I was advised to get a cup size bigger than I usually wear, but I think a 32F would have fit wonderfully. As is, there is a slight amount of wrinkling on top and on bottom. My only actual concern is that the straps are a bit wide, but wearing the right size may solve it.

Also, though I feel this would fit comfortably in the right size, scooping and swooping sets my nipples higher than the opaque fabric and fully into the mesh. I wouldn't mind, but it may be a problem for some people.

I think I need a G or GG in order to really review this bra. It cut into my breast tissue, so the FF is way too small, but I also worry about whether or not the straps adjust short enough. I'm only 5'1" tall, so I need a bra that can adjust in order to fit a short person with a small torso. I love the color and the shape, though, so I'd like to try the Gia, or another style similar, in this bra first before I write this off.

This is one of my first non-molded bras, and I'm getting used to the feeling of it. I don't like that I can see my nipples through it, and that the seams are visible under my shirts, but that's par for the course for this type of bra. The cup on my smaller boob is perfect, but there's a bit of a cutting into the larger breast. I may need to size up to a G in this bra. It's comfortable, but the straps are a bit too wide apart for my more narrow shoulders.

I had heard great things about Curvy Kate and was initially not that impressed with this bra.The see-through lace border exposes my nipples and the fabric doesn't seem to have much stretch. The shape of the cup is also a little pointy and not as round as I had hoped, and seems to run slightly large in comparison with Cleo bras. That being said, I have warmed up to this bra as it is easy to wear all day and looks great on, even if the shape under clothes is not perfect.

Curvy Kate has never been a good shape for me, so I don't know why I expected this bra to be any different, but somehow, the bargain on a continuity color made me lose my head, and I ordered two of them.

It's a very nice bra for an even shape, if Curvy Kate is a shape that generally works for you, but the overall structure of CK bras for me has always been too wide in the gore, too wide in the wire, and too shallow in the cup. It would probably have been a better fit if I sized up a cup, as I hear a lot of ladies need to do for Curvy Kate, but instead I sister sized from my usual 30G(Freya) to a 32FF for this one, which leaves me with a cup that's much too shallow for me. I think a 32G or 30GG would have been much better in my case.

Curvy Kate Gia: fail. Then again, Curvy Kate has never worked for me, so I don't know what I was honestly expecting.

I knew this bra ran about a band tight, and was expecting the gore would be too wide, so I intentionally ordered a sister size up from my usual, and went with 32FF, which was clearly a bad idea. (Not as bad an idea as buying it in both blush and black because the price was great, though.)

Not projected enough, band too loose even after the gore alteration (though just barely - it's surprisingly stretchy in blush. I remember the red being quite snug), ... cups are wider than anticipated at about 5.5 inches, so no better in width than the Freya Ooh La La I just returned for precisely this reason. Barely gives more coverage than the Polish brands I keep disdaining because I need a more full coverage bra to contain my loose skin.

So, yeah, my skin being loose just means all that excess tumbles right out of the bra from every possible escape root, and definitely too small. I think it may actually run a cup small. Hard to say exactly, since I sister sized, but sufficed to say...My boobs were sad. My wallet is sad. There's just a lot of sad going on right now.

I'm trying to decide if there's a size in this bra that might work for me, but the wires being already as wide as they are, I'm afraid going up to the size I would need (which I expect is probably a 30GG, maybe a 32G) will just do the same thing all other brands do at that size - have wires way way way too wide, and cause 'sad boob' (boobs that are pushing down the cup and causing a saggy, unsupported look).

The shape is fairly round, I will say that much for it. I'm probably going to be selling both - the black I haven't even tried on. The blush I'm still considering, but almost definitely going to remove the gore alteration and sell as well.

    FML. Back to square one...

    • I don't know about the black but I thought the blush was from the "wrong" season i.e. before they retooled the design to make the cups narrower and deeper. I bought a blush Gia 32FF last fall and it was too shallow on the inner cup...

    • Honestly, it's specifically because it was blush that I wanted it to work. I expect both are from the same season, as I purchased them from the same sale.

And while I do appreciate that Curvy Kate is finally fixing the problem with their bras, I don't know how we're expected to know what we're buying (especially on continuity colors like blacks, whites, and beiges).

This is just plain a cup too small. The overall shape seems to have decent depth for a full all over shape...if I was a 30FF. I honestly don't notice middle depth much anymore, since I'm so accustomed to altering Freyas to compensate for the lack, and since, like Freya, Curvy Kate has a gore that's always significantly too wide or me anyway, so I buy with the expectation of creating middle depth by altering the gore.

To hell with Curvy Kate (a statement I will likely take back later when I'm less irritated about the inconsistency), I'm going back to altered Freyas. At least with Freya, I know what I'm buying and 9 times out of 10 the sizing is consistent, with mostly only the black ones being weird, which at least makes sense.

I guess it's Gem or Rio next, if I ever want to wear a light colored shirt again. Not sure how much longer I can honestly expect my Jolie to last, as the only bra in my collection that isn't patterned.

This bra has a slightly weird shape. I had to bend the wires quite a bit to be comfortable in it. The lace at the top tends to wrinkle - you'd been a very round shape on top for them to not. It's also pretty full on bottom, however, so you really just need to be full EVERYWHERE to fit it perfectly.
