisingly lined with dark grey mesh, so they match the bra perfectly, but, are a little thicker than expected.
I ordered this bra in a 65H and asked for the straps to be moved in 2cm and for the gore to be narrowed. ...Compared to my unaltered 60HH Comexim, these changes appear to have been made. I had wanted to try a 65H as my 60HH was a little firm in the band, and I wondered if a 65 would be more comfortable. I think this was a mistake - I can easily wear this bra on the last hook. The other 60HHs I received in the same order fit much better.
While the band is a little too large, on first wear it feels like the cups may be slightly too shallow near the wire. I have a lot more cleavage in this bra than in the 60HH and I speculate that the straps being moved in may have affected the overall volume. I am undecided on whether or not I will keep this bra, it may be a little too va-va-voom for my tastes. The set is non-returnable because of the customization, so it may have to find a new home on bratabase. Although, I do love the design, so I may order another in 60J or a 60HH with increased depth at the wire. Read more 185 more words
From my experience, the 3hcs fit smaller than the plunges... not sure if that's everyone's experience or just mine...I also found that moving the straps in does make the cup more shallow/fit smaller. Other alterations, such as lowering the gore and adding cookie pockets also made the bra more shallow in my experience (or fit smaller, I can't tell which). The last couple times I have only requested the straps to be moved in 1cm, and the depth is better, though they still don't have a ton of apex depth (which usually works for me). This bra is sure pretty though!
I should clarify on my last comment... I was referring to my 3HCs when I was talking about apex depth... The plunge I tried seemed to have more apex depth (or maybe it was just taller, not sure).
Wilderness1 thanks for this :) It is so helpful to know how the bras fit other users in a similar size range. I will have to try requesting 1cm instead of 2 for the straps.
You may just need a bigger size too (especially if you order a 3HC. I wear a 30F in most bras, but a 65HH in Comexims 3HCs). I find that I can wear a bigger size if I make all the customizations I need. So you could either try only getting straps moved in 1 cm in a 60HH, or you could try a bigger size with the straps moved in 2 cm in a 60J.
While I realize I am in a much higher cup range, from my experience moving the straps made no difference on the cup depth/projection. Where the difference in fit came in was in the fact that the straps were no longer meeting the force of resistance from the arm/armpits, allowing the cups to settle into their natural position. The best way to test the cup with the straps being an issue is to put the bra on but not put the straps over your shoulders. Then do a full swoop n scoop and see how the cups fit and feel without that arm/armpit resistance. (You may need to lift the cups up manually to get them in proper position afterwards, depending on how self supporting your breasts are.) If the cups fit very full (or over full) this way, you will need to size up in the cup to get a good fit.
MamaPagan interesting... I'll have to try that and see what happens....
Please do and let me know if you notice a difference. I used to think the same way until I tested the bras this way and realized the cups fit the same with and without the straps moved when those darn arms weren't in the way, haha.
This is gorgeous! I agree with Wilderness. I bet you'd get a great fit with a 60J with the straps moved in. And maybe reduced cup height and more depth at the wire.
Sonya I will need to try a 60J out - for bra science lol
MamaPagan That was a genius suggestion. I had never considered that you could test cup depth in that way. Without the straps on, the cups are still very full to overfull. Guess I need to size up. Thank you!
rachaelll- There is a lot of variation between individual bras too. The 60J I got from you probably has more upper room (and thus fits bigger) than any of my others. I do think you are closer to a 60J than HH.
Sonya, I was just thinking about that. That bra was so tall - I was worried to order any 60js. But I suppose when you have only tried one, you don't have a sense of what an average 60j looks like. I also wonder in the blue magic 60HH runs a little large, because it fits better than all four of the news ones.
Yes, I would say the Blue Magic (at least that one) runs 1/2 size big.
Sonya everything makes sense now. Thank you for this :) Is so frustrating that bra sizing is so inconsistent across styles.
My boobs are being supported by cups as soft as angel's butts. I was not expecting a Comexim to fit me as well as this has based on previous experience but I am so glad this did. If you are looking for a luxurious bikini top at non-luxury prices, look no further then this lovely Port. The band is nice and wide by the clasp which made of metal. The strap adjusters are also gold-coloured metal as well. They are only half-adjustable so that might pose issues for you. They have nothing on the edges to stop the adjusters from slipping but they have a zig-zag stitch down ...the middle that might work. The wings are low and the straps are very narrow set. This bikini does feature a rather low gore with a very interesting v in the middle instead of being flat across. This v means the whole front of the bikini looks like it dips lower then it does but maintains the stability of the gore. The fabric covering the cups is very soft but it is stretchy. The band is short but it stretches true to size. There are two layers in the band for extra stability. I'm taking it for a spin this weekend so we'll see how it holds up to water. Full review is on the blog. Read more 116 more words
The Joy is gorgeous and I’ve desired it for long. Sadly, I waited too long and Comexim ran out of fabric. Therefore I was ecstatic when I saw this one in a sister size listed! The pattern and colors are even more beautiful in real life.
Unfortunately, the fit of this longline is quite weird on me. I’ve never had a Comexim gore fully tack because of the soft wires and my close-set breasts, but this one sticks out by about 2 cm. Also, the entire front of the bra (from the bottoms of the cups towards the center gore) is not touching my ribcage. I could smuggle stuff ...in the gap inside the bra. Also, the gore seems much wider than in other Comexims I’ve tried.
The band is too big overall and rides up on the tightest hooks (at least this one has three rows of them unlike some Joys). At the same time, the band is a bit too tapered for my shape and the bottom edge feels quite tight already. This is a quite strange feeling.
Although I love the look of this bra, the fit is too far off for me to keep it. I think it might work better for someone with a bit more shallow and/or separated breasts. Read more 105 more words
I've just discovered that he fabric was over today, I'll love to buy this (I've sent a PM) <3
dbmamaz It is definitely! I think that a non-longline might function better for me. myfashioninsider Looking forward to seeing how you'll work it! :)
fingers crossed!!! *.*
Yup, that is exactly how my Papillon longline fits - not at all, but not due to the measurements. Its due to construction; apparently when Comexim first began doing longlines. Something about not attaching the cups correctly to a firm strip? The whole thing floats off the body, so nothing is as it should be elsewhere. I forget who, but someone here posted that they have 'solved the problem' now. Too late for you & me, Nml817 sadly! Dang thing is in my project box to add a band, or sew down - something, idk.
Comexim longlines in general are not very well constructed. In regular bras, the front panel is lines with a non-stretch mesh while the wings are lined with a stretch power mesh. In longlines, the front panel is lined with the same stretch mesh of the wings/band. The cups also are set wider (so the gore is wider) and the cups fit shallower. Its just how their longline bras are constructed.
Its kinda sad because I reeeeally want a longline that works for me and have only found one thats doable
jennyannikermitdafrog21 I see what you mean about the construction! That's quite sad. :/ I hope they're working to fix the issue. I'm not sure but it looks to me like the newer Rose longline might be better constructed.
Almost a perfect fit. This bra has reduced cups. It is a deep eggplant and vey soft and comfy. This is the first bra I've had where the gore doesn't bother me at all. The band is great and the wires are the perfect width. They are a bit below my imf but it is so slight that it isn't noticeable. The attention to detail, especially the double layer bows are perfect. I just wonder how the fit of this bra compares to the newer models, hopefully very similar as I'm still trying to figure out my Comexim size with alterations. The only small fit issue is that I am lacking a bit of inner fullness, but that may be due to the fact that this bra is used and the original owner might have had more inner fullness than I do.
FWIW, I don't think the gore is reduced on this nor are the straps moved in. I bought this from the original owner and the only customization she told me it had was the reduced cups.
As for fit, this one was super shallow at the wire for me. If you need more wire space most of the current standard plunges (not the low plunges like Ginger and Rita) have better immediate projection.
Oh, thanks for clarifying! I typically need more wire space some was very pleasantly surprised at how well it fit. Thanks again for letting me know u were selling it.
This bra has customizations: reduced gore, reduced cups, and three row of eyes.
Also, it looks different than all the others because I took a seam ripper to it. The lace trim along the top of the cups and the gore bow was really awful. It didn't look that nice on the bra and in my opinion cheapened the whole look. In Comexim's images of this bra, the trim is a little more solid and ribbony. They should have stuck with that. Anyway, I rid this bra of it and replaced it with red bows at the gore and where the straps join the cup. A bigger one I had ...removed from an Ewa Michalak bra a few months ago and smaller ones at the straps that I had in my sewing kit. I think it's nicer now.
So, I was curious to try a Comexim with reduced cups. Sometimes I bubble over my 65G/60H but not enough to go up to a 65H. I figured a 65H with reduced cups may be workable though. Something like a 65G.5 instead of a full cup up. Aside from that, the bra also has my name. Spelling is different, but it's close enough. So, I kind of needed it.
Anyway, the band is really soft and really comfortable. It has a nice gentle stretch to it and I feel secure and well supported on the loosest hook. I could go to the middle, but the end is fine so there I'll stay. I think I like the thicker band and the addition of the extra row. I may order that for myself in the future. The gore tacks and the wires are comfortable. Right around 5", give or take a cm, and that's where I like them. They come up a bit high under the arm. I don't experience any chafing, but I feel it and wish they were lower. The straps are soft and smooth. The adjusters stay in place well. They're not super stretchy, but they are long. I have the adjusters sitting on my traps now and I'll have to shorten the straps at some point. They are not too wide set for me. This is where my broad shoulders are a bonus for me. The high sides would be unbearable if the straps were also too wide, but that's not the case thankfully. The cups fit pretty well. I fill most of it up nicely, but there is some empty space at the top where the strap joins the cup. This is also the case with my 65G - Comexim » Irish Coffee Biustonosz (335). The bra fits well everywhere else and the empty space isn't very evident, with or without a top.
Overall, Jacqueline is a comfortable and appealing bra. I'm happy that I got to try a customized Comexim and got to experiment with a cup up. In the future, I think I prefer the slight smallness of my unaltered 65G/60Hs but I may go for that third row of eyes. Read more 391 more words

hi. im currently trying to find my comexim size. just to compare, what is your underbust measurement? and your overbust standing with bra? overbust leaning without bra?
The calculator gives me a UK size of 28E/F and I wear a 65G or 60H in Comexim, 65F in soft Ewa Michalak, 65E in padded Ewa Michalak. Standing overbust with a bra on isn't a great measurement, but mine is generally around 35, give or take, depending on the bra.
Thanks, PetiteCollegiate I have no idea why they went that way they did with the trim, but I like my version more.
newhere Those Comexim sizes are for the plunges. I haven't tried any of their half cups because they'd be too wide for me. Also, don't use their calculator. It gave me some ridiculous size like 75B or something when I tried it.
what do you mean by "too wide"? because i was thinking of getting a half cup.
The wire width. From tip to tip would be around 5.5" in my size. I need a width of about 5". Otherwise the wires sit on my ribs, do not properly encase my breast tissue, and cause pain.
i just measured my bra. it is about 5.5 -6.25 wire width. and this cup is too small for me. so you'd say i need a bra with a bigger wire width right?
Possibly. It could also be too wide making the cup feel smaller than what it is. A shape incompatibility.
If I were you, I would do a fit check. Do a couple in some different bras. Post your measurements, the bras measurements, and some photos. There are some people here that are really really good at helping with finding your shape and guiding next steps.
This bra looks much better with your alterations! Glad it worked out well enough to keep.
learningaboutbras thanks! It's a little different. Not so round and globe like like my other Comexims. But the shape is still lifted and I actually like that I get the forwardness and the lift without so much cleavage. It'll be a good bra for v-necks in more modest company I think.
I purchased this in Canada from www.braconfidence.ca On the advice of the fitter, I ordered this bra in two sizes to see which would work best. This 30FF was too small. The other size was 30G which fits me very well. Review will follow another time. Sizing on this is in UK only. I also purchased the bottoms in Medium. Comexim bottoms run small and I find the Mediums fit like a Small which was what I wanted and expected. This one is being returned (and I've ordered something else instead ... rel="nofollow">https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> ) as it was too small and I am keeping the 30G instead. Very nice swimsuit. In the right size, it gives a great shape, nice cleavage and is very attractive and supportive suit. I like the detail in between the cups. The metal clip at the back is easy to do up and feels very secure. Finally if you are in Canada, I have been dealing with braconfidence for a while now and highly recommend their great, personal service and excellent fit advice. Its nice to take the guesswork out of Polish sizing. Read more 104 more words
The database says that this bra doesn't fit me but I kinda object. Yes, the band is a little too tight for comfort WITHOUT an extender, and that might ease off within the first few wears and washes... And sure enough, the gore doesn't tack 100% but it's just off by like 5 millimetres. I feel supported in this and the straps aren't terribly wide-set, which is really saying something since I have ridiculously narrow shoulders and every bra so far has tried to saw my arms off. I could do with the straps being placed like 2 cm closer to the neck but that's just a minor ...thing because I really can't say I'm bothered by it.
I asked Comexim to custom-make this for me so the band would have 3 hooks instead of 2. I'm quite pleased with it.
Update 18 april 2014: I have concluded that the cups are about one cup size too small for me, but it's not the worst kind of "too small cups". I don't have double boob and it's not like I can't fit all of my tissue inside the cups, it's just that the nature of this bra allows my breast tissue to escape down the middle and stack "on top". This means that I am not getting the most supportive fit out of this (very supportive still!) and I also get a lot more cleavage than I would in a bigger cup size. I will be keeping this bra because I can deal and it's not the end of the world. Read more 151 more words
Hi! I had heard that you could ask for custom 3 hook bands and would like to do so myself, was there an extra charge for this? Also, do you happen to know how you worded the question in Polish?
Thank you!
There was no extra charge for this change at all! :) I asked katee for help with the translation, just to make sure Google Translate wouldn't fail me, lol. This is what I wrote, my initial message to their e-mail:
"Hi, I am interested in buying the Basic bra. I would like to know if it is possible to replace the 2x3 hook fastener to a 3x3 hook fastener. How much would it cost and how long would it take you to send the bra? Greetings, Jenny.
Witam, jestem zainteresowana zakupem modelu Basic.
If you want a different bra, just raplace "modelu Basic" with "modelu Geisha" for example, just the name of the bra you're interested in :)
Thank you so much! That was awesome of you :) now I just need to pick out which one I want, lol!
They're all gorgeous! :) I hope your first try will go well :)
I can see why everyone loves Comexim bras! This is the third one I've tried and the second that fits. It's a little shallower than I usually need, but it makes up for that with cup height. The result is great lift, without too much projection. It reminds me a lot of Freya Patsy and Kiyoko, but without the spilling over I'd get from them. I don't think my boobs have ever looked this perky before. Ever.
I know a lot of people recommend sizing up for Comexim Half Cups, but I didn't find it necessary with this one. The vertical seams are pretty low profile, and even with the lace cups, it disappears nicely under most of my shirts. It's also very soft and comfy. I kinda never want to take this bra off.
Congrats, Keylime! I'm so happy for you. Comexim rocks!
