So this is my first foray into Comexim and I am very pleasantly surprised with the overall fit, even if this bra wasn't quite perfect.
After these bras had been posted I'd realised that I may have been better off with the next cup size up, and trying it on has confirmed this. I get all sorts of spillage, particularly over the outer wire, not because my root is too wide but because the cup isn't big enough and the wire is just a bit too short for all of my tissue. The physical proportions of the cups almost over-emphasize that the cup is too small - it reminded ...me of my old 36Cs. The lace isn't stretchy but it does encapsulate the breast tissue well, although I get the tiniest bit of quadding when fully scoop-and-swooped.
That being said, this bra does just about work for me. None of these fit issues are obvious underneath a shirt, except that I get a bit more bounce than I would with my Panaches. The wires are beautifully narrow for me, and are determined to stay in my IMF - they are also surprisingly soft, especially compared to my EM bras. I do get a soft tack on the centre gore, which is a bit lower than average for Comexim (I didn't request this). I had requested the straps to be moved in 1.8cm however comparing to other bras I don't believe this was done.
So ultimately, slightly disappointing for my first experience, but I'm definitely going to order again. Read more 149 more words
Beautiful bra. Shame about the odd fit. A _hard_ stretch brings this particular "34" to 32", stretch without distorting the cups is more like 30", which despite technically working on my frame gives me a fun 'can't quite breathe comfortably' feeling. But I'm going to keep it and wear it with an extender, as I think it's a close enough fit (and so unusual for the bra) to expect it to stretch to something slightly less far from being TTS.
Cup-wise, this fits almost exactly like my 70HH - Comexim ยป Rose Plunge Bra -- which is of course not quite what you'd expect, given that it's a cup size (and two band sizes) bigger. But cm-sized bras do do less variation between cups (2cm) than inch-sized bras (2.54 cm) to begin with, and it's a bit of an odd duck, and Jaimie specifically picked this one out for me because it ran unusually small for a Noir. So here we are.
I only just got this yesterday after finally ordering directly from Comexim; this has narrowed straps, raised gore, and three hooks instead of two. I haven't worn it all day yet, but I'm planning to tomorrow to give it the ultimate test! Just based on trying it on, though, I think I would have been better off ordering an 80HH. The band is tighter than I like, though I can hook it. Nothing a band extender can't fix, though!
I wanted this to fit so bad, but sadly, it is way too tight in the band, and the cups seem slighter smaller than the other HH Comexims I have. Major pop-outage on my left side, which is bigger, and I am constantly trying to push them back in. I'm sure you all know how that goes... it's a losing battle.
did you read reviews before buying? I am pretty sure i've seen ppl say the basic runs small
Yeah, I did read them. I bought a 75J thinking it would be the cup size, but that one was way too big. So after much finaggling, I've figured out that 80HH works best for me, at least with all the other Comexim besides Basic.
Iris is stretchy compared to the other two Comexims I have (Geisha and Georgia)
Gorgeous plum color, with an icy blue accent in the embroidery. Too small in the cup for me, but that's because I underestimated my Comexims size the first go around. A 75J is perfection, and I'm definitely going to reorder this one.
The fit is extremely similar to the Carmen (see my other review): the bra construction is exactly the same, which is great! Again, a tad small on my bigger boob, but overall, I love this bra.
I'm in love with Comexim! Awesome fit. The cup is slightly too small on my bigger boob, but it did not bother me enough to get an exchange. The wires don't poke in my arms, the projected shape is lovely, and I get a really nice cleavage with it. The quality is very good and even after numerous washes it still looks brand new.
Brand new: Pretty & practical, but cup runs smaller than Snow by a full size. It also seems to emphasize the difference in size between my breasts in a way that the Snow didn't. The color is a good nude if you're pale, but I am concerned about the longevity of the lace overlay; I am afraid it will snag on my jewelry & such more than other fabrics. 3-part, lined cup, fully-adjustable straps, 3 hooks, reasonable price (ordered direct).
