Okay, I'm trying to catch up on my bra reviews! IMO, this was the perfect summer padded plunge *for me* (for my shape!) If this bra review looks like Deja vu, well, it was previously reviewed one cup size smaller (70H) https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dn96t/ I will try to add a few more interesting details.
#1. Some other reviews say - this is a very light fabric, or a lighter bra. I agree that it is (compared to some of my other Comexims!), but the price is lower and also: it works well as a summer plunge that way because the materials used are not that heavy.
I kept ...reaching for this bra so many times this summer (which was hotter weather than usual!), and this was definitely the padded bra I wore the most. So, if anyone lives in a warm climate, and you like the colours of this bra, I recommend this bra for a comfortable lightly padded bra in warmer weather (if you have a shape similar to mine).
#2. Despite the fact that the materials used are a bit lighter, the fit is the same, only I noticed that I did not have gaping on my smaller side (which I usually do with Comexim padded bras b/c I'm not perfectly even, and I fit to my larger breast). I surmise the white padding is maybe a little lighter? hence the cost? But I truly can't tell. I'm comparing it to my other bras, and the padding is a different colour, but seems about the same as far as thickness. (maybe a little lighter, but it's hard to tell.)
My stats: projected, FOB, center-full, narrow roots & close-set breasts. My root height is average, although when I gain weight, it seems like I gain it on the top of my boobs. I find that Polish bras work best for my shape, esp b/c I have narrow roots and close-set breasts; I can not wear bras with wide gores, and I don't like the excess space that comes with the wide underwires in some UK brands - it's just empty space on me. I will probably pack this bra away for next summer though - I want to keep it in great shape. It was well worth the money. I wore it a lot and it's still like new.
The price was $125 zloty + $22 zloty on Comexim.pl, the shipping took about 3 weeks to Canada. I initially determined my Comexim size from comparing data on bratabase. Read more 309 more words
Such a pretty bra! The way it fits the smaller and larger size is amazing, looks perfect on you! Such a bra win!
MeeM_13 , thank u!! I got tons of wear out of it this summer : ) well worth it : )
Your shape and size seems very close to mine! Thanks for sharing, I'm hoping to snag some more polish bras on here and upload/trade some of my other bras I have tried on. Looks like a great bra on you :)
meganelaineshaw1 , thank you, I love it : ) I'm really into colour as well - and finding the best colours for my skin tone, so this minty colour works well for me : ) Plus, I think it's almost like "cooling" with the light green. lol. which works well for summer : ) comexim is def one of my fav brands.
Looks perfect on you! I agree that colour suits you well.
thank you, margesimpson : )
Sooo pretty and the price is great! Congrats on the find!
This looks great on you!!
kate166 and Calluna , thanks so much!! I heart the colour!
I got this bra about 2 months ago, as a birthday present to myself, lol, but have not gotten around to reviewing it. Which is good b/c I have multi-purposes for it now. Spoiler: I actually wear this bra to go JOGGING - not training for a marathon or anything, but just light jogging. And it keeps the girls in place, as any well-fitting sports bra does. Are these bras versatile, or what?
I first saw this bra from u/Sonya's profile pic and I knew that I had to have it! But then I learned that it's probably not the best colour for my skin tone, as it ...has WARM tones, and my skin is cool-toned, with lots of pink. So, if you're an Autumn (https://www.colormebeautiful.com/seasons/findyourseason.html), this would be a great colour for you - but it's also one of those "bridesmaid dress" colours - it doesn't look terrible on anyone. It does have a lot of warm tones, and it does evoke feelings of crisp autumn nights w/warm hot chocolate. The inside lining and the straps are dark brown, and there is an attractive middle ribbon with two shades of brown to tie the design together.
I love the construction on this bra!! The fit on the side is *perfect* for my narrow roots and close-set breasts; you can see in this picture https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dmarj/ with the arrows. The wings are just tall enough where they tuck in my back fat; the wire length is good for me as well. I would say I have average root height.
I'm not sure when exactly I decided to try out light jogging in this bra: I was probably walking and thought, "I should try jogging in this bra." I've kind of sized out of my current sports bra, and this one is so easy to put on. So, I've actually found that this bra works fine for light jogging; I might try adding something called the "boob buddy" but it's currently out of stock. I'm getting my use out of this bra though! It's made from such firm material - that's the fun with Comexim, each of the fabrics are different. Sometimes I still wear it as a normal bra as well.
TL; DR, This bra has an amazing fit and construction but I've sacrificed it to be sometimes a jogging bra (light jogging only!); this bra would look amazing if you have some warm skin tones, which I do not have. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful bra! Hashtag, #ThanksComexim!! Read more 313 more words
I’ve never thought about wearing my bras as a sports bra, mind is blown lol. It makes perfect sense tho. The power of a well fitting bra that plays many rolls, what a win.
I love this bra. I’m super sad about my 70H being too big since I have lost quite a bit of weight this year, and it was already borderline big with the alterations. I’m really trying to figure out what size I need to reorder it in now (I'm trying some other Comexims now in smaller sizes to help before I order directly from Comexim).
Calluna , thank u, this bra is excellent construction! I love how Comexim does their designs 360 degrees, and I definitely think they build their bras to last! If you have some warm tones to your skin, this would look stunning on you; congrats on the weight loss!
Yeah I’m a bit warmer toned, I think. I think it’s a good match for me. Here’s the fit from last December when I was around 135 pounds.
I’m about 117 now. But I have not actively tried to lose weight. It’s been a combination of things, including some health issues. I wish my boobs had not also shrunk.
It's too bad that [society dictates] that I have to put a shirt over this! Lol. It's so pretty!
I was so pleasantly surprised by this bra - I didn't think I could wear it until Fall/Winter, I thought it would be too hot. What was I thinking? It's totally summer-wearable.
I put it on yesterday, and gave it a trial run. I did not want to take this bra off!! I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but THIS BRA IS SO COMFORTABLE!!
So, this would be my #1 Comfortable bra right now, granted I am little bit between sizes (I know I ...said that about the Comexim Arizona, but I hadn't given this one a trail run) despite the fact that it has thicker padding (the same thickness as the Comexim basic has), which made me think that I couldn't wear it until Fall.
So now I'm thinking re: the Comexim Basic plunge, maybe it does run .5 - 1 cup small, as the Charme cups fit me the most comfortably right now. (disclaimer: it's for sure the same pattern, I believe it's just the way the materials are).
Also, regarding it's value, this is alllllll that I want in a bra: Comexim Charme is both *supportive* and comfortable - I don't know how they do it!
Living in Canada, sometimes our bras are more expensive than in the US. For example, a local boutique sells Prima donna brand for $170-180 to $200 per bra (including tax). That's not on sale, but...you get the picture.
I was thinking yesterday when I was wearing this bra: I don't see how a $200 bra could be any better. Finding a good bra like this really improves your day! And I've only learned that recently!!
The only alteration that I might request the next time is to move the straps in 2cm. I'm thinking that might improve the mild gaping I have on my smaller side (right side), which I do not even notice when I'm wearing the bra. My shirt will cover over it, and it's not a big deal.
I know I'm going to write this, and then there might be some people who can't find a good bra - due to uncommon sizing, or figuring out alterations, etc - I'm sorry : ( : ((((cyber hug from Canada))))
150zloty, so that's $39.18 usd (plus $5.75 shipping). I believe they traditionally have a Black Friday sale, 20% off, so save your pennies people! Definitely this bra is worth it. I could not wait for black Friday, because I needed some bras now : ) Read more 331 more words
That is super cute! I love the detail on the top of the cup. It looks perfect on you!
thank you, Happy2BraShop . I actually look a little bit pale in black (like you can kind of see how pale it makes me look on my sports bra review), and was hoping Charme would read more gray. However, because of the black lining, it does read more black, but that's okay. It's still beautiful, it's not *the best* colour on my skin, but still beautiful : )
I mean, I own something crazy like 11 gray sweaters (last time I checked). I also wear a lot of neutrals. Most of my wardrobe is neutrals, lol.
BraOdyssey Haha majority of my clothes are gray. I’ve been branching out and getting tee shirts in actual colors recently. Black looks harsh on me. Definitely not my best color. I’m a gray, gray-blue, navy, jade or sea foam green, mauve, kind of gal lol. I think I’m a Classic muted Summer complexion. If I ever find a sea foam green bra, oh it’s on.
Looks great on you! Congrats on another Comexim win! I’ve read other very positive reviews of the charme, hmm I may consider trying this one!
Just looking at other pictures of the charme, it looks like they changed/simplified the design, interesting
Happy2BraShop , hmm, that's interesting. I can't remember what summer that I am...I might be a soft summer, too. I'm not a light summer, as I don't have blonde hair. But I have hazel eyes, the same as Steve Carell from the Office, basically. And medium brown hair. It might look dark brown in the pictures, but it's really just medium.
The sea foam green is kind of why I like 70HH - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) but I don't think this is really your aesthetic (*kind of floral) a little old-fashioned maybe.
This conversation reminds me of this Robin Egg Blue bra I saw ("the Pru" I think it's called) on Little Cup Big Cup Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhguuuynFSh/ Not sure if this bra really has projection, it doesn't look like the best fit on her.
margesimpson , thank u!! The fit might be *perfect* if I requested 2 cm move-in of the straps.
From what I can tell, I think it's still the same design. It just looks so different in low light. This girl got a way bigger bow than me, lol. https://www.bratabase.com/picture/dn9rr/
margesimpson , now that I look at it - I guess I got sort of *the end* of the flowery lace (on the top of the cup) But my flowers are not perfectly centered...that's okay I still love it.
BraOdyssey i think it’s that they used less lace? I actually like yours better :)
I'm so happy for you, borderline jealous :') but even if some of don't have a perfect fit bra like this, we're definitely gonna be happy for people who do have a bra like this! Also, it does look comfy and pretty on you!
thank you, MeeM_13 . The funny thing is, two of the plunges I got (I ordered 3 in total) Arizona & Pearl Mint Plunge - do not gape on my smaller side. Hmm.
they both have the thinner padding. They also were less expensive than Charme (the bra above).
So, when I do the next review, I'm going to mention how the two different types of padding (thinner and thicker) fit differently.
I probably could have gone with 2 cm straps moved in for this size...but if my weight changes again, it will be different, LOL >
BraOdyssey huh, very interesting! I did not know they had two different thicknesses when it came to their padded bras! Can't wait to read the next reviews.
BraOdyssey huh, very interesting! I did not know they had two different thicknesses when it came to their padded bras! Can't wait to read the next reviews.
I first purchased this bra in a 65J (30GG). Review here: http://bra.pe/X2LR/ Unfortunately this 65J ran big in the cup compared to the moulded cup bras.
Winner winner chicken dinner. So I originally tried this in the 65J, so this 70HH (32G) would be the sister size to the original. In the past I had good luck with a sister size due to the proportion fitting better in the cup. Well this was a good sister size transition. The band fits on the tightest set of hooks and I’m willing to have the band taken in when it relaxes since I really do need a 65. ...The cups on this bra are about half an inch smaller at the armpit compacted to the 65J, making it less wide set so it doesn’t eat my armpits like it’s evil sister. I’m happy I gave it a second go for a better fit.
Panties: In the past I purchased a size Medium in Comexim panties. But for this the only size available was a size Large. I’m glad I went with it. The panties are a lower cut, so the large doesn’t cut into my body and lays flat under clothing. The front panel consists of the same print as the bra with matching lace on the hip panels. The back of the panties are the same silky fabric but in white. The elastic on the panties is white and there is a white cotton gusset in the crotch. Read more 140 more words
This looks like a very nice spring/summer bra! I love Comexim, but there can be some back and forth getting the sizing right?
BraOdyssey This is definitely a light weight Spring/Summer bra. I also love Comexim, but the inconsistency keeps me away sometimes. It’s really a crapshoot with the sizing. You can get two of the same bra and they can be made totally different. But when you find one that fits, it’s like striking gold.
Happy2BraShop , girl that is the best strategy ever!! I am 100% doing that the next time I order from Bob (ordering two sizes in Comexim to compare)..I wish I had done that with my last order, but I didn't think of it. It takes too long to get bras back and forth since I'm in Canada. Next time, I will do this for sure, I loved this bra but I needed a size up to compare. https://www.bratabase.com/bra/dnge4/
This looks great on you! I'm glad the sister size works better. Those bottoms looks so comfortable too! If you're willing to share, what are your hips at the widest? I think I'm between M and L in some cuts for Comexim bottoms.
Wilderness1 They are actually the most comfortable Comexim panties I’ve gotten yet. Right now my hips/butt at the widest are 40 inches, I put the panties on and right around where the waistband is, I measure 36 inches. If I run the measuring tape from the middle of the back, down between my legs and up the front, the panties measure 20 inches.
BraOdyssey That one is so pretty! I love any bras that have gray on them. Especially straps. I wear a lot of gray tops lol.
Are these still available somewhere in that size range or did you order it a while ago? I was interested in this model and didn't move on buying it fast enough and it seems like Breakout Bras doesn't have much left in terms for 70/32 bands.
Is it available on Comexim.pl? It might just be the nursing one available on the Comexim website - I think this was breakout bras exclusive.
I don't know if they're discontinuing this model (sorry, I'm kind of answering for Happy2BraShop) but I noticed about a month ago - they seemed to get low in stock on this bra, and then they replenished.
aquilegia , BraOdyssey said it perfectly. I just got this one in the mail yesterday from Breakout Bras, but Comexim’s website has it for sale as “Sweet Flower Nursing” I believe. Definitely ask Breakout Bras if they can obtain one for you. If not, I’m sure Comexim can always be asked if they can make a non nursing version of the bra for you.
Happy2BraShop thanks for that reference on sizing! Very helpful!
I like this bra, and I bought two more of the same colour/same size! I guess I am a boring person like that (looks at Sonya's colourful bra collection...), but I got to have something to keep the girls covered! I thought about ordering the Megan Plunge, https://www.bratabase.com/browse/comexim/megan-plunge-653/, just to have this same style in a different colour, but then I also read that their black bras can run tight?? and I didn't want to risk it not fitting, when I really need a few good-fitting bras a.t.m.
My shape: FOB, projected, both narrow roots with average root height, centre-full.
Some thoughts on ...this bra: since I live in Canada, I'm thinking this bra will do well as a 3-season bra - fall, winter, spring. Since it is a padded bra, I'm thinking I might want something lighter for the summertime, but if I lived in a hot climate, this might only work as a winter bra...not sure. I did live in California for nine years (the central valley) and I probably wouldn't wear this type of bra in the 100F+ summer weather, I just would sweat too much.
As soon as I tried on this bra, I was like, "I will take two," it fits that well, lol. Of course, I'm comparing to the poorly fitting 32DD/34DD bras from V.S. that I was stuffing myself into before I discovered by ABTF size, sooo...this is obviously much better.
There is a handy dandy app now, created by Reddit users u/mathandplants, u/EuphoricToe1, and u/winsbe01, that helps one convert her UK size ---->Comexim size, or her UK size ------> Comexim bra size when ordering from Breakout Bras (if that makes sense...if any ? ask below) Here is a link to that app http://comeximcalc.herokuapp.com/
Of note: on the Breakout Bras website, they recommend "sizing up" 1 or 2 cup sizes. According to ABTF mods, this is a bit simplified; depending on what one's cup size is, she should size up 1,2,3, or even 4 cups sizes. Honestly, now that the app has been invented-- as long as one has determined her accurate UK bra size--I think it's better to use the app as a starting point, and she shouldn't be that far off for Comexim sizing. Those are my thoughts on sizing!!
It can be confusing when ordering Comexim bras from Breakout Bras since they use different labels.
I find this bra to be very comfortable and supportive, I like what it does to my posture. Furthermore, the colour works well as nude, and it doesn't show through any of my clothing, even a very thin shirt. At first I thought it was a little itchy, but it doesn't really bother me anymore. At this price point, I have very few complaints about this bra; I recommend it for people who are a similar shape/size as me.
disclaimer: from my opening paragraph, I'm not saying this bra is boring in any way. It has a simple aesthetic that I enjoy. It's understated. Plus, it works for me b/c I wear a lot of thin shirts (in Canada, yes...the heat is always pumping), and this bra doesn't show through colour or texture: in my opinion, it's a good workhorse bra. I think this also doubles a T-shirt bra for me. Read more 442 more words
Your jokes crack me up “I guess I’m a boring person” lol. Not boring, we all have our preferences and what works for us! Glad this worked out for you. I think you’re assessment is accurate that you’re likely not as FOB/short rooted as you thought if this works for you. Yay comexim win!
margesimpson , ha ha, idk (re: short roots vs. average roots). Maybe I should post it as a fit question...I feel like I have a bit of chest b4 my breasts start, but I wonder this plunge style just lifts my boobs up so much that it kind of fills out the top part.
Even just a few years ago, I think I was more FOT, but then I kinda lost some weight, so I'm definitely more FOB, not that you asked (I feel like I have to add that disclaimer every time ; )
BraOdyssey I should use that disclaimer too cause you didn’t ask my opinion but I gave it anyway lol I’m no expert, so I should probably stay quiet lol
margesimpson , no worries!! your opinion is always appreciated by me!
I was hoping the third time would be the charm, but I was wrong https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I ordered this custom Victoria with the following alterations: 3HC instead of 2HC; overlapping gore; 3x4 hook closure; straps moved in 2cm; cookie pockets; no eyelash lace. Sadly, the 3HC cut from Comexim is a shape mismatch for me. The 70HH had the right volume at the apex, but the band was too loose and the wires were at least 1/2 inch too wide. Sigh. This was the third Victoria I ordered from Comexim. There's a full review on my blog comparing my fit problems with all 3.
This is my Comexim set Black Friday sale that arrived yesterday, who hoo!
Unfortunately, I have gained weight and it's just a *smidge* too small on my larger side - I know it probably looks like it fits. The fit on my smaller side is perfect though. The same with the matching panties, they fit, but would fit better if I lost 10 or 15 pds, lol. I think their size chart for underwear is pretty accurate.
So these are the differences I can think of between padded plunges and Karen (unpadded plunge):
Unlike many balconette bras, Karen has a 4-part cup; 3 parts on the bottom of ...the cup, and one part horizontal across the top. I think this makes the bra rounder on the bottom, instead of a pointer shape.
The bra is double-lined, even across the lace; also the wings of the bra are double-lined. Not all bra manufacturers do this #ComeximQuality This is why these Comexim bras last so long!
The top of cup is lined with an elastic - perfectly fine for my shape (FOB), but like the other review said-- if one is FOT, I'm wondering if that elastic edge would cut in a bit.
Interestingly, the shoulder straps are unlike any other Polish bra I've tried; they really stay in towards the center of one's body! Completely different from Ewa Michalak BM bras, which tend to go a little wide with the shoulder straps.
There isn't as much immediate projection as with an Ewa Michalak BM bra, it works okay for me (there's a little bit of space in between the underwire & my boob) but I guess one can always request "added depth at the wire."
I think it actually runs large in the cup compared to a padded plunge in the same size; I would say probably size down. The gore is really narrow on this bra, too. about me: FOB, narrow roots and projected shape, center full. average root height.
I think this is also a petite-friendly (or short breast root friendly. or high-set breast friendly) style, because like a typical Comexim, the underwires don't go very high towards the armpits, like some brands do.
If one has a lot of breast tissue on the side, I don't think this would be a good style for them (maybe a brand like Elomi would be better?) because this is a good style for someone with narrow boobs/close-set breasts.
the fabric itself is a navy blue leaves print, with grey lace, 3 grey bows, and dark navy elastic for the shoulder straps, and dark navy wings. Read more 323 more words
I don't know where to start, this is such a bra win - Happy2BraShop, I think you gave me some of your bra shopping magic with your comment last Saturday on your cross back bra!
I'm FOB, projected, I have some soft tissue (so I will "fill up" whatever cup shape it is - to an extent. I'm not totally fighting against every cup shape, if that makes sense), I have narrow roots, but when I gain weight, it's like I get fat *all around my boobs* on top, and on the side. (Tbh, I notice it particularly on top. like I almost have tall ...roots, but I don't) Which makes me have to go up in cup size obviously.
I'm close-set and that limits the styles I can try. The gore on this bra looks like it pushes my left breast (larger breast) a little, but I'm okay with it. I actually don't feel uncomfortable at all.
I also don't like a hard underwire, but I find Polish bras to have softer wires, and I've also found styles that accommodate my close-set breasts in Polish bras. Plus, I really love the design creativity in the Polish brands.
Okay, I actually do notice a big difference with the cross back, as far as comfort level. That being said I also have an upper body injury right now, so maybe for a normal person, it wouldn't matter as far as strap placement. But this strap placement really helps my shoulder issue, and I'm thinking of trying to alter my Pearl Flower Mint Plunge Bra (390) bra so it's like this.
Anyway, such a bra win. I literally want to order 2 more of these, because it was only $30 usd (& shipping) on sale.
This is something to consider in the profile though - it is a bit more pointy than my other padded plunges. I surmise it's because of the cross-back strap placement. I am so comfy though, I do not care!
If a person was just trying to get in to Comexim would I recommend this style? well, it's just basically the same as their other padded plunge; the cup is being pulled from a slightly different angle with the cross-back, and I do think it creates a bit more gaping on my smaller side. Not enough to be a deal breaker though.
Of note: you can still wear this bra the regular way. The straps are removable on both ends. You could even wear this as a strapless bra: that wouldn't work for me...well, it would depend on the outfit. If I just wanted nipple concealment, a thin padded layer, and the top or dress was form fitted enough to my body, I surmise this would work. It would totally depend on the outfit though.
As far as colours, I was hesitant to order b/c black and red aren't really my colour. However, I actually find this bra to be SO SLIMMING!! and that's another reason why I consider it a bra win. I'm kind of a fan of darker bras now. I surmise it's a combination of the black colour and the direction of the stripes?? Idk. I find it to be flattering.
Overall, 10/10/10 for beauty/comfort/function! For $30usd, who could beat it? Plus, you're buying from a women-owned company. I got this from Comexim.pl, but if your in the US/Canada, you can get some styles on BreakoutBras.com. Read more 469 more words
I considered getting this bra, this review is really helpful! Did you get any alternations on it? I want to try another Comexim but I would need alterations so I haven't taken the time to figure that out yet.
Heck yeah, bra win! Gotta love it. Wonder if this is something you can ask them to do to future bras you order? That would be a really cool option.
WildWolff , I have not requested any alterations from Comexim yet. With this style - I would not need to request "straps moved it" because the straps are already crossed like this. But I know that's a common alteration request, and I'm kind of curious how it would affect the fit on my other Comexim plunges (if that makes sense. lol).
Happy2BraShop , yes! I was thinking the same thing...that possibly I could request this strap placement on some of their other bras.
If I was going to wear a bra *just* as a cross back, I would prefer it to be attached in the back, and just removable in the front (so I didn't have to struggle to get the bra on awkwardly, lol) As they are in this style - which I had no idea this bra came this way - the straps are totally removable.
which is fine, but sometimes when I'm putting on the bra on, I have to be careful not to accidentally swing the straps off. I have to dress/adjust carefully!
WildWolff , this wasn't colours that I normally go for, but I'm okay with it - it's very slimming!
BraOdyssey I like that the straps are adjustable and come off. Even if it wouldn't work as a strapless it might be nice to use different colored or clear straps for different outfits. I haven't gotten any alterations from Comexim but I need a super low gore so I'm considering it. I usually move straps it on my own but I wouldn't do more complex alterations, I don't trust myself
you should totally try some alterations with Comexim then! It sounds like you already know what to request/what alterations will work for you!
BraOdyssey I've recently been dealing with some tissue migration/growth so I'm waiting for that to stop before I order new bras. Then I'll have to figure out my Comexim size again and then I'll order. I'll need to find someone with experience ordering a lowered gore because I need it to be very low. I have no tissue separation at all. And soft tissue so my boobs both need and hate plunge bras lol
I feel like Comexim plunge bras in my size are not really *that plungey* tbh...but I think in the larger cup sizes they get to be "more plungey" ....at least that's what I've read. This gore is totally doable for me, but before I started wearing Polish bras, I was wearing Victoria's secret bras, and those are all low gore.
BraOdyssey I've tried several of the plunges and they're not that plungey. The first one I got was from braswap and I thought that I must have just misread the post or it was listed wrong because the gore was so high. But then I realized it's common for comexim plunges. I was also wearing VS for years before I found polish bras. I didn't even realize I was so close set until this year. And all the prettiest bras I see and want always have the highest gores!
That bra fits so well on you, I'm kinda jealous! Its such a lovely pattern and the straps being removable and repositionable is great, makes it very versatile. I'm so glad you found yourself such a great bra fit! And the price makes it even sweeter.
I wish I had that much space between my boobs for the wires to fit like that (instead of being close, then splaying, they stay the same closeness their full height). The Polish bras I've tried really can't be called plunges with how high the gore is in the cup size I'd need for my short roots/high set boobs. I so miss being smaller when the gores weren't higher than 2", most closer to 1". I wish that the weight gain had given me a longer torso, but no that's not how that work is it? Just shoved it all into forward projection as if I didn't have enough already.
The straps being crossed over changing the cup shape to be a bit pointier (I guess maybe a bit more projected?) is interesting to me as perhaps I could do that to bras I get just to sneak a bit more projection in. I need more of the volume closer to the middle as it is, so I suppose having the straps angled differently helps "move" the cup volume a little too. Hmmm.... that's got me thinking now! So thanks for sharing that detail.
Yay another Comexim win! Looks great on you! And the versatility with the straps is a plus for sure.
WildWolff , yes, I don't consider this to be plungey on me at all - particularly if you look at this style, it looks like a normal gore, imo. (sorry, I got distracted by new posts and didn't respond..lol)
One person you could maybe contact regarding Comexim alteration is Erica, the former manager from Sophisticated Pair. (side note: she's starting a new chapter in her life, and this is her new blog https://sophisticatednotion.com/welcome-to-my- new-blog/) I'm not sure if she still uses her old email though.
She has several Comexim reviews and several videos on Comexim alterations. https://youtu.be/METoV07IF6A Interesting fact: she says that she can actually wear all 3 types of Comexim gore, raised gore, lowered gore, and normal.
I think I will just stick with normal gore, but it's interesting some people can wear all three.
Erica, former Sophisticated Pair boutique owner has done Youtube videos on all of the Comexim alterations https://youtu.be/METoV07IF6A
I'm actually wearing this bra r.n. as a strapless bra with a tank top because we are having a HEAT WAVE!! I'm sure not if a lowered gore would work with this style though.
BraOdyssey Yeah, not sure how much they'll lower it by (ideally the gore wouldn't be much more than an inch total) but I've been holding off on trying an alteration since my last order went so poorly (ordered 4 sizes to check what cup/band I'd need with them & they refused to make them all, said to pick 2 sizes max & then they only actually sent one, only refunded me for 2 after several, months of chasing them). If I were to try them again my size has changed enough I'd need to try a few on again & doubt they'd do that if they refused before. I'm always in between cups & bands so always have to try several now (I so miss when I could just pick up a 32C in any plunge from any company & be fine). Doesn't help that the size chart only seems to go up to a 106cm bust in the band I think I'm most likely to need & mine measure about 116cm at the moment. So I can't find the cup in any of the drop downs suggesting even the unaltered would be a nuisance to order.
AlexaFaie , yes, this process takes quite a while sometimes (trying to find ABTF!)
BraOdyssey thanks for the suggestions, I recently started following bloggers thanks to the posts here about good blogs and people to follow. I like reading up on bra material these days. I will probably order Comexim with alterations at some point because right now the only bra that fits is Ewa Michalak PL style and it's not the best with soft tissue. And I want more variety than one style. Until then I'm overlapping and altering gores on my existing bras, which is an adventure on it's own!
side note: I'm always slightly annoyed when I look this up because there is another "Aphrodite's Closet" which appears first - I think it's women's clothes or jewelry, lol.
BraOdyssey I've ordered from Tina before on ebay. I have notifications set up for Ewa Michalak on many apps/websites and check places regularly. It's not that I can't find them, I just want to branch out more and find something that fits from other brands and in other styles/colors. I wish polish brands offered more styles in a low gore because everything else is usually perfect for me. But Comexim I can order with alterations and they have pretty colors so it's on my list!
First padded, seamed bra I've been able to actually try on. Initially didn't fit, but now that I've gained my COVID-19 weight, I'm very glad I kept it! It's the only bra I've got currently that is consistently comfy, despite breast size fluctuations across my cycle.
It's got quite a lot of projection (although I could use more at the bottom), and the width and length of the wires is practically perfect. Very comfy wide band, and the positioning of the straps mean they actually stay on my narrow shoulders (unlike all my beloved balconettes)! There's a bit of gapping at the top of the cups close to ...the gore, and the gore doesn't fully tack. I'm uncertain if this is due to the cup size being too large, the bottom of the cups being a bit too shallow, or perhaps the cup height being too tall. A half cup might be better for me than a plunge style. Over, not a perfect fit but it's good enough to be in heavy rotation right now. The beautiful color and lace is a definite plus. I have never expected that a 2HC can give me such a good wearing appearance. Maybe just a coincidence, it's not mega wide and shallow as I thought (actually with 14.5 cm cup width and 22.7 cm cup depth). It fits my conical shape and makes a deep cleavage. Although the mark of the wire still doesn't run along my IMF, my breast tissue can be spread due to the pressure by the cup when I am wearing it, fills the bottom perfectly and doesn't escape from the armpits. But if I try to pull the band up to let ...the mark completely sit in my IMF, it hurts. I'm not sure if I should return it back to get a 3HC or any alterations for a better fit, any suggestions below are welcome.
The dark blue lace on the nude colour is a beautiful match. Ribbons and the "eyelashes" on the cup top make the bra looks more gorgeous. The cups are soft moulded inside and very comfortable to wear.
The width of the gore bottom is 3.6 cm, the depth of the cup top is 21.2 cm. So this bra may also fit the round shape with more center fullness. It has 5 columns of hooks, I hope it can have a longer life than my other bras.
Edit: Finally I pulled the wire into my IMF, but then it seems a little bit too big for me, so I decided to return it back. Read more 144 more words
I think it looks great! I haven't tried the Victoria or padded 2HC, but I've seen a lot of reviews saying 3HC's are deeper, and the Victoria (no matter in what cut) is wider and shallower. I think you can try some other 3HC, both padded and non-padded, except for Ginger and Victoria.
I recently got a 65J Belen 3HC which is beautiful, but not a perfect fit. While the bra band was a bit snug, the cups did fit, but were a little bit too tall for my functionally short roots. So Wilderness1 was super kind and generous to offered to send me a bunch of her altered Comexims to try. Looking at the list, some looked like they were going to be too small, and some looked like they had similar enough measurements and alterations, so I narrowed it down to 4 bras (one of which is actually Anna Pardal, which was made by Comexim). ...I had the option to purchase two of them, and this is one of them, though spoilers: I didn’t.
This bra came to me from her, but it was from another user, so I can’t fully gage how much it has stretched out. I was able to comfortably clasp it on either of the two middle sets of hooks (has 4 columns). The black lace on top of the champagne layer is striking, in the same way it was on my Victoria (which was navy lace). It’s got a bit of black lace to edge the cups instead of the eyelash lace that Victoria has.
Sadly, it’s still not a great fit. Straps moved in are ace, but the cups are still a bit tall and guppy, especially at the straps where my tissue is not prominent. Even though it’s got 2cm reduced cups, it’s got 2cm added depth at the wire, which negates the reduced cups in my opinion. My boobs just settle lower in the cups and still run out of tissue by the time they reach the top of the cups. I think that this set of alterations, minus the added depth, would fit me better. I’m not convinced that the lower gore is a benefit either. Or perhaps a 70H with added depth at the wire. Not sure if that would work any better or differently.
Because it’s a little bit taller and open still, it is quite visible under my tops. I tried a few to see if I could get it to work with anything, but the cup edge was still a bit noticeable. Unless I wore a cami or tank over it under my tops.
Somewhat sad it didn’t work, but I am glad to have tried it. It makes me think that maybe my Ingrid really does have reduced cups, but simply irrelevant or redundant due to the added depth. Read more 318 more words

My Shape: FOB, narrow shoulders and roots, soft tissue, projected Appearance: I really love the look of Nautical style swimsuits, so this one is perfect! It has thin navy blue stripes on top of white, and a little blue bow at the gore. The clasp is the metal one hook kind that sorta latches together, if that makes sense? So you have to make sure the band isn't too loose or tight, since there is isn't a regular hook and eye set. Fit: I need this in a bigger cup for sure, but it's not small enough that I can't wear it. I've worn it once to a pool, and was hyper aware of how my breasts kept slightly poofing out of the top. The band fits perfectly, though. I'm stuck with this until I get a new bikini top! I wear this with a pair of retro high waisted bottoms in a BRIGHT red. They look so cute together! I think this would look really cute with high waisted yellow shorts, too!
My shape is low set, soft, slightly pendulous, with narrow and short roots.
I got this bra pre-loved from another bratabase user. I normally wear 65 bands in Comexim, but the measurements on this one pointed to it having a tighter band, so I decided to give it a go. The lace does not cover the entire back of the band, so the band is a bit stretchier in the back. Still supportive, just stretchier than my 65J - Comexim » Natalie Half Cup (491) for example. There are 4 x3 set of hooks, which is a nice feature in the bras in this size range. I ...also notice that the straps are a bit wider.
The shape is rounded and mounded! Not as "out there" projected like Ewa Michalak bras, but nice and round. I actually find that the cups on Comexim bras fit me better than EMs chps, which is probably due to my average apex projection and short roots. Comexim's half cups are shallower than EM's chps.
Overall a well made bra with pretty lace and nice rounded cups. Read more 75 more words

Finally got my first direct from Comexim bra! While it's been nice to finally find "pretty" patterned bras in my size I've been needing one to match my skin tone, enter the lace nude. The cups are a little tall for me, but I think that's just the way it's going to be with my short roots. The gaps aren't noticeable under clothes so it's no big deal. It is a bit taller at the strap than my 3HC Victoria and when I first put it on the straps were irritating my tail of spence to the point that I thought they didn't move them in like I ...asked, but I laid both bras over each other and the straps are in the same spot so it's just a little extra height in the cups that moved them. I wore the bra all day and once it settled I didn't notice them at all. In fact I think this is now the most comfortable bra I have.
The lace is flat and isn't noticeable under a shirt, but the seams do pop out a bit. The wires are perfect. I get the same indents in the cups just below the straps that I have in the Victoria but these are less noticeable. The band feels firmer than the Victoria but strangely stretches more, I guess it just feels firm because it's new. I should probably have gotten a 65 band since they're not running as tight as they once were.
Overall, I love it. It makes me want to blow all my money on more 3HCs but I'm exercising restraint.
Oh and if anyone was wondering about shipping times from Comexim, I ordered on 9/29 but it was late Friday night on the east coast of the US so early Saturday morning in Poland. They confirmed to me Monday morning, shipped Friday 10/6 and I received it 10/24. Read more 207 more words
In the spirit of giving thanks this weekend I’d like to extend a big thank you to Wilderness1 for sending me this beautiful Comexim Beauty 3hc in 70HH.
If you click on the gallery to see all the pics you’ll see what a winner this bra is. I was a little nervous about getting a 70 to my normal 65 band but it feels great done up on the next to last hooks, it’s perfect. I know the cup height was reduced and its perfect, no gapping! And my breasts come pretty close to touching which is no small feat! I was wowed by how sexy this is so I picked up a couple more in this style during the Comexim BF sale. Thanks Wilderness1 this bra found a good home here lol!!

I purchased 70HH BF of 2017 thru Comexim and they never fit, were swimmingly unsupportive and I wasn't confident enough to mail them back to Poland. This BF in 2018 I ordered 70HH with reduced cups because logicially.. anyways Comexim received the order and did the standard "are you suuuuure" and all the sudden I wasn't sure and went with the exchangeable size of 70H. 🤦♀️. Too small. No gore tacking, remotely. So in the return exchange I went back with my gut and crossed my fingers and lo and behold the reduced cup with three hooks is pretty spectacular!! Alllmost to the point I might be able to carry off a 70J in reduced cups this coming Black Friday... but these are the 2019 modified unreturnable edition, and Comexim did spectacularly!
First forays in comexim... I bought this bra after buying the basic plunge in 34H, and feeling like the band was a little loose. So I got this one, 32HH, and for me it doesn't fit quite right. It's a plunge style with alterations, so the gore is raised and the cups are lowered so it fits more like a balconette. The gore doesn't tack because I think it's too high for me. But then it's kind of gappy at the top of the cups! Hum..... Anyway, I will be listing hoping it will make someone else happy!
A lot of people seem to go through some trial and error when figuring out which combination of alterations (or lack of alterations) and styles before figuring out which Comexim works best for them. I highly recommend finding other users similar to your measurements and breast shape to better help you figure out what might work best for you from @Comexim . Posting fit checks will also bring your fit problems to the communities attention! Good luck. ^.^
This bra is so cute in person. I'm so glad I was able to order an unlined Comexim that was NOT white! It's nice to have something pretty and colorful in my bra wardrobe. Anyways, I'm quite pleased with how this bra fits me. The band is nice and firm, the lace on the top is stretchy and conforms to my soft tissue on top really well and makes me feel "enclosed," if that makes any sense. So far, the unlined, lacy-top bras I've ordered from Comexim have been perfect when it comes to that. (I haven't had much success with their padded bras, unfortunately; my left breast is ...just about a cup size bigger than my right, I think, so I always have one breast that fits and the other .... doesn't, lol. Lots of left quad boobage.) I didn't realize that the Karen has two vertical seams as opposed to the Emily; not sure how that affects fit? Regardless, this Karen fits me just about perfectly, except for the straps are set ever so slightly too wide. I did request the narrowed straps, but either they didn't or couldn't do that particular customization on this bra. (I ordered a Queen of Hearts and another Emily along with this Karen, and they both came with the narrow straps, so I'm thinking the design or something makes it not possible for them to narrow the straps easily.) I have tried several sizes. When I wore a 70HH size, top of cup is fit but I need more bottom volume. When 70J, bottom of cup is OK but there is empty space in cup top. None of the sizes fit me. It is because my highly short and bottom projected breast. Anyone who has a same problem like me knows how the lack of cup bottom volume makes people uncomfortable.
I did a search to solve this problem and I found one reviewer who requested 'deeper cup option'. I decided that I should try it. I ordered 70HH ...ELENA 3HC bra and asked 2cm deeper cups at the bottom of the cups, near the wires.
And result...? It is a 70HH bra that has 70J cup bottom volume! And fits me!
I took a picture of this bra with my old Elena 3hc 70HH. Beige one is my old Elena 3hc 70hh without deeper cup option. Black one is my new Elena 3hc 70HH with deeper cup. Can you see a difference?

This is amazing. Do you think they made the entire cup deeper rather than just the bottom? It's kind of hard to tell by the photo. I'm trying to get them to do a plunge with a deeper cup because I have the same problem. Did you order the alteration in English?
letstalkaboutbras It is hard to say. But this is measurement. Depth in bottom : black is 23cm, beige is 21cm Depth in top : black is 23cm, beige is 22.5cm
Definitely black one is a little bigger overall . But it is smaller than 70J overall(I also have 70J size)
And I used only English when ordered.
Thank you for sharing, May_June! I have the same fit issue with Comexim, too. Perhaps I will order again with the alterations you specified :-)
So that might have been me May_June , or FoxTaylor who posted about Comexim making bras with specific depth on request (custom order). I had Zathiya Lingerie do the asking for me, and I am sure she did it in English, but every bra had the requested 25cm depth across the apex, which resulted in them being deep enough at the wire but not too big at the top. I did not ask for any other alterations which might have made the cup smaller (like straps moved in or reuced cup). They did come with overlapping gore and cookie pockets, which I did not ask for. Previously I have not been able to wear Comexim because they are too shallow - unless I ordered a much too big size and added a pad somewhere to push up and fill in the empty top. Yes, they will do it!
Such a pretty bra! The way it fits the smaller and larger size is amazing, looks perfect on you! Such a bra win!
