I picked up this bra on ebay and expected it to be too big in the cup and too tight in the band, since I have heard that Comexim bands run tight. But was so excited for the chance to try it that I took the chance. Yes, the band is too tight, but not by very much. I have lots of 38's that are every bit as snug. I'll probably wear an extender with it to keep it from digging in over the day, but I was surprised how well it fit.
The cup was also a better fit than I thought. It ...fit perfectly along the wire, with lots of immediate projection. In the future, I will probably go down a cup size, though, since the upper part of the bra is a bit wrinkled for most of the month. (It's a perfect fit for a week or so!) I got this at the same time as a Comexim Dottie in the same size, and I would have to go down two sizes in the cup for that one to look less ridiculous. I don't know if that's a difference between the padded and the soft cups, or if it is a shape issue, but it makes me unsure what size cup I need in Comexim bras.
The bra is prettier in person than it is in the pictures, but it is still a bra that seems to mean business. It looks like a practical bra that is a bit fancy but very sturdy. I feel like a festive peasant when I wear it. Read more 167 more words
The unlined and lined bras do fit quite differently. I thoroughly appreciate the immediate projection in Comexim's unlined bras. So glad you found a comfortable fit :-)
Yes, it's making me very hopeful that I can find something perfect in Comexim bras, if only I can break their secret sizing code.

I found the Emily I tried to be very stretchy compared to other Comexims, but I'm also in a different bra zone than you (my Comexim size is usually ~70J), so this might be why you've heard the bands run tight/firm but aren't experiencing it so much.
I love this bra! It’s been two years since I’ve worn underwire. It’s so comfortable and gives amazing lift. I wish the gore was slight lower, but I do like the height of the cups. I ordered this bra through Breakout Bras… so the tag says 38F (which translates to an 85G). I would say it fits like a loose 36 band or tight 38. The fabric is super soft and the lace isn’t itchy. Excited to start ordering more Comexim bras!
This was my first Comexim bra purchase and tbh I was not impressed. The pattern was cute but that was the only thing I liked about it. The fabric was scratchy and a lower quality than I expected based on the Comexim love I've read about. The band seemed excessively stretchy and the cup width was unusually wide. I tried it on several times so maybe I unknowingly stretched it somehow but it was funky.The bra was totally too small so I can't evaluate the fit.
At the time I didn't understand Comexim sizing but I've learned a lot this past year. Hopefully next time I will be a little closer to the right size.
Disappointing. The older bras, often, have stretchier bands. Geisha and Tropical Garden, in my experience do not. The newer models often have two-layer fabric bands which are more dimensionally stable.
Hope you find a softer fabric next time. Geisha, Tropical Garden, Eris, Sonia, Noir, Elena, and a few others are not as soft as Belen, Gilda, and others. Wish I could be more specific, but my pillow is calling. ;-)
This is the third Comexim I've tried, actually, though I haven't written anything up for the other two yet (I'll get around to it eventually). It's definitely the closest fit I've tried? This one I got direct from Comexim and requested the gore reduction and straps moved inward 2cm. That part is great. For once I am not having issues with either pain from the gore being too tall on a full cup or straps constantly falling off. I'd sized up in the band size somewhat foolishly, though, so now this is a problem. I should have at least gone with an ...80H instead of the 85G, though with how big this one is measuring a 75HH might be a better bet, but live and learn.
Since I picked it up literally because it was on sale enough to be a cheaper test to figure out sizing and alterations, I didn't pick it for the look, and I don't particularly like the design. Admittedly it's a lot prettier in person than I found it on the website, it's just not my cup of tea.
As far as the cup fit goes, I'm not quite filling the tops, especially on the side that's smaller, though the bottom seemed okay after I scooped and positioned the wire. My shape is more even than FOT or FOB, so I think it just expects a little more top fullness than I've got. Though also I'm finding the Comexim wires are a little narrower than I really need, and paired with the large band, they don't stay in place all that well, which contributes to not filling the cups out properly as tissue escapes out the side. It's not uncomfortable because the wires are so soft, but it leads me to not feeling very supported. I may attempt to make my own modification to shorten the band, though, because otherwise it seems wearable, and I can't return it anyway, and I could definitely use more wearable bras as at the moment I have none, haha. This bra is super cute but the cups are much too small and the band is a little big. I would order the 80 next time and no clue what cup size. I love sparkle and the little apple pattern is very cute.

I didn't size up on the band, so it fit far better than I expected it do, though it is a bit tight, but the cups are just ridiculously huge at the top for my poor pendulous breasts. There's plenty of room at the wire, so they are happy down there, but this bra just isn't for me. It's too tall, even though the gore and the wings are a nice height, and wants me to have lots of boob where I have almost none. The 85G Emily I got at the same time s only a bit roomy at the top of the cups, so it is probably more a shape issue than size. Too bad, because it is really cute and cheerful.
