When I first receive this I was not that impressed with it. My bra doesn't have the lace on the band and one of the seems had some loose stitches. I also find it looks better on a person then just in a box. I'll asked for an overlapping gore, and it only over laps at the tips. I think I ask for shorter, narrower and overlapping gore next time. The first time I put it on it was gaping like crazy and I thought this is not going to work. Then after S and S and pulling the wires into the right place I was like WOW ...it works. The gore sits slight on my breast but that is what happen when there is no space. Through out the day I noticed it shifting and becoming more gappy. So I bent the wires to match the curve of my ribcage also making the cups deeper and narrower and it now stays in place much better. I actually have cakes on a plate cleavage in this bra which is hard to come by due to being splayed and lack of in fullness. I feel like the cups are compressing me a little but if I went up size the cups would be too tall. I need more immediate depth not more over projection. Comexim 3HC work for narrow, functionally FOB, and shallow tall roots but they are not perfect. My Papillon 3HC I find fits a little better because the padding a little thinner. I need something shaped more like an EM CHP but without the hard, ouchy wires. Read more 161 more words
Sorry this did not have enough immediate projection. I experience the same thing in these half cups. :-(
Please, send a message to Anna at Comexim requesting a more immediately projected half cup. I let her know there are "many of us" who would purchase such a bra. And, if the requests from several of us arrive via email, she may be motivated to help :-) :-)
Yeah all of my overlapping gores only overlap at the tip. That's how you know the alteration was done (in my experience). I had to bend the wires some on mine too. I have shallow tall roots too and so far EM ch/chp are my best match. Problem is it takes too long for custom orders. Your size is more common than mine though, so that may be something to try if you haven't already? I think the bra looks really good on you...but if it doesn't feel right that's what matters. I prefer my cup a little tall and to pad over having quadding, but that's my preference. Plus you don't appear to have the quadding I have in a smaller size.
so far I've tried one CHP and I had to alter the gore to be overlapping in order for it to fit. The gore hurts too much to wear it. I would like to try another one but don't want to spend $50 and have something unwearable. Maybe I'll buy another used one.
I only need slightly more projection at the wire. When I wearing it I feel like my boobs are being pressed flat. When I remove my bra the wires are slight below my IMF. I think the cups are too tall even in this size. when I order more bras from Comexim I definitely plan on emailing Anna to see if I can get more space at the wire and shorter cups.
I ordered this with the straps moved in 2cm and the cups reduced 2cm, I didn't get the gore lowered on this which gives it kind of subtle balconette look which was unintentional, but it works. This bra fits really well, but the band is fairly tight which is odd because I had a 60H Basic and the band wasn't as tight as this although it was used so I'm hopeful this will stretch a bit with time. I do get a slight bit of gaping near the gore, but this seems to be typical for me in any Comexim that is a better fit and ...not on the verge of quadding, but the gaping is extremely minimal and not a fit issue at all.
I did place another Comexim order and decided to get another basic and I'm going to try it with the same alterations but a lowered gore as well. When I did this in the Elena plunge it wasn't the best fit, but I think the Comexims that don't have some sort of trim on top are too open for me anyhow and may need a lot more alteration to work well.
Update: After handwashing it the fabric is less wrinkly. Read more 101 more words
My first Comexim ever https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I think I am going to like this brand, the bra is so comfortable that I don't even feel having it on me. The colours are not my faves, but still I like how it says 'it's lounge time!'
Pros: soft cup with minimal to no compression, gore tacks, perfect for a sleeping bra Cons: band is a tiniest bit to stretchy.
The first bra that ever drew me to Comexim was the Green Velvet, which is (sadly) no longer available. The second bra that drew me in that same way was the Ingrid. Something about me fell hard for the yellowed beige background and how it interacted with the soft, faded colors of the roses. I knew I had to have it, so I bought it--tragically, in a size too small.
Visually, this bra is absolutely stunning. It looks just like the pictures on Comexim's website. I could not be happier with the pattern.
Interestingly, the Ingrid has the same sort of lace border at the top of the cups that ...the Basic has, and the Basic is notorious for cutting in more quickly than other Comexim plunges. The Ingrid, however, does not cut in nearly so quickly as the Basic, or even the Georgia for that matter. It seems to fit true to what Comexim's plunges are supposed to. I think that it has more to do with the way the three-part-cup is constructed than the lace at the top.
The cups are gently firm and hold my breasts in place, even though I'm quadding a little, especially on my larger breast, due to the size issue. They lift my breasts very nicely. The cups are delightfully narrow and the gore equally so. The straps don't dare go near my armpits, laying comfortably right where I need them. This is an incredibly comfy bra to wear (minus the size-related quadboob).
There's a slight fabric ripple at the gore which I thought at first was part of the design, but when I received my new Ingrid in 65HH I realized that it wasn't there. It doesn't take anything away from the aesthetic for me, though.
Of the bras I've tried the Ingrid seems to be the most secure (tall) in terms of wing height, so if that's something you need, the Ingrid's a good choice. It's not tall enough to stab (or close enough to armpits) so I didn't even notice it until I measured my two Ingrids.
Absolutely gorgeous bra, super comfy, wish I had a million (in the right size). Five stars. Read more 249 more words
The good: The band fits wonderfully and for the first time in a long while or possibly ever, the wires are actually a fantastic fit. I've been having issues with wire width, and this was the first bra that encased my breasts properly. So the band and the wires fit fantastically.
The not so good. I fill out the lower 2/3-3/4 of the bra and then it gapes badly. I'm not sure if this is from shape issue and not having enough upper pole fullness or if it's from the fact any type of measurements I do seems grossly over estimates my size, and I'm actually much smaller than ...what I measure. Also the cups are really tall too, which is kind of a bummer; but this isn't something that surprises me since I am extremely petite.
I absolutely love the color and feel of the bra; it's so soft and comfortable! I am feeling confident that this brand as well as any other bra with similarly narrow cups is the way for me to go. I just need to pin my cup size down better! Read more 76 more words
This bra has a single vertical seam plus a horizontal seam across the top, similar to Comexim's plunge bras. The top portion is made of a thicker black lace. It does not feel like stretch lace to me personally and unfortunately it does not lie smooth on my smaller boob (some definite wrinkling is happening).
While I found this on the half cup section of Comexim's website, please be aware it does not fit and is not constructed like a 3HC. This bra is more projected than the 3HC's I've tried, which is a good thing for me.
Personally I love the appearance it gives and overall this bra is a great fit for me, I think I just need to throw a cookie in to the smaller boob's cup and I'll be set. My biggest complaint is that there is a rough, stiff edge on the top of the gore, which digs in. I think this is maybe an error in production though.
I purposely bought this only one cup size over my normal size to create more cleavage, per Breakout Bras's advice. And, it certainly delivers. The gore does float a little but there is no quadding (just BARELY).
The dots are cute but they do show through your shirt, as well as the detailing on the top edge of the cups.
The interior of the cups is made up of a light foam, which is almost memory-like.
I'm very close-set, center-full, fuller on bottom, tall-ish roots, and average to wide roots.
Looks really nice and cleavage-y on, with a nice rounded but natural shape. It's slightly shallower than what I should be wearing so it's slightly minimizing. Almost but not quite overflowing on the bigger side. No wrinkling or gaps anywhere in the cups. The wing and side of cup is shorter than I'd like and I would prefer a 3-hook instead of a 2-hook for more support all around, also the narrow band at closure digs into my band a bit. The gore tacks perfectly and is a nice height and narrow width for my ...close set girls.
I would get this style again but modified with a 3-hook closure and maybe slightly higher wing height.
Color is more striking in person than I thought it would be. It's a beautiful creamy nude contrasted with cute boobylicious black pattern and straps that really just pop, making it a very fun cool, fresh design that works even on my pale yellow-beige skin. The fabric is soft, silk-satiny and comfy. I love it. Read more 74 more words
Even prettier in reality than in the photos on the website, the fabric is quite soft and not scratchy - non of that scratchy netting-like fabric which 65G - Comexim » Ingrid Plunge Bra (289) and 65G - Comexim » Elena Half Cup (312) had on the outside (which scared me of from Comexim for a good while). Lightly padded - just the way I like it! Best fitting and most comfortable bra I've tried so far, Still not 100% though! (my ribcage is straighter than what this bra is made for - same with every other bra I've tried)
Came with a few loose threads and a small gray mark on the inside of a left cup, which made me put the quality as good instead of excellent.
I was really, really nervous ordering this bra because I'm nowhere near an H cup in any other brand. If I'd followed Comexim's sizing chart I would've ended up with a bra way too small, so THANK YOU Bratabase for measurements!!
The bra fits me beautifully. I love the pretty green flower pattern, and the stitching on the cups is rather flat, so it isn't visible under most of my thin shirts. It gives a nice rounded shape and decent lift.
The fabric was very stiff when I first received it, but after only a couple wears it's already softening up quite a bit. I expect it will be very soft and comfy after a couple washes.
Yeah Comexim uses EU cup lettering and grading, with no double letters, so your “H” is really a UK “F” and since they only scale up 2cm per cup instead of 1” often times you need to size up yet again in their bras. So I’d guess your UK size to be around a 30E or 30F. You’d think Comexim, a brand that peddles a wide range of sizes made for fuller busts with a need for narrow wires and projection, and accurately manufactures such bras, would at least have a proper size chart online.
Yeah, I wear a UK 30E. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has a problem with their size chart.
Same as with the Beauty, I probably should have sized up to 65HH for this one, especially for my larger size, but this bra is so comfortable I don't mind!
This one fits definietly better than 65G. First of all its really pretty! The brown base with cream lace on top makes it quite sexy. Also combination with salmon ribbons fits well. As it is previously used bra, the band 65 its bit stretched and fits me great with my 72cm underbust, however it is still snug. The wires are narrower than in 65g o_o, and they feel good, comfy after full day of wear. The strap placement is not bad, feels better than some other comexims that I own. Also the straps are fully adjstable and very comfy. The cups.. this is the main problem. Same as is 65G I get cutting in my boobs because of this ribbon that makes the bra too closed. I dont have any other comexim with this ribbon on top, but all in 70f fits me well including 65G - Comexim » Mascotte . Really pretty bra and comfy, passed the test for 90% as by the end of the day I had to adjust it a little.
Yoko is gorgeous and does give great cleavage. Unfortunately the cups and straps are a bit too wide for me. Even with the straps tightened a lot it gapes a bit at the top. Although it doesn't seem as shallow as other 2HCs I've tried.
Iris is a discontinued standard plunge from 2012. The stock images make it look like it's bright purple. It isn't, it's pretty dark and it's a true purple. It's a lace overlay with a basic beige backing. There is a silvery blue design sewn into the lace. It's along the top of the cups and the bottom of the band. There are double bows to complement the bra, dark purple on top of silver. A big one at the gore (not Ewa big) and smaller ones at the straps. My specific Iris has straps and a 2x3 clasp made up of a burgundy elastic. It doesn't match the ...bra, but it doesn't really clash with it either.
The band is very stretchy and easily stretched to 31". I've sewn through the elastic bringing the stretched measurement about 28"-29" so I can wear it on the loosest hooks. The straps are a good length and width. They are slightly wide set for me. They adjust easily and don't slide around. The cups have been reduced (and excluded from measurement averages). The wires are a comfortable width. They come up a little high for me on the sides. The bottom of the cup is incredibly shallow. I find all Comexim plunges to lack enough immediate projection, but this is one of the shallowest ones I have, even though it is a cup volume larger than I usually wear. I do push it down because the band is not tight enough to keep the wires up (like 65G - Comexim » Juliette (237), which is also shallow but a 26" band). Comexim uses very soft wires so it doesn't hurt when the wires rest on my ribs, but it's not the most comfortable.
The underwear are M and pretty TTS. They're comfortable and don't ride up.
I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this set yet or not. It's quite pretty, but all of my bras are pretty, and it's really not a great fit for me. Read more 225 more words
This set is absolutely gorgeous and absolutely too big for me. It's very soft and quite high quality. The fabric is the type that accommodates quite a bit of stretch but does not feel loose. It's a lovely set and I'm really bummed it doesn't fit me. It's been discontinued for some time, and my chances of finding my size is pretty much zero.
EDIT: I've come to realize this bra is too wide by maybe 3/4 of an inch and the bottom is definitely too shallow. I still love this bra despite it's less than perfect fit.
This bra is an odd fit, and I am slightly disappointed. I can fill the cups pretty well, but I get a weird wrinkle down at the bottom which I tried to capture a photo of. It was really bad at first but I was able to minimize it by tightening the straps a lot and it is not noticeable under clothes. The straps are VERY wide set and I have to angle them in ...slightly. If I order another Comexim the straps will have to be moved in. The band is rather firm at only 29 inches. I have issues doing it up and I definitely don't want it any tighter than this. There are 3 rows and 4 columns. I had originally requested a 2 by 4 set of hook and eyes because I think I didn't need the support of 3 however this is not an issue. The wings are low enough to stay out of my armpit so even though the straps are wide set there's not too much armpit harassment going on. The gore, surprisingly, is not a hard tack like all the other bras I have. It soft tacks but it does not feel like this is compromising support. The wires are perfect. They encase my breast tissue perfectly and don't poke under my arms. It doesn't give a round shape like I was expecting but instead a more of an upside down 7 shape. I wasn't the biggest fan of this at first, but it's starting to grow on me. It looks AMAZING under clothes although I'm realizing that I like that vintagey perky-almost-pointy look. The cups seem shallow at only 9.25 inches but I'm not sure if this is just a thing that half cups do. It doesn't contain all my breast, or doesn't appear to. As you can see in the photos, I get bulges on the side. I'm not entirely sure what they are. I can scoop them in, but they don't stay contained. Appearance wise, it's okay. I'm honestly not sure why I ordered this particular bra. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty, but not my cup of tea. I wish I had ordered something lacy instead. The quality is okay, there's a few loose threads. Will this be my first Comexim? Probably not, especially if I can figure out these minor nit-picky things. I think the size is spot on, especially if I find a deeper style. The bra is super comfortable, and I'm overall very pleased with it, minus the wrinkle at the bottom and the wide set straps. I will be keeping this bra. Read more 363 more words
Awww :( I'm sorry this one didn't work out perfectly for you! I get the little wrinkle at the bottom of the cup too, but I get that in basically all Comexim because of their lack of immediate projection. To me it looks like you may want to go up a cup size. I get a sort of square shape from this one, because of the lack of 2 seams. I still love it, but you may find that a double seamed half cup works better for you.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll go up a cup size on my next order and see if that helps. I'd send this one back and try again but I'm leaving the country soon and don't have the time, plus I consider this a pretty acceptable fit. Not perfect, but totally wearable. But next time I'll try a cup up and a 2 seamed half cup. :)
Are you sending tis bra back? I would gladly swap for it <3
I think I'm gonna be holding on to this one for now. It's pretty comfy and a surprisingly good fit despite the flaws. I lasted all day in it with no issues. If you get a chance to try one I highly suggest it.
I get some gaping in this, I think it may be a bit more open on top than other Comexims. I have a few other Comexims in 65H and I don't get gaping in those at all. I did request reduced cups and gore, but I'm not for sure if the alterations were done. Other than the slight bit of gaping, it seems to be a pretty good fit.
ordered this in 65G. just waiting for mine to arrive. looks prettier on you than the picture on your website. im just curious, what are your measurements? underbust and overbust bending over.
I love the look of this bra, it looks even prettier in person. However the underwires kind of float. The band seems to run a bit big compared to other 65 bands from Comexim.
This bra is gorgeous, but I'm not sure about it. Nothing about the fit seems horribly off, but it is a very east/west look. I think this could be caused by the cups being a bit too wide. If it wasn't for the east/west look I would probably keep it because while the wires are a bit wide, they aren't uncomfortable.
I love this bra it is so beautiful. I got it from another Bratabase user and was still a bit questionable of trying the 65H even though all the numbers seemed to match up. I know everyone says not to use Comexim's size chart, but when the cup size is 4 sizes larger and 2 band sizes smaller than what Comexim suggests it's really confusing.
When I opened the package and got it out, I saw the band and I thought for sure it was going to be way to small, but the cups didn't look too big. I tried it on fully expecting ...to need my extender. I was shocked the band is a perfect fit, no extender needed. This bra is amazing, it's pretty and comfortable. This is probably the most comfortable bra I've ever tried on. I've only tried it on, and haven't worn it for a full day yet, but usually I notice discomfort fairly fast.
On a side note this and the Ewa Michalak Chp Marcepanowa Magnolia are my first attempts at Polish bras thanks LoisVain
Update, the band is a bit on the tight side. I feel like I don't get quite the amount of cleavage I would like, but a cup size down would definitely be too small. I'm thinking reduced cups and a lower gore might be the trick. Read more 132 more words
