I bought this size with the 30F to see which fit better. I'm 73cm around the ribcage (tape measure pulled tight) and even though I was able to hook the bra on, I thought it was a bit too tight. The cups fit great one me. There's a bit of puckering on one side, but I'm smaller on that side.
The bra itself appears to be very well made. It's actually a very beautiful and sexy bra.
Edit: I just measured myself again today and I should note I'm actually 68.2cm around the ribcage (measuring tape pull tight).
So now, even after finding out you had a smaller ribcage, does it still feel too tight?
Yeah, it was too tight when I tried it on. I should've been more clear. Basically, I measured myself again the day the bras arrived since the system said I didn't measure myself in a while and suggested I do so. But I measured myself after I entered all the information about this bra, which is why I put my edit statement there. Let me know if I'm unclear. :)
Ah, thanks for explaining. Actually you could go and set how the bra fits under the newly entered measurements.
Loose in the band and small in the cup - would have like to have purchased a 26GG. This bra fits and gives and excellent cleavage but I sometimes fall out of the cups a little after an hour or two and have to re-adjust.
I just received the blue and orange version of this bra and the colors and the embroidery look really beautiful, plus it's the first bra I've bought where the cup definitely fits me and the center gore sits flat against my sternum. For me the only problem is that even though the underwires don't come up too high, the side of the cup does and it cuts a bit into my arm. The underwire might also be a bit too wide, but it doesn't bother me.
Fits well, but after all-day wearing the central part of the wire press into the chest and the wire on the outer part is not long enough, so it is necessary to rearrange breasts in the bra sometimes. Its good looking bra, but not for everyday use, because it causes pressure mark on the center of the chest. Not suitable for physical activity at all https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is a bit too tight in the band. The cups are quite overflowing and a lot of "back fat" was created. I think it is at least two cups too small for me.
This bra has a fairly stretchy band and runs small in the cup. It's very pretty and I will definitely be buying more Curvy Kate bras, but I'll be sure to order up in the cup next time and down in the band. The only downside is that the lace is very bumpy; far too bumpy to wear with tees. The seams are pretty visible as well under even modestly fitted shirts.
My favorite so far, after many hours of wear the wires leave little red dots under my armpit, but that's about the only bad thing. It looks very good, and the shape of the cups is similar to the shape of my breasts therefore I find it one of the most comfortable I own.
This bra is quite pretty, the material is a bit scratchy at first, but softens up after a wash. The cups are generous, wide and low underwires that do not dig into the armpit area. The band is quite stretchy so keep this in mind when you buy! It gives a great shape, seems to minimize a little bit.
I wore this bra several times, when 28 did fit me, but the band is still ok I think. Good thing is, it looks very sexy, bad thing for me is, that the straps are placed too much at the border (hope you understand what I mean), so they dig into my arms. The cup separation pokes very much, this is also something negative about this bra.
This is my first Thrill me bra and for me, it is more comfortable than the Tease me, because the straps are in the right position (not too much at the border). I own this bra in the colour cobalt/fuchsia and the band is way too stretchy, I would need a 30 but here, a 28 will be ok ( I wonder what women do, who need 28 in general https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":S" /> ). So I will send it back and won't keep it.
I must say, I am disappointed. I ordered the emerald bra, because I love the colour very much, and I own the black/aqua bra in 28G (also listed here) and it feels like, it were two different styles.. Compared to the black/aqua one, the emerald has a thicker padding, the is lace bigger and the band is very stretchy... so this is the last Tease me for me.. I will keep it, because of the colour, but never order a new one again https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />.
I have this in the coral/aqua version, and it is absolutely adorable! It looks very good on without clothes, uplifting and cleavage enhancing, with clothes it looks good from the front, not as nice and rounded as Ella or Emily from the side, but still OK. I think the material is very comfortable, a bit rigid perhaps, compared to a Freya or a Fantasie bra, but at least it retains its shape well.
I tried the purple version of this bra, but unfortunately had to send it back. This is the strangest fitting Curvy Kate bra I've tried. I had some spillage, so the cups where obviously too small for me, but I'm not sure if a better fitting cup would have remedied the pointing east and west shape this gave me.
I sent this bra back, because I frankly couldn't see me using it much. The appearance it gave me was too much over the top, and I probably should have gone with a bigger cup size, since I had some slight spillage. Besides, I think those frills would show through most of my clothes.
This bra is a little to small in the cup. Please see my review fir size 30FF. Even though the measurements are pretty similar to bras that fits me, I spill over in this. So it must have something to do with cup shape, or perhaps the more rigid cup edge, compared to the softer lace in Portia or Ella.
So now, even after finding out you had a smaller ribcage, does it still feel too tight?
