Really, really disappointed with this bra.

It is super cute, and the embroidery on the front is really pretty, but it just does not work as a bra. I'm glad I got it on a sale, because I can't even wear it

The shape it gives, instead of a nice rounded "wow, boobs are being lifted" kind of shape, is a weird wedge shape with a heavy push to the center (of the chest, not the breasts). The bra flattens out the sides of my boobs and is generally just not attractive on.

The fabric is itchy and uncomfortable, straps cut, and the top of the fabric doesn't tack down right. It puckers and cuts in and then flares out at the very top of the cups.

The gorge tacks nicely, but the wires are placed too far apart and extend too far into the armpits to work.

It was too small or did not work with my shape. The cups cut into my armpit and I had major quadboob.

The romance is a really pretty bra. I love the red and black together, and it has very nice details. It's comfy too, which is nice. There are a few things I don't care for-it's a little too East /West for my liking, but it's not obvious to anyone but me. And the wire doesn't go all the way up the gore, so while it tacks to where the wire stops, there's another half an inch that isn't wired and sticks out funny. Also, my husband quite likes it of course because it's partially sheer (which is why I didn't photograph myself in it). It's good quality, but I think it needs a bit of adjusting to make it the perfect bra-maybe slightly less wide wires, and definitely a longer wire that goes all the way to the top of the gore.

When I got this bra I was absolutely thinking that there would be no way that this bra would fit me. I mean I was going from a Curvy Kate Tease Me and Elegance in 28FF to a Curvy Kate Romance in 28H. Well, I can pleasantly report that it fits me without any issues. Both of my breasts are completely enclosed and the lacing lays perfectly without any gaps. The band fits like the Tease Me and Elegance. I bought this bra from another user. I own two of these bras and this review is for the black.

This is the first balconette I have tried that has fit me properly - with freya bras, I usually find that the wires are right for me but I don't fill the top of the cup.

It's a lot more sheer than I was expecting, but it is very lightweight and comfortable. The band also fits quite well, and is much smaller than the thrill me bra I have as well!
